As a senior who is only moderately techy, the entire process of qualifying and closing was overwhelming. I received email requests, of duplicates on at least 4 different email addresses.some came to me; some came to my wife; and often we got duplicate requests for $ information from different people. My android phone was frequently inadequate, and just as frequently the Lennar professionals could not help. The entire process needs to be pared down and made much more user friendly

Great First Time Home, Communication was Ok

Overall the buying experience hasn’t been terrible. The house is nice and the process was fairly smooth. I’ve been a little disappointed with the communication though. Trying to find the right person to get answers from for certain questions has been challenging. Sometimes I didn't even get a reply at all. When I did finally get the right person to help me, they did help me to the best of their ability. Overall it’s been a good experience, but there are definitely some areas of communication with Lennar that could have been better.

We had bought a new build, but pre-built Woodstock model home and have been very happy with it. The process for going through approval and closing was very fast (almost too fast to get ready for the move). We love our new home and only had less then a handful of minor, minor issues to address and Jamie with the Warranty Dept. and Kamryn with Compliance Dept. are fantastic to work with. Very responsive, knowledgable, and caring that the issue's are addressed. We were happy with the process and very happy coming up on two months in our new house

Overall, we welcomed the new home with a lot of expectations. Being an older couple we were disappointed that there were no grab bars in the showers. The refrigerator is producing ice/frost in the top drawer of the freezer section. The lighting in the bathrooms is poor for shaving of putting on make-up. The lights are behind you. The bedrooms/offices have one light and no fans.

Lennar has many great people that are assigned to help you with the various aspects of your home purchase and closing. All are specialists and quite qualified. Many greatly exceeded expectations. If there is something we needed to come up with to improve the experience for us, it would be to give the purchasers a better up-front idea of the ton of paperwork that comes at you fast and furious. Maybe a chronological list of tasks that must be completed, with deadlines and assigned professionals to deal with for each item. It got a bit confusing and overwhelming for us in the beginning. We have been very satisfied overall. There are a few things we have been less satisfied with, but the overall value is very good. One recommendation would be to offer alternative interior colors than white. Response to issues so far has been great though.

I bough without a realtor, and just me and the sales office. Karl was immensely helpful in his knowledge, responsiveness and chasing down answers for me. I used a private inspector who as you would expect found things during construction, and they were addressed promptly with personal high-touch interaction with Matthew and JD, my construction managers. Now, this was not my first rodeo, but even if it were, these folks did a very nice job.

I purchased this property as a single-family investment for long-term leasing. My buying experience with Lennar was good overall. Generally, there was someone at each step of the way to ask questions of and keep me informed as to what task I had to attend to next. My biggest complaint would be the length of time it took to lay the sod and put in the trees on the property. Their target was to have the sod and trees in "seven to ten days after closing". Instead it took them three weeks from closing which meant I was delayed that long in being able to show the property to prospective tenants. ...

Overall, the experience with Lennar went smooth and as advertised. Quality is average. Not much attention to details and craftsmanship. All items are "contractor grade" at best. Meaning better than junk, but no better than average. Think "value" line in whatever came with the unit. But, I did know this going in.

So far it's been great. We been loving the house. It's calm and very spacious. Lennar has been good to us. We like everything except the bathroom near the kitchen and that outside we sometimes have a big puddle after the rain. Overall we like it.

At the beginning I was very upset because due to negligence on behalf of the HVAC company, my move in was delayed upon discovering a leak in one of the bedrooms. The carpet was soaked and Lennar quickly responded and began clean up and repair. After a couple of weeks everything was squared away and I was able to move in and begin making it our home. Erastus and Mike worked diligently to get things moving along. Alejandra checked in often to ensure things were progressing. The home is great, but having to deal with the HOA is a pain in the butt. I do not like feeling like a prisoner in my own home, not being able to do simple things without getting permission. Even though I just purchased this home, more than likely, I will find another area in Floresville without an HOA and move again.

Disappointed with quality of appliances for a $500K+ home. Wasn’t flagged on the planes flying over the community which should have been disclosed. Setup of the laundry room prevents full use of the space. Bedroom carpeting is not up to the standards of the home—flooring should have been consistent with the rest of the home. Would have liked the name of the paint/colors used.
