Buying with Lennar was a pretty easy process. The separation of Lennar companies was a bit difficult to navigate I.e. Lennar construction, Lennar mortgage, and Lennar sales.

My overall experience was pretty good. My sales consultant Debbie Huntley and finance Michael Vera made the experience the best. However, the pushiness of the house walkthrough consultant was not appreciated as there were a few last minute things needed on the property before closing. Seemed more of a push to close than making sure the client was comfortable with the process.

We recently purchased another Lennar home in Sparks (Eaglewood at Five Ridges) with my mom as her primary residence. We also live in a Lennar home in Reno that was built in 2021 and really like it. The homes are not perfect, like with any builder, but in general Lennar produces a quality product. Pros: Great home below median $/SF in a good area. Jennifer with Lennar Mortgage was amazing and really went the extra mile to get us in the home. Lending terms were the best available by far. Everyone on the team that we worked with was very friendly and helpful. Cons: Lower quality base finishes, i.e. carpet that will not last. Front yard landscaping is bare minimum in materials, design, and workmanship, i.e. cheap rock simply poured in large quanities over areas (impossible to pull trash cans behind fence in deep/uneven rock), etc., no options to fund back yard landscaping through loan/home price. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons and the cons are fairly common with all builders. We would absolutely recommend Lennar homes to friends and family. Great experience. Thank you! ... More

We are very pleased with our new home. Lennar has a very efficient system in place to help new homeowners navigate the purchase and move-in process. Everyone is very helpful and responsive.

Everyone helpful but to much Online paperwork ! Frustrating and stressful. We are not good with computers we had to seek outside help to do pages and pages unnecessary paper work !why have a Closing! Bathrooms are very basic not crazy about that. Have AC/Heating unit in Attic is insane. We are elderly can't climb into Attic?? Need to hire someone for the monthly maintenances of the Unit whoever thought of doing that should be fired

Courtney was very helpful walking us thru homebuying process. Justin (from Lennar mortgage) was EXTREMELY helpful. He explained the process every step of the way.

Overall satisfied, there are issues, but some they will fix right away, others they might deny.

House is great, dealing with their mortgage people was not enjoyable. You can buy better homes, better quality, but the closest thing that Del Webb had to offer was way more than 100k higher in price. I have no regrets, this is my 2nd Lennar home in 6 years.

We started the homebuying process the homebuying process in October. The overall process took a very long time. Initial closing was supposed to be mid January, but it got pushed out a number of times. End of January, then early February. And all final closing "certifications" from Lennar didn't happen until beginning of February. Being on credit lock down for 4 months is a LOT. To have to wait 4 months to do anything because the final approval on the mortgage was delayed was more than a little stressful.

I'm sure others have covered all the typical pros & cons of the home itself. The one area I find highly frustrating is moving into a new home and it backs to a future phase that has been postponed. That land which many new homeowners view everyday since it's right in their back yard has piles of trash and debris 2 stories or higher. It also has mountains of dirt at least 3 stories high. There's more but I'll digress. My understanding is that it will be a year or more before anything is done with this mess. Lennar needs to address this in Horizon's at Summers Corner even if it's just removing the trash & huge steel containers and then leveling out the dirt. Anything would be an improvement to make this eyesore less painful to us new homeowners. ... More

We enjoyed the process. The sales agent was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The closing day was longer than usual but the misunderstanding was cleared and we finally closed the same day. The meetings with the house manager were very helpful.

Working with Jenna was amazing. She went way above her job title to help me through the steps to complete the purchase. She was there for me from day one, and is still there to help with all I need. I’m happy with the home, so far no issues. Everything with Lennar was great, except going through the mortgage experience.

The process was a bit strange that you had to be pre-approved before being able to make an offer on the home. Actually worked out better for us in the long run. Second time we bought a Lennar home. HATE that you. Ant modify anything as it’s being built. I understand they want to keep the price down but really should put a cabinet above the space for the refrigerator and who still uses drop in sinks for new builds? Happy with everything else would just love to not have carpet in rooms and then have to pull it out to put the other flooring in that’s already installed in the house. We had very good experience with both Blake the Project Manager and Caitlin the Warranty Rep for our home. They were very responsive to our requests and followed through to completion.

Average builder but cost effective

There have been some minor issues with home construction. But the Concierge, Construction, and 2 of 3 Customer Service individuals have gone the extra mile in being very flexible and helpful. The main customer service rep assigned to me has been excellent. There were also some issues with the loan process that caused unnecessary delays and misunderstandings. But other employees at Lennar Mortgage rectified the issues. Currently in the process of resolving some inconsistent information. Lennar Title was very professional, efficient and responsive. Overall, a good experience so far.

Working with Lennar overall was positive. However, you have to understand what you are getting which is a quality spec home at a good price. You get what you get. They mass produce houses and you will have the occasional issue. Also certain things may or may not be included.

I like the quick response to any issues with the house. The repairmen were very courteous and professional.

IS HARD TO CONTAC HOA

We love the floor plan. Was disappointed in 2 x 4 vs 2 x 6 studs. The build should have more insulation included. No major issues at this 3 months in. Closing was seamless. We hope to live here for many years.

Overall quality is OK - biggest complaint is the sheer amount of trash left over from the builders. Rusty metal pins, screws/nails, shingles, concrete pour-over from the patio in the grass. Nightmare for anyone with kids or pets!!
