As a senior who is only moderately techy, the entire process of qualifying and closing was overwhelming. I received email requests, of duplicates on at least 4 different email addresses.some came to me; some came to my wife; and often we got duplicate requests for $ information from different people. My android phone was frequently inadequate, and just as frequently the Lennar professionals could not help. The entire process needs to be pared down and made much more user friendly

I saved and put most everything into this home. I love the lay out, However, I am so mad that I closed with the understanding that I would have a driveway, grass and landscape when the weather broke. I just got my driveway 2 weeks ago, I am still waiting for grass and landscape and painting the outside and a Handle for my outside water so I can Clean the siding and windows and screens. The outside of house is filthy! the patio is also full of pop marks, but you keep building, and no one has time to complete the Closed homes only the homes ready to close.

The first walk through of the home I highlighted a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Second walk through was the same day as my closing day (very inconvenient) nothing was fixed. The home looked the same as the first walk through.

Lennar took care of me and answered my questions every step along my journey to home ownership. My realtor, Elijah Warner, promised me that Lennar were the best in the business and he was absolutely correct.

Homes are maid cheaply no quality workmanship and material. They just look pretty. Drive way, for a 4 car garage was designed poorly. Not even 2 cars can park next to each other on the drive way without getting too close to the house. Even though I paid 25k for landscaping in the backyard, I had no input how to make it just a rectangle patch of grass with no nice shape. Not all rooms have low voltage wiring which should be standard. Cheaper houses have been pre wired for cable and internet since 20 years ago. Overall, because of the mistake original salesman made in our case, it turned out to our favor and I think we got a better lot but all those issues remains. The standards Lennar has does not make sense. You guys say you don't do certain things and not customize to be on time but, let's say why can't customers have the say so in at least the color of the countertops? It's same material, same price just different color. 1.2, 1.3 million dollars is not a small amount and for that, I should have gotten a better house. Driveway is the main thing that I'd have to get rid of all those nice plants and replace them with concrete to make driveway match the house. Or using small loose rocks on the edge where it will scatter all over the siding. Who's designing all these? Bring me in and I'd do a better job. Very disappointed in Lennar but unfortunately, it's the house that family liked because of the openness and rooms that have bathrooms and walk-in closets. But, that's how I feel. You can change that by helping me at least correct the driveway at your own cost if you want a better review and recommendation from me. Also no walkway from house to street? Bad design. ... More

The whole experience except our sales person has been AWFUL. And it’s still awful, we have so many issues still not fixed. Our closing documents were lost for 5 days and almost made us homeless after closing was pushed back 5-6 times. We never got an actual move in clean and now I cannot get my floors clean and there’s residue all over that I cannot get off windows, counters, etc. we have damage to our siding from when they installed the sod which is only half the yard btw they wrecked into our house, still not repaired. Lennar is the least helpful with the most incompetent people working for them, always giving the runaround, no accountability but you had better do what THEY need asap or your deal can fall through. I had to do so much of the work myself bc if I didn’t we wouldn’t hear from anyone including our “liaison” I don’t remember what he’s called but we were supposed to be contacted weekly and that NEVER happened but when I’d reach out for updates he wasn’t very pleasant. Being a first time home buyers, we were nervous about all the logistics in the process, but with Lennar everything went by breeze and it could never get any better!

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

The initial buying experience was great, Phil and Jennifer did a great job getting me looked after. There were several issues with the features of the house that I was nit happy at all with unknown to myself or the sales department.

Laurie was fantastic. She kept us informed throughout the whole process and made the entire experience very comfortable for us.

I didn’t receive a phone call from the sales agent when the loan funded. And the listing agent and builder will not accurately update the listing and remove it from still showing as pending or for sale and it’s been months since I closed. I’ve asked all parties repeatedly. On other notes, the house is sound and was accurately presented and is living up to what was highlighted during the initial inquiry of the property. Warranty inquires have been handled promptly. These other areas surrounding the purchase to impact the overall feeling of the customer and also it affects our interest in partnering with this builder again if these other areas are going to cause so much stress. Outstanding from the initial walk thru of the models thru the homebuying experience. Christina, Gus, and Escrow were wonderful to deal with.

Lennar's buying process was completely disorganized, there was a complete lack of communication, and there are still defects in the home that are not up to code months after my closing. I was passed around to nearly a dozen different people throughout the process from Lennar's sales rep, to Lennar's concierge, to Lennar's lender, to Lennar's designers, etc. To make matters worse, no one seemed to have any information and frequently no one would answer my questions. For instance, I made a request for extra outlets to be added as a disability accommodation at the very beginning of opening escrow which was an option in the papers to open escrow and kept asking my sales agent about it but she ignored my requests all day until I had to submit the paperwork before the deadline or lose the home. Then when I spoke to her about it the next day she apologized, said it was her fault and would correct the issue in my paperwork. That was a lie. She said that my request should be fine and she would let the construction manager know. However, I had to keep asking for weeks and was brushed off by my sales rep and concierge each time until finally at the close of escrow they told me they couldn't help. The construction manager said that he could easily insert the additional outlets as long as corporate approved but that he never received any request. The request should have been honored and could have easily been done before the drywall even went up since I made it at the very beginning of escrow. I also asked to do a pre-drywall inspection since drywall had not gone up when I opened escrow. Again I was brushed off repeatedly for weeks until they told me that it was too late because they put the drywall up in my home without telling me. I did get a chance to do a pre-drywall inspection of another unit but that's not what I asked for and there was no reason I should have been denied the ability to do the inspection on my actual home before they put the drywall up in my unit. The community also requires me to submit design applications for my front yard yet no one at Lennar knew who I should contact, where I should send my application, what forms I needed, etc. And then when I was going through Lennar's home insurance arm, the agent was repeatedly given the wrong information about my home which didn't match the type of home, the square footage, the community, nothing was correct. I was the one that had to point out the deficiencies and it took multiple iterations before a correct quote was eventually made. Throughout the process I was never told about the schedule of final dates leading up to my closing such as when the initial walkthrough would take place, the new home celebration, the final walkthrough, etc. Lennar has a set process for these items and I should have been told these specific dates when I opened escrow so I could make the necessary arrangements with my work to take the time off. Then when I was closing escrow, virtually none of the issues identified by Lennar itself were finished by the time I took possession including failing to adhere to local building codes to have carbon monoxide detectors outside the living area on each floor... in fact, no carbon monoxide detectors were installed in the home. And it has now been 2 months since I closed escrow and there are still carbon monoxide detectors missing from my home even though I have messaged the construction manager and my afterpurchase home service rep multiple times over the past 8 weeks to fix that issue. I also had my own home inspection done and provided the extensive list of items that my inspectors said needed to be corrected and I was told that Lennar would go through the list and let me know what items they would agree to but it's been months and Lennar is just ignoring my messages. ... The loan officer made the experience almost impossible to comprehend because of the demands and mismanagement along with the lack of communication skills.

I love my home. It's beautiful.

Overall the experience was good but I am having lots of challenges in getting driveway pavers replaces as the originals were defective. While someone came to partially replace some of the stones the coolers were completely different. Getting very little support from people I spoke with

If i could go back in time and tell myself to not do it i would!!!! Rude incompetent people. No communication. I will never EVER suggest Lennar to ANYONE not even my worst enemy. Please save yourself the money, headache, and gray hairs and buy from literally any other builder. You would think they would try and make the first time i’m buying a home pleasant but NOPE. Seriously DO NOT BUY LENNAR.

Lack of communication on her part was ridiculous! Started buying process 8/24 and was not informed about a project manager until home was 6 weeks from being COMPLETE! No one called me for any inspections (drywall) of which I wanted to be included in. The only way I found out anything was that I went to the house EVERY weekend since August and made a list of questions and had to contact her for answers which took days for any response. My new neighbors informed me about a project manager and weekly emails of updates on the house of which I NEVER got. Paying this price for a home should include someone who cares about keeping the buyer informed. Jenny made a handsome paycheck on the sale of my house and it wasn't deserved. ... More

My experience with buying a home with Lennar was amazing. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, patients and always ready help. The home was delivered on time and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking to buy a new home
