After my experience, I would never buy or recommend anyone buy a Lennar product. From a distance it looks great, but when you actually look closely, the workmanship is horrible. In the 4 months of living in my new construction home I've had a flood, ceiling leaks, and a loss of hot water due to a gas regulator issue. While most of these issues have been fixed, it was a battle and shouldn't happen to begin with in a new construction home.

Lack of communication throughout the home building process from the Construction Manager and Salesperson. Many things missed or shortcuts taken that I had to ask to go back and address. Flooring options are subpar, as we have already had to replace the cheap engineered hardwoods they use. I will think twice in the future prior to using Lennar.

Sales guy who originally sold us the home- fantastic! Everything else from there- terrible. Lennar lending is terrible I would not recommend them to my pets! Lots of shady backdoor stuff going on with them. The build of the house is ok, lots of little things they don't do which are basic things in my opinion- sealing granite and floors, just to name a few. Once home is purchased and need ur repairs done- ha! Good luck with that. Our building manager was NEVER anywhere to be found. Took 3 months to complete punch list... which by the way was supposed to be done BEFORE closing. If I had ...

I would never recommend a Lennar home. We had to buy from them because we wanted to be in the neighborhood where they were the only builder. Within one week of closing, shingles were blowing off the roof and within 3 weeks we were catching buckets of water from the leaks in the roof/ bathroom vents. I could go on for a long time but hopefully you get the idea. They are responsive to issues because thats how they manage their business, by never doing things right the first time.

It is clear that the point was to complete our house as soon as possible and cut corners. We were given the run around on everything and all involved Lennar employees were more interested in other things than helping us. It takes forever for things under warranty to get replaced and have someone come out to do so. Th Customer Warranty Rep said multiple times "thats all you can do" on things link the staining of the railing, the crappy wood used for our front step, and pretty much everything else. Also, the contractors they used are not very good and they do not care and stonewall to avoid ...

Very poor attention to resolving “punch list” and warranty issues . We have been in the house for 4 months and major items still remain unresolved. Lennar has become completely unresponsive to our requests to resolve these matters.

Being delayed from closing on the home while it stood completed and it costing $5000+ to live during this time. No good reason for delay .

The process started well. At the time of closing, the quality of the home "appeared" to be what we expected. We put a great deal of trust in the builder on delivering a house that was as advertised and a high quality of work. But within the first several days and weeks it became apparent there were a number of "quality" related issues that went beyond aesthetics and were fundamentally wrong. Issues ranging from faulty appliances to poorly designed/engineered duct work to improper placement of fire/smoke alarms. It has been over five months of taking two steps forward and two steps back ...

I have had nothing but problems since buying. There have been numerous issues with warranty work that is very unreliable. Upon move in we were told the house would be cleaned. Not o LT were there con webs in the corners but there is still paint on the floors that I, myself, am cleaning over time. There has not been a time that warranty work has been scheduled and kept. They are always late or don’t show at all. I would not recommend anyone to buy from Lennar as it stands now. I know that I myself would hate to go through this experience again.

If I didn't have an amazing Realtor this would have been an even worse experience. My best advice is really do your research on materials because the options they provide (carpet,tile etc)never look the same once installed. I will be having many things replaced (windows and doors) some things were just thrown together in the build. Better communication with their lender would also improve the process

Trying to get a closing date was a nightmare and all amenities which we are paying thousands for are not be completed for more than a year later. People have been in here 2 years and receiving nothing but paying high HOA and taxes.

Monitor the work throughout the process. Many of the trades do subpar work and the construction manager failed to do to his job. If you can be here everyday to check on the progress than you might be ok. If you're forced to rely on the construction manager...well good luck.

There have been several Recent issues/defects, each of which are covered under Warranty. These defects Have Not been addressed and Homeowners are being told there is NO ETA. I may have to hire someone for a temporary fix, which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Lennar is behaving in a very Unprofessional manner. I'm Disappointed.

I the space and the layout of the house. I hate the quality of the workmanship, from the paint work to the interior door (all of them rattle), and the loose downspouts that drive me crazy at night time, the creaking floor and falling recess lights those are few examples of the list of disappointment. We did have a good experience with our sells person.

For a first time buyer I was so excited on buying my first house and spend time with family and friends. But now that the time passes by I get to notice a lot of stuff that isn’t right and that the contractors and builders let it slide under the rug so they could sell, sell and sell ,not focusing on quality and safety of the people that it’s planning to stay in the new house for the rest of their lives.
