Buying a new house was a smooth and exciting process! From securing financing to finding the perfect home, everything went well. The inspection and closing were straightforward, and now I’m enjoying my new space. Highly recommend being prepared and working with great professionals!

I will rate everything is a little below average, they are great on showing and explaining everything, but after we the offer was approved, they sent me a bunch of documents to sign and they demanded to sign before 11:00 PM the same day they sent, actually that time in only 3 to 4 hours after they sent, the documents are close to 100 pages with a lot of terminology that I am not familiar with which I needed to reach out to my realtor to explain. I refused and they said they won’t honor the offer if I don’t sign quickly. I refused of course. They ended up extending to the next day. The other ...

Lennar is a very basic home builder whose quality comes in on the lower end for workmanship and materials. They invest heavily in "quality control" and "customer care" that is mostly a facade. That money would be better directed at increasing the quality of labor and adding a few basics like towel bars and shower curtain rods that they cut corners on. If they would adopt a "done right the first time" they would not need an entire multi-level team of "quality control" and "customer care" reps who are little more than dispatchers taught to placate homeowners with words but deliver little in ...

Nice purchase experience but ensure due diligence and quality inspection is thoroughly completed.

Overall purchase experience was quick and easy. Staff were all great. However, once moved in there were some issues that needed to be addressed (heater was wired wrong and didn’t work properly, a gas leak and material issues used between the brick and the interior wall) which took time and effort due to the fact that everything has to go through the warranty office after closing. In addition, it seems that no supervisor actually walked thru and did a final quality/control inspection? Things you only discover after living in the house a while. (Poor workmanship on the interior finish, trash ...

We entered the new home construction process with Lennar late, taking on a project where the initial buyers fell out. Lennar transferred the process to us seamlessly and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

There have been some minor issues with home construction. But the Concierge, Construction, and 2 of 3 Customer Service individuals have gone the extra mile in being very flexible and helpful. The main customer service rep assigned to me has been excellent. There were also some issues with the loan process that caused unnecessary delays and misunderstandings. But other employees at Lennar Mortgage rectified the issues. Currently in the process of resolving some inconsistent information. Lennar Title was very professional, efficient and responsive. Overall, a good experience so far.

Worst experience buying house

My name is Angel, starting with the poor communication during the purchase process,I don’t know why they have a concierge because doesn’t help at all, changes in closing date without any notification, however everything was rushed in terms of requirements. My house went more than three months without being touched, leaving everything until the end. The quality of the materials used is cheap, for example the insulation where you can hear the person in the room next door, defective faucets, poorly calibrated air conditioning, touch-up paint that doesn't blend. When you walk in your yard you have ...

Everyone involved with the purchase was ok; a little over the top in loan qualifying. When we took possession we were disappointed in the condition. The house was dirty; left over plumbing parts on the cabinets; paint drips all over the floors; very poor paint finishing throughout; paint still on the glass windows, scratched glass patio doors, and many more. Somebody in senior management needs to be on sight to see for themselves!

At first, our experience with Lennar was fantastic. The loan team moved quickly, and everything seemed to be on track. As active duty military members using a VA loan, we were led to believe that Lennar was coordinating directly with the VA on our behalf. However, after speaking with a VA loan agent, we learned that some of the documents Lennar requested from us should have been handled by them, not us. This raised serious concerns about their transparency and competence in handling VA loans. Despite our reservations, we moved forward. Throughout the process, the team was responsive and ...

Tough Process Leading Up to the Purchase

They built the different house than we requested and signed up for. We wanted a 5-bed not a 4-bed house and found out they did the opposite to a neighbor 3 doors down which leads me to believe they just got the plans mixed up. We didn’t find out until the final walkthrough and the closing process was disjointed and took longer than it should’ve. The initial sales rep was great but everything after that was a struggle at best. The after care team has been good though.

Working with Lennar overall was positive. However, you have to understand what you are getting which is a quality spec home at a good price. You get what you get. They mass produce houses and you will have the occasional issue. Also certain things may or may not be included.

Cheap materials in everything cabnets the paint horrible finish work from the workers I can't even imagine the inside the walls or areas un able to see. Everything is the cheapest materials you can buy. Lennar is top leaders supposedly, so unfortunately that they use the cheapest quality and the houses are not the same price as the cheap crap they use.

Discriminatory Practices & Nightmare Loan Process – Beware!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Lennar that I feel compelled to warn others about. From the start, I faced discriminatory treatment and an unnecessarily stressful loan process that made homebuying a nightmare. Despite having strong financial qualifications, Lennar’s lending team created unreasonable obstacles, delays, and inconsistencies that felt intentional. Communication was poor, and instead of providing solutions, they made the process more difficult. Their lack of transparency and fairness was beyond frustrating. The entire Lennar team was so extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire home-buying process with us. We are first-time home buyers, and the process was overwhelming, but every person along the way- Jeff, Chris, Jennifer- made us feel so welcomed and heard. They addressed all our concerns and needs and patiently worked with us and answered all our questions. We knew this was the home for us because of how smooth they helped make the home-buying experience.
