PRETTY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MY NEW HOME WITH LENNAR, After fully trusting the company for the build quality, I've unfortunately encountered several issues that I believe should not be present in a brand new home. While minor issues can be expected, I have discovered significant problems, including water leaks and siding bumps. These are considerable concerns that have caused me and my family great deal of stress.

I recently purchased an apartment with Lennar and overall, the experience was positive. The process went smoothly, and I appreciate the professionalism of the team during the transaction. However, I do want to mention one concern. I referred a friend, Sherry, who also purchased a property through Lennar. While I was happy to receive the referral commission, unfortunately, it was issued under the wrong company name. Despite a few emails requesting a correction, the matter is still pending. I understand that mistakes happen, but I would appreciate a little more follow-up and support to resolve this properly. Terrible service, the construction team all told us to let them know directly if there were any issues but never answered calls or texts when we reached out.

Cindy was very friendly and attentive. She addressed and resolved all our concerns and was always there when we needed her. We appreciate the excellent quality of building material and appliances. We only wished the sprinkler system was included :)

My home buying for me was a great experience. I had no issues with the sales person the contractors. My realtor was very great all of the personnel that handled everything that needed to be done with my home buying was excellent. I had a few hiccups, but nothing major and it was resolved in a timely manner, I would prefer Leonard to all of my family and friends. The price of the house was excellent in my price range that I was looking for everything was just great and I am just loving my new home. I am a first time homebuyer and it was a great experience for me and I just want to thank all of Leonard’s personnel. I had very good opinion about Lennar before buying the house. After seeing process and the way it was constructed. My feeling is construction quality has reduced a lot. Also major concern is addressing the identified issues. The team is closing the issues with out properly addressing which is not fair.

Ideal space for empty nesters or young couple . Well thought layout and modern appliances . Could have done better with storage /closet space in rooms but overall a good buy

It was a pleasant purchase and move in. Max, Jake, Elaine, and everyone else were all terrific.

Overall, I had a good experience with Lennar. However, I felt like I was just a number. This was also my first time ever purchasing a home. So nothing felt personable or anything. Because Lennar is such a large builder and they have so many clients, I felt like a a dollar sign to them. The financing and sales people have this demeanor about them thats like okay, we just want the money. We dont care if you are having any anxiety about anything. We wont be lenient to your feelings about making probably the largest purchase of your life. We just dont care cause we got others who are willing to buy. I had the worst closing experience ever as well. Since I was a first timer, I felt like things werent readily explained to me either. Like I received an email saying that I owed more money than I already paid. I also was told to be at closing at a particular time and that I HAD to be on time because they had others that were closing as well. I asked if I coukd schedule my closing for later in the day and I was told No i couldnt because they has SOO many people closing. I got there about 20 minutes early, took time off work and then waited for over an hour to sign documents, even though I was told to be on time, but yet my papers were not. So, again, I just felt like a number lost in the system. I am glad I have a new home and I love it, but everything I went through trying to get it just put me off Lennar. ... More

Austin is the best! He served us exceptionally and he helped us in so many way!

Our Lennar was a good value for the size of the home we go in the price range we wanted. The buying process was smooth, other than the lending side. We were given the Lennar lender, and we submitted the paperwork, but didn't like the payments. Our Lennar consultant suggested another approved lender who was amazing and got us a CalHFA loan with better payments and rate. After this, the Lennar lender reached out with a better loan offer but couldn't beat the approved lender. Then attempted to send us a Lennar loan document tying us to her after we said we weren't going with them. I did not like Lennar Lending's lack of transparency. Lincoln, during the walk through was amazing and gave full descriptions of how to use all the features of the house as well as the things that will be fixed. All items were taken care of by the move-in date, and keys were received early. Lennar's build quality has a little to be desired, and the fit and finish have a little to be desired, but for our first home and in the price range we wanted, it was hard to beat. Houses in the same price range were 400-600 square feet smaller. ... More

The beginning of the experience was great. The sales team was helpful and understanding. Couldn't rate that part of the process higher. Much of the process was done online, which I didn't like. I have bought several houses in my life and the online experience was confusing and upsetting. What I assume is your idea of simplifying the process, only made it more confusing to us. We were inundated with emails, many of which required different ways of accessing the information. An in person option would have been very much appreciated. Not all of us are 25, yet we seem to have most of the $$$. I don't see that you are doing much to make this process easier by using our phones and/or computers. ... More

The lender department was incredible! The worked quickly with underwriting to get us into our new home and had amazing communication! Thank you to Kelsey and team for all the hard work!!! As for the house it’s pretty good we moved from a new build DR Horton and the quality is better for the most part. Our new house has solar panels and we closed on 2/28 and we still have not heard when they will be turned on so we are currently paying a full electric bill as well as a monthly rate for the panels so they are basically just a decoration at this point which is frustrating. As far as the hardware and finishes inside the home they are nothing special the countertops are a 1/2 inch thick quartz and the lights, shower heads and all other accessories are cheap and needed to be changed out as soon as we moved in. The battery in some of the smoke detectors were dead within a month on moving in as well again not a big deal but a small annoyance. Overall the house is nice and I have no major complaints aside from the solar or lack there of at this point. ... More

Lennar homes gives you a blank slate to finish your home the way you want to. You get a great house for a good price. They exceeded my expectation on the walk through punch list and their employees are very knowledgeable and respectful. Our final walk through was with Corey, she was very informative and helpful with all of our questions and issues. The value and quality was on par with what you pay for. I would reccomend thier product to friends and family.

Overall was very good, but responsiveness to issues was pretty slow.

No TV No Mail No Internet. Been almost 2 months, I Would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

I am pleased with the quality of the home for the price I paid. I have had a few issues and they have been quick to respond. However, Lennar mortgage and Lennar title were awful! Mortgage company messed up loan, blamed me, threatened me and delayed closing. Cost me extra to close. The title company did not send the homeowner's insurance payment (which I paid to them in closing) to the insurance company for over a month. I had to pay the insurance company and wait for them to receive payment before I got reimbursed.

The whole process was smooth. Wasn’t a hard pitch at all. Homes are made with the lowest grade quality though. Already need to do some basic renovations which is a disappointment. But other than that everyone is super nice and pretty responsive.

Courtney made our experience exceptional. Our home is everything we have dreamed of! Could not have asked for a better experience.

We had a great sales person, Todd. He went out of his way to make sure we planned the home we wanted, even last minute changes. He was always pleasant and upbeat. Thanks Todd for making this experience a great one.
