Worst experience ever. Completely unresponsive to any question we had. The minute we signed the agreement to purchase and sent over the deposit it was all down hill and a horrible experience. Buying are first home was suppose to be a memorable happy experience and all I have is frustration and buyers remorse because how bad the customer service was. 100% will not recommend buying a new Lennar home to anyone.

The Homebuying experience was terrible specially the financial approval process. IWe had a lot of issues with the loan process . We put 2/3 for downpayment and we really thought that was enough. The questioning of where we got our funds for downpayment to money paid on our debt even with records we provided were not enough. I was ok until I woke up one morning and my sliding glass door was physically open. I was ok until a construction worker used his code to open my front door and I had to run in terror to the door when I saw he was about to step into my house. I was told the builder code was removed on the day of closing. It was well over a month later when the worker walked into my house. My experience with Lennar has been frustrating and disappointing. There has been a lack of transparency and poor communication throughout the home-buying process. Aubry, the lender, failed to clearly explain unexpected increases in the purchase price and closing costs, and I was not informed when my loan was placed in suspension, causing unnecessary delays and stress. I was so excited to buy a Lennar home, but the escrow experience was horrible. I dealt with unresponsive escrow people, even calling the Homebuyer Concierge rep and never getting any follow up contact, which begs the question as to what kind of concierge services do they provide. The only thing they seemed interested in was getting their money. Plus, there were offers made that we never completed.

My home is brand new! You did not treat for roaches spiders. You left my front door open over night and I am still dealing with all the bugs in my house. Very bad communication and lengthy warranty claims

I got sold a pretty affordable home. I had to put in a warranty claim to fix the floors and it’s been almost two months as of writing this review and it’s still not done. I’ve attempted to get a hold of people from Lennar all the way up to the CEO and have had little to no communication. They closed the warranty ticket over a month ago while I’m still waiting on a flooring company to come and rip out all the LVP flooring and replace it. Process at the beginning feels like a dream come true. After 40 days and 3 days before my closing, the nightmare starts. Lennar mortgage denied my application,n and they even care to ask for supporting documentation and anything regarding the denial, I tried to cancel everything with that denial, but Lennar insisted that it was not possible because 30 days had already passed by. My experience from start to end was worst. Lost of lying from different Lennar Reps in terms of what they are telling verbally and cheating with signed doc. Hiding lot of details from customer up front. I made sure to convey my experience with my community who are heavy in investment in real estate to beware from scamming Lennar with all proofs I had. They made us jump hurdles, i.e. requested my wife to get a letter from management at current employer only to find out we couldn't use it and she was basically forced to get a job within 2 weeks in a new state. Lennar mortgage is one of the worst lender to deal with.

Lennar Sales’s agent is good. But, Lennar mortgage is one of the worst team to deal with. Not at all happy with their service and they are not helping customer. Because of their lack of last minute changes, have to spend 5k extra for loan points. I never recommend Lennar mortgage to anyone.

Confusing, cumbersome, exhausting finance & closing process

I purchased a new Lennar home and used Lennar finance/closing company. During the process I was required to register 3 seperate portals; building, finance and closing. During the process I recieved over 200 emails from Lennar employees. I have purchased several homes in the past and have never experienced this lack of communication/confusion that I did between Lennar employees. There is no reason company of this size can not streamline their process and make it more simplistic for the customer. I would never use Lennar finance/closing company again.

The unit would be more valuable and flexible if it had 2 feet more width and depth. The garage is too small for the average car. Doors to narrow for multiple passing and closing without interference of some kind. Doors to narrow 28" throughout. 4-5 doors would have been better as Sliding doors.

Horrible communication with all parties involved with Lennar. Lennar agent saw us show up with our realtor and advised us last minute that we would not be able to use him. We were pretty much on our own throughout the whole process.

Our experience was horrible was not told all info up front about fees and wasn’t told that any water that being used for lawn is considered water going into sewer which it’s not they should of put 2 water meters on . Al door to basement is to small should have been a 36in door so you can get things down there it’s a 36in stairwell. So we lose 1/3 of our house because doorway to small. Not a good experience at all I was charged for things starting sept 3 and we did not settle till sept 11

I think we had the worst experience with the Lennar team, from sales to concierge. Once you sign the initial contract, the sales team acted as if they don't know us. We tried to contact them a couple of times regarding the change in closing date from what was initially confirmed and there was absolutely no response from them. My home buying process (1st time) was traumatizing. I was so excited at first but Ronnie was a huge bully and Jody was very condescending. Everything was rushed I had no time to think or weigh my options on anything . Ronnie made the experience the worse she was so rude and pushy.
