I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

We love the home. There were a few things that you wouldn't expect in a new home, most were fixed quickly but if Lennar did a final quality check they would have been caught and our experience would have been better. We still have two issues which haven't been fixed after 8 weeks. They are not quick fixes but are material. So slightly disappointed.

Not a fan of materials used in any part of the home. The paint/ and workmanship was awful.

Home bugging and lot selections were all quick and easy to understand. We received brief updates and pictures on a weekly basis. Constructing prices was quicker than usual. Closing was easy. For anyone choosing to build, Please inspect carefully. Materials may not be the best of quality nor sturdy.

Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

I purchased a model home. I had a fast close (Lennar wanted closing on 8/31). When I moved in, I didn't have a driveway and my front landscape was a mess and unfinished. They needed to fix a drain on my curb which delayed the driveway to not be complete until the end of September and it is now the middle of October and I need sod in my front yard and finishing touches around the driveway. I have also had issues getting my Ring home security system set up- it was already installed for the model home, but still having difficulty with it. Home comes with a good amount of damage, then they claim it’s not under lennar warranty

Bought new home. Overall happy with home, but things to be aware of. 1. AC system was undersized by 1 Ton. Took a month to get someone to acknowledge, believe and do something about. 2. Yard wasnt levled and prepared correctly. One whole back corner wasnt cut down and mowed until days before close. It is a sinkhole now, waiting for this to be fixed almost 2 months after close. 3. Attic insulation was shorted by 4"-6" - how is this missed at inspections? 4. Quality of some items is less than builder grade 5. Neighborhood warranty person is great, they have to fight upstream against company to get things done right House was a good price and value, but these items should in no way have been missed at multiple inspections. Once moved in noticed a few things that needed to be touched up reached out and still haven’t heard back. Blessed to have a new home for my family and I but would love a call back to get things touched up that was promised if we needed anything.

The quality of the materials such as running boards, window screens, especially paints is very poor quality.

The quality of the home is very poor compared to my last home which was built by Richmond. There are cracks in the garage and basement. The appliance quality is not good. One of the windows in the closet is overlaid with drywall. I didn't even know that window existed. I would strongly suggest Lennar not make money off customers by making them pay/lease for the solar systems. I had a bigger solar system in my old home and I paid for half the price that Lennar/Sunnova is charging us. Please, please don't profit from us in the name of the environment. We will bet better solar panels at half the price. They didn't even put rough in the basement just to save a few hundred bucks (it will cost the homeowner thousands of dollars if they decide to finish their basement). ... More

Make sure everything is in order and done before you move in. Pay attention during the walkthrough. Once you move in, it’s difficult to get them to come back to fix anything.

Poor workmanship in some areas. Very slow responding to issues

It was a fairly easy experience to buy a new home from Lennar. The whole process was great and very pleasant. After you buy they have not responded to issues, I had to resort to calling the installers to fix issues like flooding in the yard. In addition, I entered multiple service requests and have not received any communications from Lennar.

I honestly wish that I was giving a better review, but I haven’t had the most pleasant Closing on my home. The closing process went pretty smoothly but I’ve been running into issue after issue after moving into this house. It does on some things, and things were overlooked on inspection, which does not make me the most comfortable because it makes me question what else was overlooked or rushed. I’ll be honest and say that I’m not sure I would go with this builder again and I don’t know what things can be done to fix the continuous inconveniences I’ve had.

I wish the experience I started with at the model homes with Brandon lasted with the construction team. The buying experience was great, the construction team has a lot of work to do. When I moved in the house was so dirty, items were still not finished and 6 weeks later still not finished. Quality of carpet is so bad.....just leave it as wood and let the home owner install their own. The amount of settlement and the horrible condition of the cement work is a joke. You really need to pay a real company to start installing your walkways, porches and driveways. In the long run you would actually save money. ... More

We preferred a Lennar home, but did not have a very good experience.

Try to resolve issues with cut corners on maintenance. My sink faucet is leaking and water comes down in closet, and every time different people comes and explain that when you clean sink, water supposed not go behind faucet. So I have to keep towel all the times behind the faucet. I never heard like that. I was owning the home earlier and I used to clean bathrooms and I never seen water under the closet. The faucet gasket has to be sealed and leak free.

The experience up to the point of sale was good. Build quality was average at best and poor in several areas - electrical sockets were not flush to the wall with a visible gap, corners overlapped and no effort to fix, broken counter top slab was still used and too late to fix, AC filter was shoved incorrectly causing issues. Customer service post sale was poor to average - you can raise tickets but no way to follow up or even know what ticket was submitted(if you raised many), they ask to sign off with just a request number with no clue on what it refers too, no ETA on fixes, no way to track requests. No way to upload pictures with issues and report on after fixes. ... More

The first home we were purchasing there was a mistake on the paperwork and they wouldn’t do anything about it. So we lost the house and they were nice enough to transfer our money to the new home but they failed to tell us that the property was not level and only that it was a little larger and that they would not do anything about it. Then when we had the first walk through we told them about some items and they told us they would have them fixed by the time the final inspection was complete but they lied about it and told us they had them fixed and or replaced but they lied to us again. Know that we are in the house and we have some issues they said they would fix them and they made an appointment but no one showed up and they were checking on them. ... More

Not real thrilled with the responsiveness of addressing issues that came up AFTER we closed. Still waiting on several items 6 weeks later…

Initial times Lennar Sales person and Lennar Mortgage were very polite and professional. But later both of them were pressurizing to close the Home buying even though many of the activities are pending and some of the closure credit was changed at the last minute.

Lennar has a solid but average process and quality. I have purchased a few homes in the last few years and they don't do anything to set themselves apart and have some questionable procedures that really need to be updated.

We purchased our current home from California. It was a fairly smooth process and going through the financial was great. We had a great sales person. However, the quality of home was not what we expected. I would say for the most part, the tile setters were the worst. I have never seen tile layed so poorly with very uneven lines in the grout.The grout was messed up; different colors everywhere. Kind of embarrassing when I have somebody come to my house. I felt like I was looking at floors that were installed by people that had done it for the first time. Everything was very dirty especially the floor. The windows were very dirty and smudged and the backyard was not cleaned up at all. ... More

I always liked Lennar, but I see now the poor workmanship that we as new owner have to go through because the sub contractor get away with poor work standards. I have to submit warranty work for basic construction work example kitchen cabinets not leveled properly, rain gutters pitch towards the house and not to the down spout, paint on window frames and screens. MY BRAND NEW TUB big chunk missing and scratches because the subcontractors had cement all over the tub during construction with no protection. FYI I can only pray they taped all of the joints especially in the showers corners.. Lennar big message to you time to hold subcontractor responsible for doing poor work, charge them for all of the work and if you want to meet with me (I’m talking to the CEO and big bosses) Please contact me so i can show you what’s happening in the field. BTW my cabinets are schedule to be repaired in late August (I bought the house late February) and my tub repair is scheduled for August 1,2023.
