Dead Palm

Builder planted a dead palm that never grew one new leaf in 4 months and refuses to replace it. Horrible business on behalf of the warranty department. I understand that trees and plants are not USUALLY covered under warranty but when builder puts in a tree that NEVER TOOK, they should replace it.

Couldn’t be happier with our neighbors but be very careful and cautious when dealing with Lennar. Have your “I’d” dotted and “t’s” crosses with EVERYTHING!! Make sure to get it in writing because they will change their stories in everything that they verbalize to you

Knowing and seeing the problems and the quality of this house right now, I will not buy another Lennar home. Appears that house was built rushed and built poorly. Did not meet the standard I was expecting for a brand new home.

Don't Buy a House From Lennar

First off and let me say that is review is just a summary of the problems. Lennar forgot to finished installing the proper parts for the heater so when my family and I decided to run the heat, it didn’t work The AC had to be fixed 3 times since moving in and I’ve only been in the house for 6 months. Tile crack The glaze on the tile in the shower is pealing. Their contractors that do work on the homes never show up on time or they decide to show up when ever they want. When we first bought our home in May of 2019, we were told we did not need flood insurance because the area wasn’t a flood zone area, fast forward to Sep 2019 with tropical storm imelda, we were under water! Love the home, hate the process

We have now been in our new home for 4 months. The home buying process with the sales staff was a nightmare. We have had similar experience with the home warranty staff. Claims have been submitted but many have not been fulfilled. We love the home, we love the area, but we wish more care would have been put into our home and the building process.

Horrible Experience

I’m still waiting for repairs to be completed from my closing over four months ago. In addition I’m in the middle of fighting tooth and nail to get someone out to repair a roof leak that has caused extensive water damage and now black mold which has rendered three rooms in my house unable to be used. My kids are crammed into other rooms now. I’ve documented everything and even called management multiple times with now follow up. The entire process has been horrendous as a first time home buyer.

The workmanship was poor at best, the sales staff and closing were a disaster, the follow up with repairs has been, let's just say a nightmare. Some things still are not fixed and if I had to guess are not going to get fixed unless I pay for someone to fix them. Everything included does not mean everything... but they fail to tell you what normal things are not included. I am afraid to see what is going t happen to this house in say 5 years, I think most mobile homes are constructed better.

Horrible repair and maintenance

1) Lawn was horrible at the time of closing. After 1 that I was told that it was layed months back without any property maintainanice. Due to this I have pay the expenses to replace it. 2) Restroom and others have issues 3) newly installed fridge needs repair Overall not happy of getting a brand new house and get these issues frequently

First and LAST Lennar home

Too many imperfections caused by fast and sloppy workmanship. The entire process is rushed from start to finish. Everywhere I look I find issues with finishing touches. We just moved in and we're already thinking about selling.

After moving in(Rise at Legacy hills,Celina), I quickly noticed several issues caused by poor-quality materials and workmanship. Lennar even planted a dead plant, which they refused to cover under warranty. I reported it within a week, but they still placed the responsibility on me as the homeowner. In the bathroom, the caulking was not done properly, leading to water leakage from the faucet within the first week, yet they insisted this was a homeowner maintenance issue. Several pending issue dragged on to fix. A few of the issues were made seem like it was supposed to be like that. Example carpet loose next to point where carpet ends and tiles lead to bathroom. Unpleasant experience overall. Felt very rushed and like all Lennar staff was too busy to take a second and explain the home buying process to me. Lots of unanswered questions and just neglect as a customer in general. Maintenance warranty requests take a while. Ronaldo is someone who stands out as he was extremely condescending and unhelpful.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We were so excited to buy our first home. The price was right! The sales agent was very attentive. We were pre-approved and ready to get the process started. We paid our escrow and were committed. Construction, walk through, finance… terrible experience. The amount of times I have had to reach out to the warranty dept is embarrassing. Although this warranty team is great- why are they repairing things on a new home? Finance team, construction team manager…. Need to do better.

Worst buying experience

By far the most frustrating experience of a lifetime. All my financial records I submitted somehow disappeared. Buying process was confusing. No loyalty to those that were on the magical list. Withholding of vital information about the lot. Poor workmanship on concrete, paint, and framing. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.
