Hubble homes has better quality and customer service than Lennar

Buying from Lennar was like being bullied into a deal. When we bought the house they shortcut a lot of things. The sub contractors were not caring at all about their craft. Lennar forced us to stick to the contract even though they were weeks behind on their work. The final walkthrough was scheduled after the closing date. They refused to budge on adjusting time frames and owning up to the work that needed to get done. By the time final walkthrough happened. They needed to touch up all the baseboards in the house and repaint/repair a lot of areas. Lennar also refused to follow specs. Not ...

Drywall work is some of the worst I’ve seen. I will have to do the repairs myself. The repairs Lennar had done are crap at best. As bad as the drywall is the painting and caulking is way worse. It took two months to get our mailbox keys. My wife called to get answers and was yelled at. This box isn’t big enough for all our complaints.

Lennar builds so cheap, finishing work absolutely horrible, rush to close to make there quarter. Not even the faucets are strait... on the other side, they have some good people that respond and work hard with their limited resources. Fantastic property, amenities and neighbors!

Just not a good experience in any way except Travis our concierge. We feel mislead and ripped off. Delays. Horrible communication. We knew Lennar is not a top builder, but we’re not expecting this? Ever heard of closing at 11P? Ever heard of a builder trying to coverup a breakin during construction? You will.

We bought a good house. However, the people who were handling the listing, loan, and closing were terrible to work with. I have bought 6 houses before and I have never seen such a mess. Never again will I buy another property from Lennar.

I feel like cheated by the front agent with the bidding process. They have made not go with the realtor stating that we would have an advantage. Later we found that it is an absolute lie. They have lied us at corporate level.

Poor supervision of Sub contractor's workmanship. Low quality hardware. Lack of hardware: No towel bars. No backing for towel bars. Careless / unnecessary damage to finished items like walls, concrete, pavers, windows, etc. while being built. I personally didn’t have a good experience at all when purchasing my home. My loan officer was fired days before my original closing date. Supposedly she didn’t upload any of my documents to my folder and I basically had to start from scratch with a new loan officer. This process pushed me back another 3 months. Houses are ok but the buying process with the builder and their relator is terrible. At a minimum if you want one of their homes get your own relatpr don't use theirs.

Two months after my closing, I haven't received my keys yet. Nobody from Lennar is capable of giving me a straight answer. I don't get why you rush the closing like crazy if you are not ready to provide me with my keys. Really disappointed at the level of service provided by Lennar. It's like there is no management at all in this company. Nobody takes any responsibility.

I was told I had to rewrite this because my first review was too strong. Our home buying experience was less than satisfying. Our salesperson, once the papers were signed, disappeared. Many emails and text messages were ignored. Not very comforting. We even recommended that a friend buy in the neighborhood. They did. Do you think it may have been nice if our salesperson reached out to us and said thank you for the referral. Of course not. We will move again for sure. But if this salesperson has anything to do with our next development, we will move on.

I could never receive an immediate answer on any issue, every reply took anywhere from 3 - 14 days. Every concern regarding the build of my home was either disregarded or denied. 3rd Party walk-through was never performed as promised. 90% of blue tape items noted as deficient were not completed and then bent over a barrel to sign-off and close or incur fees. If given a choice, I would never deal with LENNAR again, but I don't think that any other builder in this current climate would be any different or better. Customer service suck from Sales to Titles.

The Sales is like buy it or leave it attitude. Orientation guy super rude, had to complain to re- schedule. Title not smooth too, waiting in the lobby for 4 hours, no one come out say a word. Until buyer go inside asking for help. Maybe I am not a rich value buyer for them, but they won’t make a penny from me in the future.

1. Every Loan processor that was involved with our loan, whether it were a Senior Loan Processor or not, kept asking for the same documents repeatedly after they have been sent. You know what, I've typed this review out a couple of times already and at this point I'm sick of talking about it, writing about, complaining about it to people that don't seem to care. I'm now stuck with a half a million dollar home and I don't trust anything in the closed walls. Just make sure you do your research, read reviews etc for Lennar. Its the build of the home itself, the subcontractors, and whoever else worked on it and tried hiding problems that I continue to find.

My home buying experience was horrible. It started from the salesman to the loan officer. They lacked customer service skills, respect, and information. For all the trouble I went thru to purchase my home, in the end it was not worth it. So many defiencies, lack of workmanship, and the lack of responsibility. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. I wish I would have done my homework beforehand.

1. poor communication within departments; no one takes ownership; it's a pass-the-hot potato mentality. We were told.. “to sign this” with no exceptions or you can't close, with issues pending. House was dirty with bugs and spider, paint in the rugs. 2. Day one range did not work, had to wait 3 weeks to get it fix, and no one cared. 3. Electrical issues, took you 31/2 weeks to get it fixed, and you knew it was a known issue. You could care less if we had power. 4. Loan officer's poor communication had to chase the officer down to lock in my rate. 5. Would not recommend
