Unfortunately my agent did not check in with me regularly to give me updates. My closing date was pushed back 5 times. The last 2 times I was notified in less than 48 hours. The delays turned out not to be due to the supply chain issues but instead Lennar dropped the ball with city permits and permits for my gas meter. I was given the excuse that they lost construction staff in my neighborhood. When I moved in the "deep clean" was not done and several items needed work. It took about 3-4 weeks to resolve. Issues from start to finish. Deadline was off by 6 weeks, major incomplete projects after closing, NO timely responses, several points have to be deducted for quality of craftsmanship and supplies.

Lennar used pressure sales techniques - it was clear very early on in the process that it was about moving product for them - they cared very little about whether the buyer was having a positive experience. they approached each piece of the buying process as " do it now or we will just replace you with the next buyer" at one point they sent over a 45 pg document at 11;30pm on a Sunday night and expected it signed by 9am the next morning - classless, ruthless & purely profit motivated

The craftsmanship and attention to detail has been poor. Many sloppy errors and work left unfinished. Follow-up has been terrible. I am two months past closing date and nothing has been resolved. Appointments made and not fulfilled.

They will lie to your face and tell you things that won’t happen ! Tammy who we had was extremely Rude ! To us every time she called and emailed us ! They are great actors ! They pretend to care but they really don’t ! They will not be truthful about material delays etc. They just avoid you ! Not a great experience ! I went to check on our house, And one of there employees took a crap in our toilet that had no water hooked up to it And they left it in there and stuck up the whole basement ! And they got mad at me for letting them know ! Be careful dealing with this Builder !

This is a 410k house but like 100k. Nothing is even, straight, or symmetrical. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling this. Also, can we get a translator when someone comes to make touch ups or repairs? Soo far the communication is awful and they leave worse than it started and have no idea what we are saying. This entire house is a disappointment and until it’s fixed I’m recommending no one

Don't believe any closing dates or promises made that are not in writing. I understand the supply chain and labor issues but this sale, closing and quality of product received was the worst home buying experience that I've ever had and I've had more than a few.

The market is so crazy! We went to the Bonita Springs office and met with Rick - salesman - who told us that Lennar was taking bids for the remaining lots. He said that he would not be doing it that way. They had 2 lots opening soon and that he was naming the price. He said in order to be considered for the lots, we couldn’t have a realtor to represent us and that we needed to be cash buyers! A couple days later we were passed off to his coworker Susie. There are so many issues. The quality of workmanship is terrible. The response: it's a production home. Yes, I paid over $900,000 for a "production home." The pool does not work. There is a panel missing by the equipment which, once actually installed, would permit me to run the pool from the panel (also missing) inside my house. I spent nearly $250,000 to rip out the utterly ridiculous work on the inside and replace it with quality elements more appropriate for a now million dollar home 45 minutes from the coast. The overall experience was terrible I had to wait 19 months since I started my first payment and when we closed there was lost of items incomplete, not a good way to do business, we work hard to earn our dollars and we were treated poorly, craftsmanship bad, not a quality control system, lots of imperfections across the all house.

After living in the home for a week, you start to notice the cheap materials use and terrible workmanship. All of our knobs had tiny paint splatter, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - not even once (we have a toddler running around), dried paint can be found throughout the home, nails still protruding out through the carpet to name a few issues. Overall terrible experience, we felt rushed through our new home orientation and caught what we can.

Lennar does, under no circumstances, care about its buyers. They knowingly (construction manager admitted it) cut corners to get homes done in time. They then fail repeatedly to schedule contractors to fix the cut corners. Sales is an entirely different nightmare.
