Documentation team is not good. Documents wrong. Changed more than 10 times. People doingteh transaction are outsourced - it is obvious. Poor quality.

Lennar was great to work with and I’m glad to have bought my house from them rather than a resale which was an alternative. Each step involved a different contact and each was positive. There was a great deal of paperwork which at times was a little challenging but overall, a very positive experience.

Poor communication when I need something. When they want something from your lender or attorney, they are all over it. When it's time to do anything, they literally dictate and bully you on what they want done zero flexibility. The Lennar chosen title company is unresponsive and literally does not care about there "captured" business no risk of losing so why do anything to make the buyer happy. Any issues with the home are treated the same way anything Lennar can do to not help the buyer they will do.

I’d paid 240,000 dollars for a home id expect a lawn to be finished. But no, Lennar only does half the lawn. It’s a bit ridiculous to be honest. On top of that the grass installed was installed dead. Nicks, dents and holes throughout the house.(partially on me though for not hiring my own inspector) Electrical issues from the jump. If you go with Lennar make sure your around for the whole project or just avoid it. The HOA is nice. The locations nice. Lennar…Ehh.

Sales in my opinion very poor. Was handed a list of homes and a house key and told go check them out and let me know if you want one. Construction purchased a finished inventory home. I walked the home 2weeks prior to my official walk thru and made a list of punch items. I gave this list to sales requesting it to be given to the construction team. The day of the walk thru none of the items had been addressed. Closing had to be moved 3 or 4 times. Had to reschedule movers twice, and they simply just didn't care. The buying experience was easy. We got the floorplan we wanted at a great price. We found issues, but our customer rep handled everything and all were resolved. The biggest issue is the shoddy work by the electrical contractor. Boxes are poorly fitted in the walls, plugs wont fit in switches, and they stick out from the sheetrock at angles so the plates stick out from the walls. We have been trying to adjust them as we paint.

Home built poorly and cheap they are just out yo make a quick buck. Mo one tells you anything or explains things to you. Will never purchase a Lennar home again.

My experience was the worst probably in this community. I started off renting first. When I was renting I had an excellent experience in the community so I decided to start the process of buying. As I was looking around to different communities my husband wanted to stay in the same community we currently were looking into. He talked to the woman in the front office to see if or what we can do. She gave him a number to a man named Oliver. Oliver contacted and started the process. We put the earnest money down and just did what we were supposed to do as buyers. I put my 60 days notice into the rental company. Anticipating that since we had the go that we were clear to move. We did the celebration and it came down to the closing day and in the morning of the closing day Oliver called upset and told us we were denied due to 2 hours on my pay check. (It was short due to the holiday time, I had no PTO because I just started working as a nurse) I was devastated. My husband contacted the agents boss and they referred us to another company. At this point, I was just going to rent. The funny thing is I found a renter that was going to rent the same house that I was going to buy. So a man named Stephen contacted me from another lender. I told him what happened and that I was not convinced that he can get me approved. His exact words "I understand that you had a horrible experience, give me 3 days and if I don't get you approved you can go and rent"....3 days come I get the call that I was approved. With me being still distraught. I still was not convinced, because we were denied the day of the closing. Stephen knew. He still wanted to prove to me that he was able to do what he promised. I handed in the same documents that I did to Oliver. I went to my closing within 2 weeks. I thank Stephen and the NorthStar team for getting us approved. Now the reason why I gave a 1 star for "Overall home buying experience". I felt like 2 certain people in the office NOT Tiona (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong) was intentionally trying not to give us this house. The sad part about it is that out of all of the same houses they built they continuously showed the house to others and allowed them to go in there with there shoes on during bad weather. (Mind you I rented a house right behind the home we were buying.) So we seen everything. They could of shown the home across the street to it. But they didn't! I even requested if the people they shown the house too could put on shoe covers. Never happened. The reason why I put a 2 stars for "Quality of workmanship and materials" you don't see the quality of the home until after you move into it. I will put the best I can to make it mine but the home was put up fast and there are little issues that we have been taking pictures and recording. The drywall is coming apart like buckling, the was does not come out of the showers, the caulking is half done. Carpet was dirty. Blinds was not put up right to where it would turn all of the way. When we moved in the next day I go outside someone intentionally stomped my pretty bushes over. They are completely damaged. I was so upset. So I am in the process to replace them within the next few weeks and putting up security cameras. Lots more. Trustworthiness is a 1 star because they promised to do things that still weren't done. The value for the price paid. I gave a 4 star only because this is what the house was appraised at. I feel that after looking at other communities in the same price range they are more valuable. Although, I like my home. I was just turned off from the entire experience with Lennar. The reason why I put a 1 star the the "Responsiveness to issues, is because EVERYTIME I would ask for something I felt like a black sheep of the community. I am the ONLY owner that does NOT have that cute little "Private Residence sign" the most hurtful part to this is when I asked Tiona. She told me to come and get it from the office. I sent my son and the other agent in the office told him she had no sticks to the sign, so he came home and said that she said that she will bring it tomorrow. The most hurtful part is the next day I come home "ALL" of the new owners on the street (8 people) had their little "Private Residents Sign" on their yard and they are not even moved in yet. So my husband went and bought me two black signs to make me feel better. He tried but again it does not feel the same. :( I am going to put this review on every platform. I initially didn’t have any issues however when it came time to move in my house had not been cleaned and the builders left mud, trash, dirt, and urine stains in the home. My sales rep assigned to me left all my texts and emails unanswered about this issue and some other questions I had. It wasn’t until my realtor got involved that they began responding to me. They sent a cleaning crew in a few days after I had moved in who were here for a maximum of 10 minutes and did not clean up all of the mess that was still here. I ended up having to clean up the mess of the builders and pick up all the trash left behind myself. I’m happy I have a house but I’m very disappointed in the way I was taken care of by Lennar ... Poor communication during home buying and than nothing after. But in a claim because piping is backwards and nit up to code, so instead of fixing the issue correctly. Lennar wants to take a short cut which will affect my whole hot water throu out my house.

The overall process is lack of consideration from customers interest. Bad loan processes, so-so home quality, and after purchase support is not caring

Our home-buying experience has been somewhat disappointing. While we were excited to move into a new home, the overall build quality feels inexpensive, with materials that seem below par. We’ve encountered multiple issues, including fixtures coming loose—something that shouldn’t happen in a brand-new house. On the positive side, they do offer a courtesy paint and drywall touch-up, which is appreciated. Their responsiveness to issues has been okay, but not great. Good team of people but worst quality of fence they have installed In backyard

We chose a great realtor who guided us through the home buying process. We are happy with our purchase with Lennar.

Better explanation of the process and communication with customer will help a lot. Most times we were not not sure what’s going.

I had a great experience with the purchase of this home.

The house was built with high quality, and the warrantee service team provides excellent service to take care of even every small issues.

Buying with Lennar was a pretty straight straightforward and easy process to go through. There are multiple people that walk you through the home buying experience if it is your first time. Waiting for the house to be built is probably the most exciting part. The only slight problems I’ve had with the house are cosmetic things such as the baseboards not being all the way flush to the ground, which I was explained that the foundation isn’t always going to be 100% flat, a lot of loose doorknobs, sliding glass door frame not being installed correctly, doors being slight slanted instead of flush with the door frame, snd several paint discrepancies. The doors are a little bit cheaper quality due to them being hollow core doors so you can hear a lot of things within the house. The only solid core doors are the door leading to the garage and the front door. It seems like a lot of the little things that I found during my quality control inspection were overlooked during the building process. I understand. My house was built in only three months however, I never thought that should be an excuse for poor quality control and rushed building for the price that I paid for this house. I would have liked to know before I bought the house that there were so many things that needed constant attention in the house and that we would be required to keep our cars in the garage.

Low quality homes. Lennar accepted third party inspection so we did. The inspection report is up to 50 pages but Lennar didn't fix any of them. We moved in with a house of hundreds of issues. We have been filing claims with the first year warranty every week since we the closing date. Lennar rejected some warranty requests out of no reason, and their customer care representative never answers the phone call. Don't choose Lennar in WA.

I would not recommend buying a home from Lennar. The materials used in their construction are extremely cheap, resulting in numerous issues that they refuse to fix. Poorly finished walls due to defective materials. If you're looking for a high-quality, well-built home, I strongly suggest exploring other builders.

Lennar home purchase experience was good. However, the quality of material and the workmanship is sub par. There is clear evidence that Lennar has tried to cut cost to sell homes for cheap and new homeowners would have to bear that cost. For example, in our home in the backyard the there is a big dirt pile incline by the fence that reduces the RV park space and furthermore I will have to pay thousands of dollars to build retaining wall there. Similarly the quality of paint in the house seems low quality,

I would like to share my recent experience regarding the quality of construction by Lennar, particularly in the Arden community. After purchasing a $1 million home, I conducted a thorough personal inspection with angel home inspection and what they found was several significant issues that raised concerns about the overall quality of construction. My experience the same with my previous home in Parkland, Florida, where I encountered more problems. It appears that in recent years, Lennar's focus on rapid development has compromised their commitment to quality assurance and the materials used in their homes. Unfortunately, I encountered multiple issues that were not merely minor in nature, leading me to question the durability and craftsmanship of their properties. Based on my experience, I would advise potential buyers to consider alternatives such as GL Homes or Toll Brothers, which I believe offer superior quality. Missy, our Lennar sales agent, has been absolutely fantastic. Her support throughout the home-buying process—and even after the purchase—has been exceptional. She’s been nothing short of 100%, A+ in working with her. That said, there were challenges outside of Missy’s control that have been disappointing in working with Lennar CS. We've encountered some issues with the quality of the construction. For instance, the vent fans (stove and bathroom) in the house seem to be a common problem, as confirmed by conversations with neighbors. They make a very loud clanking noise even with the slightest wind. Unfortunately, when we requested Lennar to investigate and resolve this, our request was denied. We’ll need to explore other solutions since the noise is often unbearable, especially when trying to sleep or work. Additionally, the exterior walls are notably thin. In one of the bedrooms, I can hear neighbors through the exterior wall as though they were only a few feet away. Also have experienced nails protruding through the carpet that is not normal (not carpet strips to hold the carpet in place) - the request to have looked at was also denied. The windows have some gunk or even damage to them - scuff marks. Lennar did agree to send out professional window cleaners to see if anything can be done. Also had a downstairs bathroom sink that has a preexisting big 'ole chip broken at the drain. They are sending someone to take a look at it also. Overall, everyone has been pleasant face-to-face, but struggling to get some help on areas that you wouldn't think would be an issue in an expensive home. Appliances work great though. ... More
