Lennar is the only affordable builder in San Antonio and they take advantage of that distinction. Lowest quality builder grade materials are used. Construction manager lied three different times that issues identified by third-party inspector were resolved. Later, he couldn't distinguish between main water line or hot/cold water lines. Internet service is mandatory so that builder receives a kickback for every new buyer and it is NOT included in your HOA fees. There is an additional monthly charge. HOA received over $1,000 in closing documents even though no one could explain the ...

This is our third brand new home and we’ve been consistently disappointed with the quality of the Lennar home. Cheap carpet, no handles on any cabinets, dirty when we moved in, cabinets hung so high that the top shelves are unreachable (we’ve never had cabinets that were placed so oddly high), extremely loud furnace in the middle of the home. Zero stars. Disappointed buyer.

Terrible Builder!!! You are just a number. Changed finish products without notification. Used more inexpensive and cheaper materials. Numerous examples; 2 foot on center studs in house not 16”, very shorty workmanship. No cold water due to water for complex coming from water tank on mountain, not disclosed! Endless issues. Would NOT recommend Lennar to anyone!

Had A completely terrible experience due to Moving in 2 Months ahead before I ever even had grass installed. Terrible as far as overall Experience Definitely Started out with a great Experience until I moved in then it was like you purchased we no longer care about you. There's A bunch of Minor things we noticed wrong as time passed, But doesn't matter I already paid. The entire process was negative. The salesperson was clueless. The loan officers were unprofessional. The construction manager was helpful. The title person would not return my call. She gave me the wrong cost to closing. I can not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Worst Homebuying Experience with Lennar – A Total Nightmare

Buying with Lennar has been an absolute nightmare. There have been so many issues, I don’t even know where to begin. On my initial walk-through, I found over 30+ issues. By the second walk-through (which they scheduled the same day as closing), many items were still not completed. On closing day, I had a notary scheduled at my home at 12pm. Probably the worst home buying experience we have ever had. The lack of communication between the sales, title, mortgage, and construction team is unbelievable. The property we originally had under contract was advertised on their website with a set of finish selections, which we were told were incorrect by the time we received the contract. Lots of issues. Poor craftsmanship and design. Took us many times of requests to simply fix a door handle. Lots of things are not covered. Windows are scratched up and they won’t take responsibility. Gas was leaking the day we moved in. Dishwasher was dented. Rep said she would replace but later we found that order was never placed. We need to keep following up. They also are being cheap and always try to omit simple, essential items, even if it’s visible (imagine if things are hidden, what would happen). Building houses too fast poor quality

My experience hasn’t been good at all. The builders are building homes too fast and the quality is just too cheap. Overall floors are not level and when I report that there’s noise on my floor that they charge me for to install. They tell me it’s normal landscaping you get no warranty and you step on your grass and start sinking Overall I just think you guys are building houses with the cheapest of the cheapest and the price is not right I’m sorry to be the one to tell you guys this but this is just how I feel.

Horrible customer service with zero help.

Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

I was unable to close on the home I originally had built due to the home not being completed on time and several building issues including but not limited to water damage in every room and a large crack in the foundation that extended across the garage floor. I had to closed on a different home which I am now finding issues with.

This is the WORST house purchase I have experienced. This is a DIY loan and home purchase. There is NO personal contact - everything is done with text, email & e-docs. I was scheduled to close on Dec 9 but because the title wasn’t transferred I closed on Dec 23rd and I was not compensated for all my expenses I paid.
