Very dissatisfied with the home, paid over $600K and having to do a lot of things to get it to the way we want it, cheap cabinets, plain counter tops, all white, no color, no towel racks or medicine cabinets! A shell of a home!! I wish I would have not purchased this tome

Run far away. Lennar uses subpar materials and even poorer contractors. So many problems with our new house. And when you call they just lie and deflect. Horrible company. Horrible customer service. The worst experience possible. Buy anything else.

This has been tiresome and disappointing all the way around from beginning to end. The salesperson misled us on when amenities would be completed, the unit wasn't finished even though we traveled a great distance for our closing & to move in, no one ever reached out to say it was delayed. Even after we moved in the work wasn't completed and was shoddy. In just 2 months we've had to constantly get into touch with them for issues (referred to warranty) and schedule workers to come. From beginning to end, this home-buying experience has been a nightmare. The salesman was unresponsive to our issue with an unfinished garage wall. The Title Company used by the builder was also responsive to our requests to meet in person for the purchase agreement signing. Worst of all, they recorded the WRONG names with the county. Highly recommend being involved throughout the build, any corner to be cut will be cut by builder. Shady operation with lowest quality materials, paint, cabinets, flooring etc. Expect to be stone walled. Highly recommend hiring an inspector before closing. They will not let you on the roof to inspect roofing until after closing and this is a no drone zone. We are first time home buyers and were drawn in by Lennars "easy home buying process" and "everything included". The entire process was a nightmare (minus our amazing sells rep Heather and Warranty/Construction rep Brett). You are 100% just a number to this corporation and they do not care about you, your family or the investment you're making. The home consultant used predatory methods to rush me into making a decision to sign a purchase agreement. He was also unprofessional with his communication and didn’t upload the information into my portal that I needed for this to be a smooth process after settlement. I went through different models and they all had white cabinets. I was told I was getting white cabinets, got gray. Was told to bad, you signed the contract. This is what you get, there are no options. Was told if I wanted a custom build, I had to go to a custom builder. I moved in and was trying to get cable hooked up, which is part of the HOA and there was a problem. I spent all day leaving messages and not once was called back. Purchased home for $281,000 supposedly on a deal. 6 days after we closed Lennar drops prices on identical house to $271,000. This is stealing from a customer. Spoke to Greg the salesman and he said there is nothing he can do. I felt like i was dealing with a car salesman. Will never purchase from Lennar again and ive told all friends, family, neighbors, and anyone i come across to never ever purchase from Lennar.

Bad craftsmanship and visible cracks in foundation to both sides of the home

If I could give MORE then ZERO stars to Lennar it would not be enough. Working with Lennar Homes was absolutely HORRIBLE from the very start. I will NEVER EVER recommend. Workmanship is horrible for the price we paid. Lennar took away the so called wonderful home buying experience which we will never get. Thanks Lennar for DESTROYING our dream, be proud of yourself.

My biggest issue was the low skill level of sub contractors with paint and chalking of trim. Over paint on door hinges was ridiculous! The chalking was applied in a haphazardly method Low quality level of appliances, especially washer/dryer and dishwasher! Issues presented were not attended to by construction manager. I literally had to chase him down around the development! Overall, it was a very poor experience.

My Lennar loan officer was not trustworthy or responsive. He didn’t respond to several voicemail over a 4 week period and it cost me .25% on my rate. He claimed to not remember how much money I had for a down payment. This was discussed in our initial call & multiple times thereafter. Months in they pushed closing date and made no progress for more than 6weeks on walk through we had holes in wall no fridge door no molding closet doors still not hung, tile missing grout, walls and ceiling was bowed…36 problems noted. Now the second walk through was much netter but we still had issues with promise to return as well as covering expenses for an extended stay in hotel due to first walk through and we are now almost two months in and no word.

I went with Lennar because I was under the impression it was a reputable company. The mortgage department is extremely unorganized causing a lot of unnecessary time, work, and stress. At closing, the end of June, there was a list of items still not complete. I was promised the items would be promptly addressed. As of today, 8/23, not one item has been taking care of. Would not recommend Lennar.

Please, please check Lennars review before buying!!! By far WORST experience ever. Bunch of idiots working there! Workmanship BAD! Very bad! Walls crooked, not responding to work requests and retaliation are just some of their qualities. Scott (main lennar builder guy) on question why is my half million dollars house so poorly built answered that he personally couldn’t afford one. Obviously, he cannot build one either. Never ever again. Do mot buy, save yourself headache.

Very Slow to Address Maintenance Issues .

House was not done at closing but was forced to close with no recourse. Once closed, was told to call the warranty depth. House was barely clean at closing. I still get emails requesting a signature on a document that I previously had signed 2 times. I've previously purchesed 2 new construction homes and thus was by far the worst. Not happy at all.
