We would have given an overall higher score had we not used Lennar Mortgage. The process of securing our mortgage was complicated, confusing and duplicative. On the other hand we love our home and have found Lennar to be very responsive to our questions and to any concerns we may have had.

Although the buyers experience was a little rocky, the responsiveness to issues in the new home have been great! We have had two issues, one with the thermostat and one with baseboard bowing… both were addressed and fixed in very reasonable time frame. Thank you to Ruby and Cody and the rest of the team!

Harry was excellent in the purchase process . Always available and very helpful . The mortgage arm of the company very poor and the rep was not very knowledgeable and a bit misleading Once you start getting emails to sign things etc . this company will NEVER STOP BOTHERING YOU! Even after closing I was getting emails to sign forms . They want to sell not only homes but insurance and lending …. Just stick to home building and selling would be my advice !

Lennar should have never got into Mortgage business they did not have a clue. Their homes are well built and I am happy with my purchase but the mortgage process was extremely stressful and a lot of unnecessary transfer of duplicate documents.

The sales assistant Sue, the Lennar mortgage representative Nicole and the foreman Tom the were excellent to work with. The sales representative however never responded to our questions after the papers were signed unless he needed something. I am not sure if this is Lennar’s sales process or if it was our sales representative. Either way the process needs to be looked at.

Not having permits for water was uncalled for. Blaming everyone else made it worse. We wanted minor changes we were offered to pay for and sign a contract for(moving outside spigots and additional shelving in closet- both prior to their installation- and told no. Communications were “we don’t know” on every aspect. Now that almost all houses are sold there is mud in the streets, unfinished sidewalks, major common areas just mud, trash on the bridge at the entrance, etc. not impressed with Lennar.

Homes are not accessible to people with disabilities as I was initially told. Had no opportunity to have a shower installed instead of the tub. Made the request but was denied.

This was a cross country move for me so I didn’t see the finished product until after closing. The finish work is mediocre at best. By this I mean that the painting around millwork leaves much to be desired. Shoddy patchwork, mismatched paint on the front door, etc. if I had seen this beforehand I would have flagged this right away.

The walk through would best be done after move in...overwhelming before. Retention of info would make sense after becoming familiar. Front yard landscape is unappealing. Warn new buyers untrustworthy solicitors seeking landscape, concrete jobs.

Overall experience was good heidi at lennar mgt and Jordan were outstanding Biggest complaint is the lack of paying attention to details. Paint overall was less than satisfactory Railing finish work was sloppy . In both cases more care was needed to provide a better finished product. Carpentry was satisfactory but again little things like sanding mitered edges before painting are things you just expect to be done Perhaps a review of subs is in order Second lennar purchase so pleased with the builder but expect more quality finish work given the price point

We had multiples issues that needed to be resolved and still waiting to be... -Missing sliding doors -Walls with holes unpatched -Doorbell not working -Missing cabinet moulding -Still no key for main front door -Missing kicker in the kitchen -Master bathroom with defective faucet They should improve the PDI a little bit. We were expecting a fully finished home!

Overall, house is solid. However, towards the end of the build, a person could tell it was rushed. Windows not shutting right, pocket doors rubbing against screws, kitchen faucet not retracting, a bent bar connected to garage door to the garage opener, etc. The good news the warranty’s service people are quite prompt and very professional. Truly appreciate their completeness of at least 12 items needing to be corrected.

Our sales person Kacey was amazing. She communicated with me and was just short of being our loan officer as well because I could not get any communication during the loan process. Communication with our loan officer was little to none. He would not answer or return phone calls and the only emails he would respond to were the ones our sales person confronted him on. What even more frustrating is when we reached out to our loan officer to lock in our internet rate we got no response and then the interest rates went up. Super frustrating. The only issues I had with the complete experience was with the mortgage people and their under writers. The mortgage staff were not that responsive and could have cost me a lot extra money by not paying attention to the market and how the interest rate was going up. I would hope that their job was to help people get the best rate and to watch what was happening and advise the buyer to lock in sooner then they did. The sales team and all the construction managers who work on the site have been excellent and are a pleasure to work with.

I was not very impressed whatsoever with the entire process. Never once did my salesman take the initiative to send me any photos of the construction process being that I am out of state. They told me they would do that. If the non-English-speaking crews that came in to complete each phase was not paid until the work was done to satisfaction, the quality of work would be much better. Overall we are very pleased with our new home. COVID-related issues caused delays and unexpected changes but I don’t fault Lennar for those. The home is well built. External issues should have been avoided. Our home is on a cul de sac and was positioned such that the driveway has to be curved. The issue is complicated because utilities and a street light are located adjacent to the driveway. Lennar is working with the county to improve access, but this should have been addressed long before closing. The same issue affects other nearby homes on our street and the next street with a cul de sac.
