A horrible experience. First, communication with everyone from sales to the mortgage team has to improve. There was no proactive communication from any of the representatives, except, obviously when something was needed from us. They changed our closing day three times, each of those times without advance notification. Bought the home and the move it was rushed. During the inspection the builder hid flaws on the counter top by taping the inspection notice over the defect during the walk thru. Once we closed the build has forced us to go thru the customer care site to fix problems and it has been a nightmare. Customer care rep is unresponsive, has not fixed any of our several issues and when I complained the customer care rep called me and berated me for complaining. 2 months in and I really regret using Lennar. Very disgusted with this builder and will never use or recommend to anyone.

Lennar provided the day for closing and there were a lot of items that were not completed/resolved prior to moving even though it was promised thet would be completed before closing. It’s difficult to get any responses from them to resolve outstanding issues and when they provide a date they don’t stick to it.

I have bought at least 3 new homes in Florida over the last 30 years and I can say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The house was not ready in any fashion before we took it over. They told us 1 day before closing that they could not close. We had to find another solution for a temporary home for another 3 weeks at the last minute without any explanation from Lennar. They promised to refund us for some of our extra costs but as yet it has not been given back. Bathroom shower tile horribly done. Every door way is not square. Carpet was installed with gaps in the carpet pad. Drywall finish poorly done in various areas. Paint overspray on cabinets. Damaged cabinets installed. Trim work done incorrectly. Exterior was left with siding shims in place. Areas left painted.

The agent on site nice, but, she is supposed to be. That is the best and only best thing which can be said for the whole experience with Lennar. As far as the mortgage experience is concerned, if it were not for the incentives used I would not have used them. As to the subcontractors used, if they worked for me they would have to get better real quick or find another line of work. Subcontractors work rating is fair too poor and that can be appealed from floor, to ceiling, to outside.

This company is focused on just pushing numbers out the door rather than customer satisfaction. The overall experience has been very disappointing as I'm still waiting for my home to be completed as we approach 2 months after the date of closing. I was offered an incentive to close on the original closing date (didn't really have a choice) and told the house would be ready within 30 days. the construction of my home took over 34 months and was plagued with the worst management I have ever seen in a home builder. It has been and still is the worst home buying experience of my life. In the end we never moved into this house because the delay took so long. We have the home listed for sale and again the delay in construction has cost us 100s of 1000s of dollars.

Worst new home purchase.

This is the fifth house my wife and I have purchased, third new build. By far, worst quality build. We have been in the home for almost two months and original punch list items still haven’t been corrected. There have been multiple laborers come through to correct the same issues repeatedly. No pride in their work. To date, still not fixed. From start to finish, this has been a horrible experience. I wholeheartedly regret making this purchase. Would not recommend Lennar to friends or family.

Do not close on your property until you are happy with the job, the punchlist does not necessarily matter after you close. We are presently 7 weeks after closing and still do not have a functional pool. Lennar was in a rush to close for their fiscal monthly/quarterly numbers. New home consultant disappeared after closing with no replacement figure given. No messages answered or returned after closing, although project manager Trevor has been very helpful. I have to say, buying our new Lennar home has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life. From our walkthrough (with no lights or AC), to closing day where these issues were still not resolved, to issues that are still not resolved in our home almost 2 months after closing. You have to jump through hoops to get things fixed, even when they been notated multiple times. The materials in the home are cheap- pressed wood cabinets and laminate counters in the bathrooms. I am a new home owner in Autumn Vista community. Closed home in July 2022. First construction was delayed by 1 month. Next, home orientation date wasn’t flexible at all. We had to take online orientation where we missed several things to inspect like there was a chip in the flooring, the main door won’t lock without a struggle. The Lennar sales team was terrible throughout the entire buying process. Our home closed 5 months after initial projection. This, while frustrating, is understandable given the issues businesses are facing right now. What isn't understandable is the complete dearth of information and even general communication from beginning to end. Worse experience in my life. Lennar has different departments and they don’t communicate with each other. Zach the sales spokesperson for the area was useless, couldn’t be found no text, or call. I seen him only one time out of 5 months. He was always off or on vacation. No help. Once you've moved in, Lennar doesn't really care about addressing issues: 1.We have no internet service with no ETA provided despite our neighbors having service (we moved in 2 months ago). 2. I've been asked to check the box and mark requested warranty work as complete before it was finished, and it then gets ignored by the warranty team. 3. House was dirty in many areas upon move-in, and that was even with a further move-in thanks to Lennar messing up the closing date. This has been the worst decision of my life. Be careful.

From the misinformation given to us about our purchase, by the sales associate, to the ridiculous lies told to us by the mortgage people and the astonishing lack of quality workmanship that is out into these homes I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy a LENNAR home! There were so many things wrong I can’t list them all! LENNAR and all who are affiliated with this company should be ashamed of themselves!

I do understand that Lennar is an extremely large builder that relies on volume not on quality. I think what disappointed me the most was the lack of interest to pay attention to detail, inspect their own work and the lack of interest to make things right. For those reasons plus more I can not recommend Lennar to anyone
