I had an incredibly awful experience with the customer service of Lennar. The company did not work in a timely fashion for necessary community approvals, but did not disclose this until the evening prior to closing. Days with an unknown closing date followed with Lennar completely lacking in communication, concern that my household goods were already on their way from across the country, and telling me on multiple occasions that I should be calling the government agency to get the approval faster. Lennar - Finnished home is nothing like the model homes, from staged lamps

Finnished home is nothing like the model homes, from staged lamps in living rooms with cords hidden under rugs were no outlets are provided, to trim tile in showers that isn’t put in actual homes. Overall quality is terrible, Door openings uneven, lights not centered, outlets in wrong places, internet wiring frayed in walls/connectors loose, appliances not correctly hooked up, light switches not working, yard with construction debris all over, landscaping a mess!

What stand out was how bad the service is

This is not our first new home purchase, but this was by far the worst. There is not enough room here to describe everything and I do not have all night, but I'll start by saying that we were rushed to "close" the purchase on November the 29th last year and it is today, almost 2 months later to the day that we received the key to our home after multiple attends and visits to their office from our realtor. We still do not have any documents what so ever that show that we purchased a home. To this day there is still work to be done in our new home as everything was rushed, but nothing done ...

Our first experience with Lennar

We were and are excited about moving into the community of Ave Maria. Our purchase of the Ariaballa not so much! The quality and workmanship of this build has alot to be desired. Lennar was quick to take our money and when we notified them of the several issues it seems to have landed on deaf ears. From garage overhead doors that don't function, to missing trim, missing shower doors, several damaged and marked cabinets, and a long list of other items. Our suggestion would be to run as fast and far away from Lennar as possible!

The lack of communication, the issues with closing, and all the little details and problems in my home like it all not being cleaned by my celebration walk. The carpets were t vacuumed, none of the windows were cleaned, scratches in my stainless steel sink as well as a dent in my refrigerator. Paint all over the breaker box. Leaves and dirt in my garage. I really have nothing good to say about the experience. Lennar is very slow to respond to issues. I would absolutely not recommend asking for any upgrades as I promise those will get screwed up too. They have already moved on to building the next phase of homes and see little urgency in helping to fix issues with their existing homes. I hope my experience is unique but I don't think it is from what I understand. Good luck if you choose a Lennar home - you'll probably need it

Choice is theirs. But do not expect a lot. Quality might be lot lower than expectation of buyers. Everyone who saw my house felt sorry for me. And check their included GE appliances especially. Not even buyers choice but buyers will have to deal with the problem.

Worst of the Worst

Mortgage process was more painful that an inquisition. Materials and workmanship is pretty cheap. House wasn't cleaned before handed over to me and it has way too many repairs that need to be done, the more toy look, the more you find. Won't recommend Lennar not even to my worst enemy.

Attitude of sales guy,the disappointment with closing dates

Seller wasn't the most responsive, has an attitude and seem like there was no accountability within the system when reported to higher ups. Closing moved 5 times, family stayed in an extended stay for 2months. Home orientation scheduled while home was not completed yet and then threatened for not completing orientation on an incomplete building. Displeasure about the whole process

Customer experience worst i ever received.I close at the end of Nov 2021 i still have a bunchs of things they never finish.Cheap materials and a lot of bad things on construction.On the financing was not to bad.I dont recommend to anybody to buy Lennar.

I had a horrible experience . The sale of my home depended on my purchase of this home. I needed one more day but lennar didn’t care. They would not give me one more day. They told me they would turn around and sell it for more than I was buying it for. The paint is awful it’s a flat pain shows all the marks. In the bathroom caulk is missing around the floors. I fell that the home was built so fast that paying attention to details are missed. My grass now that’s another issue. I have holes in the back yard where grass is missing. I was told that someone would come roll it but never happened. ...
