They moved the day to close so we had to pay for another night of keeping our stuff on the truck and had to pay another $300 for a hotel. The floors are very uneven and one of our trees in the back is not straight. Phil was great!

For my first time it was the most stressful experience, there is no communication between departs or between the finance ppl...I would send the same thing over and over again. They showed no understanding of everything I was going through I had 2 deaths a week apart, and continued to send me emails on sending the same paperwork that I had previously sent....I think it could have been a better experience if there were more internal communications between the finance dept. It totally was not a great experience.

Thank you for the hardwork getting me into my forever home.

My representative, Kyle was wonderful. If I didn't have him to help, support and guide me I don't think I would have stayed and bought a house from Lennar.

We bought a Next Gen and it’s beautiful. Guy over our property is quick to respond and handled all of our move in blue tape missed items/ additional findings with ease. Loved how easy and friendly the loan process and staff were. My hiccup is we were explicitly told the next gen comes with 2 fridges, washer and dryer dishwasher etc. come closing, he refuted that and blamed our walkthrough guy. Dude, you told us that which is why I wasn’t mad about selling our last house with the brand new W&D we bought etc and now I misheard? No, I wrote it down as I was listing the pros and cons and why there wasn’t any buyer remorse before then. Anyway, Les sucked there, and supposedly his managers weren’t willing to budge either. The house is +500K and you want a bad review over it, done. Aside from that, other people’s driveways are small and so there’s a ton of cars in the street and in front of my house but neighborhood is quiet, home is home, and we can figure the nuances out. ... The experience buying the house always has some difficulties however when the requirements are fulfilled completely the journey should be smooth specially when the responses are not accurate it will create some delay and confusion. I also have to say that Larry was very helpful when complication were present. Overall it was ok but could be better.

I had a fast closing since they wanted me to close prior to the quarter ending. They forget you have a career yourself and threaten you with the You need to submit the requested documents within 24 hours. My loan processor was the only reason I stayed In this.. There are hundreds of new homes in this area from competitor builders and I almost walked 3x. I was even told by the rep that work at the tour building for the community well if you think you can find better why are you here? I responded this is my 2nd tour to confirm if I want to confirm but I’ll take my VA home loan and go somewhere else easily… We are highly seeked after in this area.. But overall once it was over everything was great. Sucks they’re still building new homes and these windows don’t block noise so at 0700 you better be fully away. I’m off Fridays and there’s no sleeping in. I know what I signed up for so it’s expected still sucks.. So yes besides the sales rep and document demand it was smooth ... More

This is a great location

The sales representative was excellent. He always immediate addressed our concerns. I did find the closing process quite confusing. New information can being forwarded to my email without explanation. seemed to be a very confusing process with lack of overall direction.

There is no follow thru, honesty or integrity at the Calabash office whatsoever for your attorney. There was zero communication, no returned phone calls or emails. At one point they sent preliminary closing docs and were asking for $360k+ in funds. They had the funds in an escrow account for my 1031 exchange. We closed 3 days late and even then had to wait 3 hours to get our keys. The funds due to me at the close were unavailable until 2 days later. The insurance for my homes was never paid (against the law as they had the funds) and my insurance was canceled. In the end I had to pay the insurance and fight to get a check for reimbursement. Butler & College should be terminated for incompetency, non-communication and breaking the law. I have not reported them but am informing you. All funds during a closing are to be disbursed. They were not. If it had not been for Kevin Williams, we would have never closed. Your attorney made the buying experience awful. ... More

Not orderly in getting things done. Too many last things before the closing to be done when we felt like they already had everything they needed but it seemed like up until the minute we signed the papers there was something else we had to give them or something else we had to do not not on top of things

The overall experience was good, but did not follow up after we moved in

Fist i would like to say i love my home and are very happy here. But the start of the buying was a bit rough. I understood i had the house with the first guy then another guy got involved and stopped everything which caused a problem with my cash transfer then ended up with a different girl finished the sale. But all ended well (did cost me a couple of thousand with a-bb and flight)

We purchased. I did not like the sales approach, similar to a car dealership. Unprofessional and pushy. Once we sat down and got to raw numbers everything just worked. Made sense sales men was a “salesman” I did not like that. Customer was not in mind. overall buying experience was fine. Numbers worked. Office, title was really helpful. Quality is great and response for the minimal Issues we have had which is to be expected in a newly built home has been phenomenal. I would say sales is the hardest hurdle but you do get a quality home with a supportive group. I would buy again just expect to feel like cheap car dealership dependent on you get. Community is really awesome! Amenities are too notch. I don’t have any issue with anything but the sales approach and real estate. Very happy a great schools! ... More

I thought the paper work was a nightmare to get done.

Lennar’s mortgage lender was absolutely terrible. Celebration walk thru was knowledgeable. Cosmetic defects were not fixed/ repaired that we requested.

Home is great had a small electrical issue which was very unsettling

Was not informed I had to buy and install towel holders . never bought a house with that not included. Also garage not finished off never had that issue as well. we have built 7 new homes in the last 10 years so I am aware of what other builders include. Price was very good for area.

The home is very nice and well built. The warranty team is excellent. Great value for price. But don’t fool yourself into thinking these are custom homes. They are for the most part builders grade and built for cost efficiency. It is obvious the few areas where the bottom line was considered more than the homeowners comfort and convenience. Don’t get me wrong, I love my home, but would have done a few things differently had more options been available.

We got a great value on our home. Mike was very low pressure which we appreciated.

After the initial experience with sales person we were very disappointed. Our sales person was the most difficult person to cheat response back from. Mortage , Scott, was awesome. He helped more than sales person. The home inspection and walk through a were acceptable.

The buying experience and workmanship wasn’t so great however, Victor has been there every step of the way when responding to issues. He’s very professional, knowledgeable, and listens to what you are saying. Great communicator and fantastic to work with.

The agent that sold me the home was great. Every one involved was great. The issues I have had with the house are things like no towel racks in bathrooms, no faucet out back, no knobs or pulls on cabinet drawers and doors, no doorbell and the yard is very uneven. I realize the sod is new but I had new sod in my last home but it was flat. I am 78 with walking issues and have has a couple falls just walking outside.

Our Lennar sales person Ashley was wonderful; without her we would not have purchased our house. The superintendent that provided the walk through was great. Every part of the process went well until we had to deal with Lennar Title. With Title we had little to no communication from anyone. Because of Title we closed escrow 4 days late, losing the only weekend we had to move and forcing us to rent storage and lose time from work. And the reason we “only” closed 4 days late was because Ashley went to bat for us and got our paperwork moved to the top of the pile. The whole situation was ridiculous! It was a shame because up until the close of escrow, the whole home buying process had been smooth and easy. After escrow closed and we moved in, we discovered some hidden design issues. To be clear, it appears the home was built per specs, but just FYI: these homes are built with interior wall studs at 19” on center, and the ceiling joists are 2x4s. You thought you’d be using your attic for storage? Think again! It’s not built sturdy enough for that. ... More

My first impression/house orientation was very bad, the house was not clean at all. After complaining, didn’t get extra chance before final orientation. The house was 90% satisfied in final orientation, still had issues which was resolved later. Paid home insurance myself, informed while signing the paperwork , get a promise for refund however they deduct $200 giving some excuses as mortgage money is shortened by $200. The address issue is the worst part, wrong address was submitted to USPS which was later on corrected however the correct address is still not updated ( complained multiple times) at many places like Peco and many banks. They are not able to find my correct address and i have to struggle to get the address corrected at each and every such institution. This is so frustrating and time consuming. They have provided a kitchen exhaust which supposed to throw the hot air and kitchen oil outside however that is not working even after complaint and my fire alarm triggered multiple times due to the alarm getting hot air from the kitchen. ...
