Not responsive to warranty issues, disappointed

The sales person I was assigned to work with was not good at all. He wouldn’t respond to any of my questions. He would communicate only when something was needed on the lennar side and he would pressure me when he needed something. His boss was equally unresponsive and unreliable so I didn’t really know who to turn to. We are not local and now after the purchase we need some support and its not clear who to go to for questions etc. While the property is very nice my experience with the hudson team has really not been great

Lennar was very dishonest when it came to me having my own realtor. I was told I was filling out a form to receive updates on new home availability and later found out it locked me in with the sales office as my realtor. The project manager was great but is given limited information. Love the neighborhood but would not recommend Lennar, unless you come with a buyers agent.

I received the best customer service from start to finish. My sales consultant answered all my home questions and responded quickly, and it got even better when I was dealing with Lennar Mortgage, that was another seamless experience. Every aspect of my home buying experience with Lennar was stress free.

Very happy with Lennar workmanship and layout. I had no idea how responsive the Lennar Customer Care Group would be with new home problems......nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Three issues were addressed within 36hrs. One corrected by a phone call. Roofing issue 24hrs and fixed, Faulty Wiring troubleshooting 36hrs (not Lennar, but to a new Clothes Dryer issue). My priority became Customer Cares priority and we really appreciate that.

I would say at first, it was very stressful buying a house and going through the process since I had never purchased a home before. To be honest, it didn’t feel like they cared much. The congratulations seemed insincere and no one bothers to ask you what it’s like to be living in the house even after a month or two. It had a lot of cosmetic and house problems, they’re too much in a hurry to get the house on the market that they miss even the biggest things that are wrong with the house like some of your roof missing. These are peoples homes. This is where they’ll be living for a long time. I think the craftsmanship and the workmanship should be vital. Other than that I really do love my home, it’s a quiet area but I feel that the house building needs to be a lot better instead of faster. ... More

Lennar is a great builder who pays attention to floor plans and products that are most appealing to a homeowner.

The experience buying the home was fine. Although you must know how to navigate the Internet and how to upload and download files. The home is OK for the price. The neighborhood is already having a good experience in our lives. We're going to enjoy living here very much. Having four HOA's is a bit much to handle. I hope we can afford them in the future.

We love the layout of the house and the location as we are close to family now. It is a 55+ community however the amenities have not been built yet. Lots of lighting. Bright. No security system or irrigation system. Interior finish was average. The employees were very helpful.

Some work ok need to fix alot of things . Would not fix cracks in cement. Not happy.

The portal sucks and hard to read. The bright side was that Everlyn P was always available and super helpful She made the terrible experience of the portal easier.

Extremely excellent customer service. Quality builds and top of service. Would buy again!

I was not happy with our creaking floors on the 2nd floor.

Financing was great experience. However, I wasn’t pleased with being told the HOA was not going to be an issue-I’ve still not been able to get my approval and the HOA sends out warning and threats weekly. You shouldn’t lie to prospective buyers. I also am not satisfied with the materials used -such as fence materials and glass shower doors or the cheap plastic bath tub/shower stall. Not to mention a “hybrid “ water heater that doesn’t heat at all. I now need to spend $5000 to change it out. My side yard is exposed to the public- who regularly throw trash on my yard and dog poop. Plus the yard DOES NOT drain water-DISAPPOINTED!!! I feel completely taken advantage of. ... More

Your follow up and responsiveness to post buying construction defects is abysmal Stand behind your product!!!

Expected higher quality product and workmanship for price. Very difficult to get people back to fix things after closing.

My overall experience has been great. There have been. Some flooring issues however Lennar has been very quick to respond. I contemplated a 4 star on the workmanship for that reason. I understand having to use different contractors to keep the wheels turning on putting up these homes quickly and I applaud Lennar for the value of the home, the timely responses, and the overall willingness to seek customer satisfaction. I've told several people I know about Lennar that are also looking to get still a great home without spending $500,000. Yes the home is settling in and things start to seem out of whack but I was extremely satisfied with how fast Kyndall is to respond to us and get someone out quickly to fix any and all issues. I love the home, love the value, and the affordability it gave for me to make a 2 plan of homeowship happen in 1. No more apartment living for us lol. My issue is my propane bill, it’s highly expensive. If I knew my propane bill was going to be over $500 dollars a month I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED. The builder who is the owner of the propane company is charging the seniors too much money. There’s no way I should be paying over $500 monthly especially when my thermostat is at 68 degrees which is very cold and further more I’m on a fixed income (I cannot pay my bill). Also, there’s a fowl smell every night which is unbearable and I was not informed that there’s a chicken coop in the back. I’m totally unhappy with my purchase.

Lennar's Sales person was very helpful and pleasant to work with. We had a nice experience and are enjoying our new home and neighborhood.

They are very good in timeline of home being built and up to closing.

Be prepared to upgrade your backyard.

Great service, answered all questions within a reasonable time. dealt with one person as the process continued. One thing I would recommend is that Lennar would be mindful that most clients work a regular 9 to 5, and it may be difficult to take calls.

All the way through the building process everyone was great but after closing I began to realize that the materials used were at the lower end of what is excepted by building code. I am constantly having issues with my breakers and live alone and don't cook much. The response time is great to make arrangements to fix it, but the wait time is days, so I am unable to use my stove or microwave. This breaker refuses to stay on where others work when they want to. If I had children in the house I would be screaming by now. The joists upstairs squeak so now I have to move furniture myself prior to the contractor and carpet guy coming to repair that issue. Had it been constructed properly I would not have to move furniture myself at 80 years old. This house comes with solar but there was an issue getting it turned on and the builder did not want to get involved so I had to handle it myself. The builder had a contract with the Solar Company for all the houses in this development so had to make money on the deal so should have stepped up to help me resolve the problem. ... More
