The mortgage company with Lennar has horrible customer service. They treat their clients like crap after all the effort they put into buying their homes. I'd never buy with Lennar again.

A lot of things in the home were covered up and not done properly. I am still awaiting for certain things to be fixed and should not have to wait for the one year housing settling process because it has nothing to do with the house settling process.

Lennar - There should not be this much damage done to a new build prior

There should not be this much damage done to a new build prior to moving in. The entire house has to be painted on the inside there is flooding outside landscape issues construction issues etc.

Horribly blemished Granite Countertops that they won't fix!

Upon closing date we were told our Granite countertops could simply be cleaned with Granite cleaner... They had a very noticeable white film over them with circles and squares imprinted in it? After signing for the home, We purchased a good granite cleaner and it did no good, it looks exactly the same. We were told a one year warranty would cover any issue? NOT TRUE, After we submitted a work order for repair, five months later they said it's not covered by the warranty? DO NOT SIGN during closing until EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED TO YOUR SATISFACTION! Look with a magnifying glass!

We were promised a bigger backyard with a brick wall for our home. We originally were going to purchase a different lot that was cheaper, but were offered our current home because the backyard was bigger. Of course, you would have to pay a bit more for a bigger lot. Come one week before closing, right during our walk through, they told us that our backyard would have a slope fence. Horrible experience with Lenner, Very cheap materials, cheap appliances cheap items installed, I am regretting buying Lenner home. Very bad experience never recommend to anyone buying Lenner homes. In any condition my home is not looking that I have paid over 530k house. Billy was good

Lennar is not ready to be a semi-custom builder

Our home was built in a guinea pig of semi-custom home neighborhood at a luxury price point. The Lennar project managers and subcontractors do not understand how to complete a home of this nature that isn't their traditional entry level home offer with only A, B or C options. The timeline was well beyond what we were promised, the sub-contractors created so much havoc that Lennar had over 200+ items to fix at close, and fortunately, we did not use the Lennar financing team, so we were able to not be forced to close with 200+ issues wrong with our home. Buyers do not trust this seller. They attempt to strong arm buyers through threats of pulling on deposits. The Director of Sales for Miami, FL was a tyrant. He openly threatened to make a Veteran family go homeless because he could not grasp the concept that VA loans have certain stipulations for retirees. All of this was done to provide better profit earning for corporate lackeys at the end of the fiscal year. Poor customer service, repeated broken items and screw ups on the home. Sales representative quit responding to emails or communications the second the ink dried. Broken bath tubs, sinks that leaked and poor follow through. Made me police the situation the whole way the whole way through to get basic items an inspector said be should be done taken care of. Quality of house and whole experience leaves a sour taste. I would suggest that anyone thinking about buying through Lennar, reconsider and look at reviews, as well as look very closely at details. Definitely not a builder that takes pride and address issues in a timely manner, if at all.

New house and the driveway is already cracked. I was told nothing could be done, I've turned in the same problems three times now and they're still not fixed with no follow up. The workman ship is shoddy. There are hidden design flaws that you people have refused to take care of; All in all I would not recommend Lennar Homes to anyone.

Lennar not the way it use to be

We bought 2 Lennar homes in the past. We had no real issues with them. This home in Verona Manor has been a headache for us, from broken appliances to water leakage. The response time on getting things fixed is the worst I have ever experienced. I would have love to have given Lennar a great review, but I feel that to make a company great you need to know what your workers are doing and that can hurt a reputation that Lennar held for so long.

A lot of issues for a new house

I chose a house that was already built. They never did anything I asked on the final walk. After I moved in, I had a lot of issues. They had to replace the vinyl flooring in the house. That was a nightmare experience. I fence is falling apart after only 5 months. I have to have the structure evaluated for a possible foundation issue. I wish they would just take the house back.

NO WATER SOURCE NEAR THE AREA IF I HAD BEEN TOLD THIS I WOULD HAVE NEVER BUILT ON THIS LOT. NOW I AM GETTING FINED AS THE GRASS IN DYING.

I had such high hopes when I put my downpayment on my new townhome. I loved the idea of something that was all mine and that no one had ever lived in before.
