Notified less than 5 days before closing that move-in was would be delayed due to cabinetry not available. This notification came after I resigned from my job, sold my home in Atlanta, and just before the drive to relocate to Florida. I stayed in a hotel for 3 weeks until unit was ready for move-in. Lennar did take care of the costs.

Working with the sales agent was a pleasant experience. However, Lennar was rushing me to close on a home that wasn’t ready for move in and 2 months later I’m still chasing after people to fix things that should’ve been done prior to closing.

can provide more quality based homes. Once the house is signed, we need to take care of all the issues. Quality of house is not that much appreciated. When I put up same question, they mentioned its human build and mistakes will happen, which was not expected. Final inspection should be done by team and identify issues and close it before customer do it.

I will start by saying I love the floorplan I chose. I am disappointed with unkept promises by agent. Lennar Mortgage was very stressful and changed the interest rate at the last minute. The quality of work - paint droppings on the floors and molding (did not use painters' tape), cheap paint, several areas are bleeding through, ceiling showing sheetrock seams/cracks, there are areas of 'rough' wood where it should have been sanded, doors put up backwards, attic cut into ceiling inside house - should be garage only, can't reach attic stairs - cut too short...they said all of this was COSMETIC ...

While the builder and senior management have very good intentions and would like the products and services to be excellent, I am not sure the staff at the lower level and executors of strategy and goals are aligned. There were a number of fauklts pointed out to builders during house construction which were ignored and some of these were not minor problems. Band aid solutions or explanations were provided. The Lennar Mortgage process was unnecessarily painful - I would never go for Lennar Mortgage. Closing process was extremely rushed with very little explanations. I have taken mortgages ...

Lack of contact with Lennar staff. Obvious displeasure at my choosing to use a non Lennar finance company.Lennar title wrong date on closing package and we had to go back the next day to sign again.

Not the best homebuying experience. Sales office was on the ball in getting answers and were enjoyable to work with. Quality of construction and finish work is mediocre at best. Mixing of finishes on plumbing and lighting fixtures and cabinet hardware was astounding. No apparent effort to coordinate!

Build quality was pretty low. House was rushed and it shows. Home was not clean well before move. Sense move in we have been having to get things fixed. The building manager has been very nice and helpful, but does not excuse the fact that the quilty of the home was not was to be expected.

Like any other home, I imagine there were small problems that would pop up but were generally quickly handled by Lennar. The sinks in the home all around are absolutely terrible. None are designed to drain food and water. They are mostly flat and therefore don't drain very well. The kitchen sink particularly would have been better off with a 2 basin sink that actually allowed itmes to flow downward and drain.

Overall I am happy with the buying experience. I lived out of state while my home was being built. Cindy was on it weekly keeping me up to date and answering questions. Now that I have been here close to 2 months, I am slowly getting inside issues taken care of. In my opinion the finishing around the bath tubs and caulking’s around the baseboard could use attention to detail. The home is beautiful inside and out.

Nobody knew what was going on

There are two out maybe six people I dealt with that knew what was going on. The title people were awful to deal with. The house is great, but can tell it is a track home with the cheaper materials used. A lot of stuff was scratched, broke, not finished when e arrived. Sloppy

Be aware of the Move in Ready line. our house was not clean, the yard is 2 different types of sod, there were plumbing and electrical issues with the house that took 30 days to get corrected. I feel the corporation was in a rush to close and overlooked many quality issues. We will not buy another Lennar Home.

Construction manager was very responsive to our questions, post closing. Suggestion: at closing, all incomplete work documented and signed by Lennar rep. And buyers as done by GL homes. This would alleviate buyer anxiety.

Delays in construction. The quality is terrible. We were made to do a walkthrough of the townhouse when there was absolutely nothing ready. They took another 4 weeks to complete. If that was known to the folks working there why would they schedule and walkthrough and try to close just to show the numbers at the end of month? Had roof leak on the first rain after moving in. Great response to attend that but being quality builder this is not acceptable.

I found the construction manager and the followup great. The sales people were also very responsive and helpful. The overall construction was less than I expected for the price that I paid...ie the backyard requires more fill in order to stabilize the patio, the bathroom window is clear and look directly out on a neighbors entry, the grouting was very poorly done in many areas.

This is our second Lennar home and we love the floorplan. Their homes are good values, but this one had many more quality issues than our first. Also they used to brag about how technologically advanced their homes were, but perhaps due to covid and staffing shortages, the technology in this home was essentially a DIY exercise. The home was not even close to ready when we did our walk through and the closing was bumped twice due to garage door availability. A few of the more major issues were: 1. Sales and initial communication was great. Quality of workmanship was average. Some good items in the house and some cheap items. More effort on cleanup before move in would help. Fixing the problems is taking a long time (or maybe they will never be fixed?).

Lennar uses limited flexibility in options/changes approach to hold schedules tightly. That's good thing as you know it up front. On the downside, our house required significant effort to make it livable due to Lennar cost cutting : no towel racks, inadequate closet hardware, no light fixtures, etc. We had several minor quality issues, all of which were quickly fixed with the help of the Lennar customer support rep. And the "smart" home features are really nice!

There are a lot of little things in the house that look rushed like floor tiles not level and raised in areas. Our staid have a good finger width gap between the wall and the stairs and the carpet was laid on top of it hiding the error but my 2 year old found it. The downstairs hot and cold were switched so the cold is actually hot and the hot is actually cold. When buying the house we seemed to be told one thing by someone and then another by someone else so the process was stressful when it could have been very streamlined. Customer service on the builder side was seriously lacking. I expected it to take longer than estimated to build, but the roadmap was unclear and timeline changed so many times and took twice as long as the original estimate for close. My issue was really with how unclear the process was in terms of next steps and the timeline of what was needed from me. For a company that has all of the parts of the process able to be managed by Lennar businesses I had hoped they’re communication between building and lending for example would have been better. From sales to building supervisors to warranty people these are great people. They are very concerned that things go right and that we are taken care of. The issue appears to be inexperienced, underqualified workers who are rushing through jobs. The quality of the workmanship and attention to details is poor. Thankfully, the staff is working to see that all issues are addressed to our satisfaction.
