We were left in the dark for weeks as they pushed back our closing date several times. We tried getting a hold of Corina multiple times on several different occasions but she ignored all our calls, voicemails and emails. The home itself is beautiful but are now having issues with leaks and things missing. The customer service person - chris- also completely ignores all the calls, voicemails and txts. Only when we complain he comes around and still doesnt actually get anything done. Rick was great to work with and we know he did his best. Brian the builder is amazing and so kind and helpful. Slow down at walk through and make sure paint and dry wall is finished properly.

Good design but poor quality of internal decoration

Disappointed with the responsiveness of Lennar representatives when we had an issue. Many times we had to call over & over again during the initial process & after closing. Love the Townhouse, but some of your representatives need to be more customer oriented, especially the supervisor of the design center who never returned any of my calls.

The sales person was great

Lennar did an adequate job. The home is good all-in-all but there are definite things that need improving. The attention to detail is definitely lacking with the workmanship and the employees were not always the friendliest. If you’re looking for a pretty good house for a pretty good price, then you’ll get it, but don’t expect anything amazing from the product or the people.

The initial homebuying experience was decent, and the sales team was helpful throughout the process. However, I will say I've had trouble getting a response to questions or help with issues with the home since closing day. When kindly asking the sales office who I should talk to about my gutter mysteriously overflowing in light rain weeks after moving in, I was told multiple times it wasn't Lennar's problem before finally being given information on how to make a claim with the home warranty. The claim was denied by the home warranty stating it's a "homeowner maintenance issue," despite literally just moving in. Lennar has since offered to help address this issue, but I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved weeks later. I am still finding random paint splatters & scratches missed in the walkthrough, and now after less than 2 months of living here I'm seeing cracked grout & splitting seams, AC unit leaking a large amount of water, etc. For the price I paid for my first home, I expected higher quality materials and more pride in craftsmanship. While we love our home, there were several things that did not impress us with Lennar. The project management was average, at best. In construction and project management, you run into delays, that is part of the job. The handling of and working around delays was not executed to a level we expected. This forced them to rush through our home in the final month of construction. Towards the end of our construction period, we learned that Lennar's fiscal year ended on November 30th and there were a certain number of homes that had to be completed. Lennar put their interests in front of the buyer and proceeded to rush through the home. This put a terribly sour taste in our mouth. Items that we brought to their attention in the 2nd month of construction were now being addressed and when addressed, the craftsmanship was incredibly poor and had to be redone. A week out from closing, we had close to 20 items that needed to be addressed. You would think a week would be enough to complete this. Over that timespan, I saw crews at our home on only two of those days. A day before closing, there were still 7-8 items remaining. Half of those being major. When we moved in, the floors were covered in glue, there were rusty nails and razor blades (!) scattered all over our yard, screens were incredibly bowed, and sinks were filthy. At best, I can give Lennar 3/5 stars. We paid close to a half million dollars for our home and for that price, I expected better craftmanship and project management. Luckily, their warranty process has been responsive, but our home has felt like a construction zone for the first month, as we have one or two people in here per week fixing and correcting things that should've been completed prior to closing. ... Good buying experience with your staff

The buying experience was great but I have lots of issues with the construction side..

Love the home and the layout but the devil and the details definitely made the ownership process a bit lackluster. I had a ton of post-closing repairs (minor to medium) that still aren't complete. The good thing is no one is pushing back on the repairs it's just the sense of urgency you would home for a brand new home.

My experience buying my new and first home was a little more stressful than I expected. I was pressured to move in before everything in my house was completely ready and fixed. Now I am still working on getting everything fixed 2 months later and still have to take time out of my schedule to be around for painters, repair people, drywallers, etc. when this should have all been taken care of before I even got my keys and moved in. Also every time I put a request in for a repair they make me schedule a virtual visit where I show the issue and then they let me schedule someone to come out. I think that is fine for certain problems; however, for more simple or straightforward issues I think that is honestly a waste of time considering I am a single homeowner and have a full time job. ... Bad experience so far.

The quality of materials, craftsmanship and lack of choices makes this builder average. The salesmanship leaves you believing you will need getting a custom created too quality home. In reality it's average at best.

Throughout my experience, the communications between the On-Site Realtor and my Realtor and Lender broke down significantly. When we tried to bring Barron’s Manager into the loop, she also did not respond to my call or my Realtor’s call. The straw that broke the camel’s back happened when I showed up the morning of my closing for the final walk- through and Darin, the construction manager asked did I get a call from Baron the on-site agent. I had not received a call and could tell that I wasn’t closing that day, Lennar had to dig another trench for rain water runoff. Baron knew this the night before. I understand nothing goes totally smooth, but had I have known the night before, I would had rescheduled the movers for my actual closing date. Due to the lack of communication, we had to pay for a month of storage and bring in another moving company to move our items into our Braemore home. Darin the construction manager and Hunter the customer service agent were great. I probably could have let things go without sending this response had Baron just called me to tell me our closing would be rescheduled, but instead, I waisted money. ... More

Overall experience has not been pleasant. From the sale process to the closing process and then to moving in has not been pleasant. The sales process was not transparent when we were on the waiting list. When we were walking through, we were not comfortable with the construction manager asking us if we expect everything to be perfect! When closing the worst has been Lennar Concierge who never once responded to our queries- this has been the worst experience. When we moved in, AC was not working, doors started to creak within a week and we did not appreciate the fact that we had to install and program the Ring and the Garage opener. And overall the quality is basic compared to the price. Overall not pleased with the experience at all buying from Lennar or Lennar product. The only good thing so far has been the Lennar Work service, they have been very responsive and quick to connect ... More

Move in was delayed due to not passing inspection for foundation. Was delayed 2 months and due to scrambling to move the date back up after we were told it would be a 3 months delay we was forced to pay a per diem fee while we waited for the appraisal, since they moved the move in date up on us last minute

Several issues found after moving in. Very annoying. Most were addressed to our satisfaction.

We love our new home. It is built well and so far have only had drainage issues due to the new sod. Hopefully this gets better. We love our neighborhood and love the design of the home. Lending was quite easy with Lennar. The only problems we had was after we put in our application for purchase the communication almost stopped and processes were not explained to us at all. The lending was all done on line and it was hard to get somebody to call and explain next steps. We were just kind of standing around wondering if we were approved, should we pack, what do we do. We didn't get final approval until a week before closing. So we were hesitant to schedule movers and all the preparations of leaving our old home. It became very frustrating. It felt like the builder gave us great service at the beginning then faded away. We did get a nice house and are happy. I hate to complain and rarely give bad reviews. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but just pick up the phone and see how your customers are doing. That's all that is needed. ... More

The process was smooth but after living here for a few month now.The workmanship and quality of materials and appliances are so poor.I have had several issues since moving in.My latest issue was leaking beneath my kitchen sink which damaged the flooring.
