The whole process was very overwhelming and messy. We were pushed to close so quickly in this home that had alot of issues to be addressed. We made it aware during walk through, and they told us to just submit a ticket in warranty and they will cover it. The response time from everyone has been very delayed. We are still having issues to this day with our address not being able to be validated because it is a new construction home. We couldn't connect our utilities due to these companies not being able to find our home in their system (new build which is understandable). So with that being said, I was constantly sending them emails that I can't connect our utilites and i am in fear of waking up to no power or water in our house. They said no worries we are going to let you know 5 days before we decide to disconnect your services. I woke up this morning with everything turned off and no notice that this was going to happen. When I made Lennar aware of this, they said oh yeah we disconnected services to your name please call them to set it up. This is so unprofessional and I never want to buy a home with Lennar again. As a first time home owner , I was excited about this experienced but they robbed the joy from us with how we were and have been treated. Even from closing day, the people who were suppose to help us with the paperwork and signing looked miserable working their job. We were so excited to close and they displayed zero emotion during the process , we even felt bad asking for them to take our picture with the new home owner sign because they looked like they wanted us to leave so they can go home. My first home was with lennar it was an excellent experience. I keep referring to the friends. But the second Home at this new community Northlake, buying experience was not that great. They have cut down so many features from what they displayed on the model homes. When I asked the reps their constant response was "lennar has gone cheap". Yeah the quality is not that good compare to homes built back in 2018. This home is not properly insulated. I can hear the voices from the downstairs to upstairs and one room to another rooms. Having lot of issues especially the HVAC system. Which makes lot of noise could not sleep well. It's been 3 months since I reported initially, no resolutions yet. I have been working with Lennar for approximately 9 years and I have seen how over the years they are doing things from bad to worse and I appreciate that management does not care or at least they cannot do anything since the level of command is followed by one family member to another, in many cases the construction manager is the wife of the person who is in customer care or the brother of the guarantee and so in this way they cannot make each other look bad. As an investor as well as a realtor who works with investors, unfortunately I cannot recommend Lennar more given their poor treatment and finishes. ... More

Barbara, the sales leader from Lennar was great. Very clear, balanced, honest. The overall process from start to finish was done in two weeks, simple and professional, particular for someone like me from NY where it takes months.

My home buying process had its ups and downs, but overall, I’m happy with my new home. The initial phase went smoothly, thanks to Tara M. She handled everything from the site tour to executing the contract with professionalism and ease. She was knowledgeable about the product and very responsive, which made the first part of the process straightforward. However, once the contract was signed, things became a bit disjointed. In my opinion, there were too many people involved in the process, which made it feel a bit scattered at times. But once I was able to connect with my unit’s construction manager, Bobby, things really started to fall into place. He was extremely helpful in answering my various questions and provided clarity where I needed it. The real standout in my buying experience was Emily D. She truly went above and beyond during my New Homeowner Orientation. Emily was the rockstar of the entire process. She not only provided essential, often unwritten, information on how to care for various components of my home but also advocated for me as the buyer in ways that really made me feel supported. I can’t express enough how much I appreciated her dedication and attention to detail. The biggest frustration in my experience came when it was time to close. As an out-of-town buyer, coordinating travel and handling communication was challenging, and the closing documents were sent to me very late in the process, which caused some last-minute stress. My agent and I had to take the lead in driving the process, which wasn’t ideal. One additional note: the civil design of the community has its opportunities. The streets could be 1 to 2 feet wider, which would make a significant difference in travel through the community and in simply backing out of my driveway. While the final steps to closing definitely left a sour note, the overall experience was positive, thanks in large part to Tara, Bobby, and especially Emily. Great house, nice quiet area

Lennarvloan reps are easy going and people centered. Step by step instructions and very patient from reps FC and JH. WALK THROUGH COULD OF BEEN BETTER. THE THINGS I ASKED TO GET FIXED NOT ALL WERE DONE.

Bernie my son liked the online presence and having all the docs in 1 place was great. Me as his father and buyer too, I loved the house design (30 years as a homebuilder) the quality of work was an 8 out 10, but the follow thru on who was going to fix things is to corporate! It would be best to have a full time customer service Guy/Gal who shows up and does the customer service work as there will always be something to fix. We had to wait over a month for a landscaping add on and had to call many people with very little follow thru. We love our house, but the crap about the architectural review and that they couldn't do the Screen Porch because of it was crap and should be optioned, it will be mid February until they show up to install it. Because of the corporate vibe, everyone blames someone else and responsibility isn't their's.... I would recommend Y'all, just would forewarn the buyer about not closing until everything promised was completed, we closed with some things outstanding! ... More

it was the worst buying experience of any product I’ve ever bought in my entire life. The only good news is my salesman was perfect and very helpful. Also, the community and the neighbors are very friendly and the clubhouse is nice. Other than that it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. They lie through their teeth over and over again. They do not back up their products and they don’t care about the health or welfare of any of their customers. The only reason you should buy here is because of the price. It is definitely lower than every place else and it’s probably because they have such a poor reputation about their customer service. I am extremely angry and frustrated at this company and if I could, I would walk out of here and get my money back, but my wife would be very upset because she loves it here so I am biting my tongue as much as I can. I have actually been injured because of a bad design refrigerator. They gave me I tore a bicep Muscle Pulling the refrigerator out away from the wall to get the ice tray out because that’s the only way you can get it out and they will not give me a new refrigerator over and under so I can get the ice bucket out without pulling refrigerator out that goes to show you how their customer care And they didn’t even say they were sorry that I have to have surgery on my bicep. The process of buying the home was excellent, each person throughout to process from touring the home and going through the application process were very nice and explained things in a way I could understand. All the Lennar representatives during the home buying process were excellent, thorough, and quick in responsiveness and I would recommend them to anyone. The issues started 30 days after we moved in. We noticed mold on the wall and turns out there was a hole in one of the pipes causing a leak and mold to spread to our primary bathroom and laundry room. We are now a month removed from when we originally had the pipe leak. Drywall has been removed from affected places and our bathroom cabinet and sinks, was told our replacements would be here within a week and that everything would be patched up. It’s now been a month, still waiting. Dry wall had been removed and replaced but waiting on cabinet to be delivered and installed. Unable to use our master bathroom as we are without sinks. Have tried to reach out to our home care representative multiple times in the past couple weeks via text and email for updates, no response. The frustrating part of this experience is the lack of communication, even just a reply stating ETA or that they’re working on it would have been sufficient rather than no response. Very disappointed that our experience up until now had been overshadowed by this negative experience as this is our first home and were not expecting issues within a month from moving in. ... More

Beautiful but could use improvements on quality.

The sale staff was nice to deal with However, the quality of the products is not . The construction Materials used are very ship. I was expecting more. For the money that I paid, and when something is reported to the guarantee company and they put so many excuses. Exemple: I called the guarantee because the Garage floor is cracking and they said that it is not covered by the warranty. It happened when I had 2 weeks leaving in the house. No doubt so sheap materials.

The agent that sells the house does not give you specific details when I asked about accessories in the house, etc. There are no clarities inside of the contract or at closing. One part of the company doesn’t know what the other one is doing. The mortgage buying experience was completely atrocious and I have experience in buying new homes with other builders. The quality of the materials that are used are absolutely low and cheap. A lot of people in my neighborhood in prosperity lakes have had their roof leaking within the first week by the house. One lady had her sink fall out. Half of the items that were on the inspection before closing were not done but were covered up. If I did not have experience in identifying a lot of the issues, many things would’ve been overlooked. I would never ever recommend Lennar to anybody! ... More

It was a great experience. I received attention from some of the team and assistance in completing the data until I finally reached the completion of the house purchase process. However, I would like in the future for things to be smoother and more flexible when selling and for everything to be explained before signing the contract. I recommend dealing with Lanar. You are a truly excellent choice.

Great customer service, responsiveness and attention to your requests.

The buying experience went smoothly. The problems occur after purchase if something needs attention. I would give them a zero but they did contact me to blow me off.

The purchase experience itself was good (sales and title), but the overall experience was marred by many poor quality control issues on the finishes. Some examples include: - Cracked grout in both bathrooms, chipped countertops, cabinet handles that aren’t aligned properly, appliances not leveled, poor interior paint job, unlevel floor tiles, etc. We gave them a two-page punch list prior to closing and now it’s two months later and only about 4 of the 20 items have been fixed. This is a vacation home for us and we told the construction manager we were fine as long as everything was fixed within a month of closing (they can feel free to come and go as we aren’t there). But even the things that were supposed to be fixed pre-close weren’t fixed yet. Sub-contractors not familiar with what they should be doing — for example, the included Ring doorbell has a part that has to be put inside the chime within the house; this was not installed on ours (it was in the box they left us) Within the community, sidewalks are already cracking, some outside areas on the grounds are not graded properly (so large puddles form from the irrigation system), so just poor quality control resulting from cheap and poorly supervised workers. ... As a first time homebuyer I must say the process was very smooth. My loan processor was amazing!!!!! She made the experience heavenly. She stayed in contact while my home was in construction and even after to say congratulations. The targeted closing date was pretty much on target from loan origination and delayed by 2 weeks. That is pretty phenomenal. I’m happy with the home. Only item I wasn’t totally happy about was the video rendering showcased a beautiful staircase with a banister. The finished home has a wall built. Kind of a visual eye sore aesthetically. But I will replace it. Overall I’m happy and grateful for a smooth experience. ... More

Lennar's excellent team of professionals guided me through every step to make my home owners experience remarkable!

First, I never saw my sales rep and in my opinion it just felt like and we were treated like we were just another sale for him (his name is Michael). he wasn’t even there when it was the day to get the keys.. so we actually never saw him except for briefly when touring the homes. I don’t think that’s a great first time home buyers experience to not have established a good relationship with your sales rep and have them not be present for anything. We actually spoke more to the other sales rep (Daniel I think) and he was pleasant and helpful! As for customer service, Adrian has been great, very helpful, and responsive! Oscar was also great and very helpful. He made sure to listen and answer to all our concerns. I just wish I could have gotten a different sales rep. ... More

First day in-- a leak was discovered in Kitchen caused by dishwasher. Construction Mgr, Charles, came over instantly and took over and quickly had it fixed. Charles helped us on other issues as well. This made start up at the new home a smooth experience.

Staff was great to work with!
