The fact that very few options are available for the purchaser throughout the home.

That they claim to not be a "custom builder" when they need excuses for construction miscues and for their lack of options. For the price of their home, it seems unreasonable to make those claims. Buyers must understand that changes internally will be on their own, while changes externally are virtually non-existent due to HOA regulations.

Lennar - The quality is lacking and Phil the customer service rep is horrible

The quality is lacking and Phil the customer service rep is horrible it wasn’t until I got a hold of his boss that anything got done around my house. They slap the houses together and want to walk away as soon as you move in no follow up poor customer service

Lennar - Sales and local construction manager did a great job.

Sales and local construction manager did a great job. The process of getting warranty claims resolved is terrible unless you’re talking to someone at the corporate office or a regional President. The preferred lender will lie and threaten you in an attempt to gain your business. Overall a pass if it were pass/fail (but not by much).

What a headache .

Multiple problems with the portal and dealing with the mortgage team was a nightmare. To date have not been to LF our mortgage was approved. Kudos to Christopher Buentello who kept us informed as to the progress on the home and assisted us with communicating with mortgage team when they did not respond.

Not a good experience. Once they sold their home. They dont care about your issues. Built wrong foundation. Many many delays in completion.

Lennar - This is my first home but I will avoid Lennar in the future.

This is my first home but I will avoid Lennar in the future. The craftsmanship and finishing is of poor quality and downright lazy. Crooked cabinets, terrible paint and caulking, etc.

Terrible closing process, house already falling apart due to short cuts.

Paint is chipping because they watered down the paint. The solar panels are not even close to netting out the results its supposed too. The amenities are not complete yet we are paying an hoa fee for them. The Mello roos is labeled as special assessment which has a 50 year bond on the property (where most have 25 year bond). The public lights to the street are not even turned on. The curbs leading into the property are incredibly high and are not up to code (which they are claiming that they are and are refusing to pay for improvements). I wish I could turn back time and wait on my close. Make sure you have everything complete before you sign. If Dillon is your construction manager, leave completely, he is not only incompetent, he is rude and unresponsive.

The experience is fine till you have bought the house. Their customer service is non-existent and getting warranty service is a hassle. The workmanship is not great either, it is livable but not worth the price.

The horrible treatment from the Title Office and the number of repairs and fixes required

I could not have been more disappointed in the treatment we received and the number of fixes and repairs required for a BRAND NEW HOUSE. The Lennar Title Office was absolutely horrible we were lied to repeatedly, just terrible.

Pushed through the process by Salesperson like cattle at the “sale call”. Home incomplete, pushed to sign off on multiple incomplete items. Financing process tedious beyond acceptable. Only bright spot of the process is the Superintendent in charge of “punch out” process is apparently the only person in the Corporate machine that cares!

I wouldn't purchase another Lennar home

Since moving in there has been one issue after another with our home, as well as the surrounding neighbors. (and I'm talking about some BIG health and safety hazard issues). We have had people constantly in our home fixing issues since we moved in which has been frustrating. Many of the fixed items have been done very sloppy. Some of the issues we were told weren't under warranty, so we are already having to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket for the extremely fast and sloppy work that is done with building these homes so quickly. Construction Team doesn’t care about the customer

The sales and finance teams were great, however, the construction team was far from it. It appears that they were on a mission to build our home as quickly as possible without consideration to quality or the customer. We went into the house every week that it was under construction. When we saw things that weren’t right or could be better, we notified our sales rep. He passed our thoughts or concerns to the construction team. We were passed from salesperson to sales person

We were passed from salesperson to salesperson, with pushy people and zero communication every step of the way, until there was money to be made. There are things that were never communicated, which we later had to deal with. Our salesperson was trying to get her name on our documents before a specific arbitrary date, so we had little time to review things, despite being legally allowed to do so. Very pushy and unapologetic. 2/10 would not recommend.

Completely disappointed. Especially with the yard! It's unusable! And we were told that it was a family friendly community, however, it's NOT! it's more for older people who don't have kids, as long as they don't want to use the back yards, as they are uneven so they're dangerousto walk on! We should have one assigned parking spot out front, but there's not enough parking for the owners and guests. Another thing is providing us with the cheapest possible appliances like the dishwasher... with that said, we were told everything is included, that was false. The refrigerator, washer and dryer ...
