If you are buying a Lennar home, please be aware that the quality of craftsmanship is very low especially with drywall. Get a home inspection completed. Also be VERY detail oriented during your walkthroughs. Take pictures of where the blue tape is so you can check if issues were corrected. Check drywall in corners, under cabinets, in closets, at baseboards, etc. We moved in on Dec 15, 2024 and have had several issues so far (multiple scratches/dents in flooring, our living room closet door fell off the door frame-screws fell out when the door was open, carpeting needed to be stretched to fit properly at a transition into the laundry room). Lennar so far has been responsive and have corrected small issues. We were instructed to put in a warranty request for the multiple areas of bad drywall (not due to settling, just poorly done) for the 60 day service which we will see how that is handled. While we like the overall floor plan and structure of our house, we are very disappointed with the quality and need to have pretty much every wall in the home repaired, considering the price point. It seems like every 30 seconds you are getting a msg or someone is Texting you about some phase of insurance, settlement, HOA, mortgage or some other phase of buying....respond to one and get double back without really knowing who or where they fit in the scheme. Last walk thru is a real joy also....moves way toooooo fast

Our overall experience has been very good. The staff is responsive and helpful. Our construction manager is beyond excellent. We realize that Lennar is not a custom builder. However there are a few items that should be offered as an option. The appliances are not reflective of the quality reputation the builder continues to enjoy. We would recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a new home.

Lots of cracks in the drywall as not enough joint compound was used and other issues need to be addressed at 60 day inspection.

I'm shocked at how easy it was to buy this property. From the first time I stepped into the home through the day I received the keys, my experience was incredible!

Few issues that have still not been fixed. Disappointed, but overall a good product.

Nice solid build. Builder did a great job. Nice neighborhood and location. Good value. Got a great deal at in November end of their fiscal year. I did get a private home inspection before my walk through and they addressed everything in my report. I am very happy with everything. I would reccomend Lennar builders. The home also comes with a warrenty. And dont forget to register all your mechanicals and appliances that were included for their warranties as well.

Bad Very bad finish and the representatives do not respond and take a long time to solve the problems.

Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. No personal follow up on new home. Last walk through was fast, sign here intial there. In 5min it was done. Never saw or heard from anyone again. I could go on but I won't you get the picture.

May second lennar home and the process this time was just as easy as the first. I will add this home was built a lot better than my previous home (Covid years so things were crazy) great experience fast communication and great price and location. Couldn’t be happier

The process to submit documentation for our mortgage was tedious. We had very few issues with the building process, although we are in the process of getting a tile repair done. We wish the windows were of better quality because there is a lot of condensation on them with the cold outside and heat inside. The appliances are very basic and we did replace all of them. We are very happy with the "bones" of our home and feel it is sturdy and of quality construction. We are overall very happy with our new home.

This breaks my heart to even right because we have dreamed of moving to Babcock for years, but what was supposed to be one of the most exciting times in our lives quickly became a nightmare. We have previously purchased a new construction home from Lennar, and we have never been treated so poorly. Trustworthiness Our representative failed to ask what we were looking for, giving us only a few hours to decide on a home and displaying anger when we requested more time. When we asked to see a model that wasn’t in Babcock, we were told there were none. However, our real estate agent successfully found some being built so we could review the floor plan. We continually had to fight for items that were supposed to be included in our contract, such as a washer and dryer on the first floor and our proper elevation. The absolute worst experience was with Lennar Mortgage. We advise paying more for a separate lender. Lennar qualified us multiple times, but 14 days before closing, they suddenly informed us they wouldn’t provide the loan. We fought hard to avoid losing our deposit. The lender claimed that she had never encountered a more qualified applicant, yet they attempted to withdraw the loan just before closing, making it impossible for us to change lenders. It felt like a major scam, and it's no surprise that many homes in our neighborhood seem to "fall through." This situation definitely warrants legal scrutiny, as it appears something unethical is happening. Additionally, representatives attempted to access our home weeks after we closed; thankfully, we had changed the door code. Value for Price Paid Compared to other builders in Babcock, Lennar offers the best value per square footage. However, this comes with significant hassle. Be prepared to fight for everything you think you’ve paid for, jump through hoops, and stay on top of your build. Constantly walk through the property and consider hiring an engineer to inspect it. Although you may save some money, you will spend it on other vendors for tasks that Lennar should reasonably handle. Responsiveness Whenever we asked common questions regarding lots, price adjustments, or fees, we were met with hostility and pressure to purchase. We eventually had to hire a real estate agent to take over the process due to their unwillingness to answer our questions. The lack of transparent information was astounding; for example, we were told irrigation was included in our HOA, as confirmed by our representative, but we still have not received a response since closing. Quality of Workmanship & Materials While Lennar has beautiful floor plans, we strongly advise against buying a home that is scheduled to close near November. Our home was set to be finished in January, and it was evident that the work was rushed. The paint job featured multiple colors, and many walls, including the countertops, are not straight. If Lennar had spent more time and care on our home, I could have overlooked these other issues. The only positive aspect of our experience was our project manager, who joined a week before we closed and was a pleasure to work with. The workers who came to address our issues were also wonderful. In my opinion, it is better to invest more money and choose another builder. We believe this community will be beautiful and wonderful for our growing family, but we will not be recommending Lennar or building another home with them ever again. ... More

Bobby was my builder and he was great. He seemed to really care about ehat he was doing and if I liked it. He stayed near during my initial walk through and came and asked if I needed anything done or fixed. I have been in my home for about two months now and so far, I haven't found any problems.

Really was stressful but Chris was great and explained the whole process

I bought 3 homes myself and helped lennar sell 2 more gomes with zero recognition or appreciation from Lennar. Additionally quality of Lennar has deteriorated drastically its a shame and no response on fixing the issues I am definitely not coming back infact will pass on this feedback to my investors friends and group

It is 1st time to buy from LENNAR, very good experience. Look forward for the future opportunities

I got a quick response for my ticket. I also got some one to check and report the issue. how ever it was not fixed because those lawn water was coming from neighbor's lawn.
