Builders rush instead of ensuring quality products. The level of professionalism is below standard. Communication between all parties in the process is poor. If you have a new build, expect significant delays from the original move in date. I could go on, but basically expect to be disappointed and don’t set your expectations high.

Still trying to get home issues cleared. Corrections are made but require additional follow up that has to be requested. Don't feel any urgency or pride in workmanship

Don't expect your house to be built of the same quality as purchasing from single person or smaller company. You can end up with a good home as long as you're willing to go through the battle of dealing with warranty work. We had a good experience with our second sales rep and our warranty service.

Lennar responded:
Hi Dustin, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry for any difficulties you had with the initial process, and are glad to hear that things improved with the second sales rep and your warranty service. Please feel free to reach out to us at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com if you need any assistance now or in the future.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

Thank you for your feedback about your experience. If you would like us to review anything for you, please send an email to corporatecustomercare@lennar.com with your concerns. We will be happy to review and assist.

Lennar - We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home.

We were very excited to have Lennar build our new home. However, we encountered many obstacles and were pretty much told deal with it or find another location to build. Warranty items take time to rectify. In the end, we have a beautiful new house that we hope to enjoy for years to come.

Lennar responded:
Hi Mark, thank you for sharing this feedback. We are sorry for the difficulties and are glad to hear that you are enjoying your new home. If you have additional items to be addressed, feel free to contact us at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com. Thank you again.

Horrible Communication and Promises not followed through

Communication and response time is horrible for any warranty work needed. We were promised several things from first warranty guy then he was switched to different property and new guy has no idea about anything. Wait time to get items addressed and taken care of is ridiculous. We have asked to speak with supervisor verbally, through text, and via emails. No response on that yet either.

Lennar responded:
Hi Dawn, thank you for your feedback. Please send us your outstanding items, along with your home address to corporatecustomercare@lennar.com. We will review and ensure that the appropriate personnel are involved in resolving this matter for you.

Over all Lennar just wants money and doesn’t care about the customer

We started the process of buying a house, I advised we couldn’t move until April. I found the closing date was May 24th. My realtor in a hurry to sell my house by may 24th slashed my home price by 20,000. Everyone knew accept me and my realtor knew the house needed to be sold by April 24 and didn’t advise us of this tidbit (the website said May 24th closing) so I lost out on tons of equity. We do our walk through on this house and things are marked but as we point things out things we are told “don’t sweat the small stuff”. The following week we do our second walk through and lo and ...

The rushing of the final walk through before closing made us miss blue taped spots that had been just removed and not taken care off. Immediately notice damage on floor on main entrance hall and was told warranty would take care of it but at the end of the warranty year, door sticking really bad. We can’t finish bringing furniture because we keep waiting on the paint spots to be taken care off. It’s very frustrating. Also what you think you are buying when you see the model home is not what we got in the master bathroom with no drawers and also no tree by side of garage. If things had been ...

I feel that the lack of communication is where things get hard. When you’re a first time home buyer you have so many questions and things to get done but no one communicates. Even when you ask it feels like you’re a bother because how they respond. This entire process was stressful and very unprofessional. If I could re do it, I wouldn’t choose Lennar.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the house. This is my worst experience with a builder. There are a lot of issues in the new house, uneven and squeaky floors, low quality materials, appliances that are not working, garden drainage bevels that are not draining water out of the compound after every rain etc.

Disappointed Phase 1 Buyer: Poor Support and Subsidized Defects

As a Phase 1 buyer, I am deeply disappointed with Lennar’s poor customer service and lack of accountability. I highly recommend that future buyers take their time and do not rush into early phases with this builder. Here are the main issues we are currently facing: Unfair Price Drops: Phase 1 buyers endured high interest rates, constant construction noise, and traffic disruptions. Instead of protecting our investment, Lennar immediately offered massive discounts for later phases, leaving early buyers at a financial disadvantage. Lack of Community Care: We pay full HOA fees but do not get ...

Moving from out of state, we looked at Lennar homes., while visiting family in South Carolina. We went back home to Florida and received a call about a great deal. Our mistake was we didn’t realize going from one development to another also meant lower quality construction, amenities and finishes. The salesman stated the home price dropped, but to make up for it Lennar gave us unfinished garage, no garage door opener, and lower grade materials then what they had in the other areas and was shown on the app they asked us to download. Various items on the app were incorrect and not available ...

The yard overall is below average, numerous dead grass spots, grading on three sides is very uneven with depressions unusually deep and makes it hard to walk on due to how uneven it is, have seen the other Lennar neighborhood in Loris I was considering and was impressed with the yards there so was expecting same. The walkway from front door to driveway is not usable during heavy rain as tge roof water explodes off the roof in a few areas and douses the walkway. The interior is fine so far and the hvac, plumbing and electrical has all been good so far, the overall product for the cost ...

Pricing Concerns and Unanswered Mortgage Inquiries

  • Mustafa N.

I believe I was charged more than expected after the seller recognized me as a serious buyer. This raises concerns about the fairness of the pricing process. Additionally, I made multiple attempts to contact the Lennar Mortgage agent to address important questions, but my calls were not answered. As a result, several of my questions remained unresolved before the file was closed, which is unacceptable and reflects poor communication and customer service.
