We had a contract on **************** and the build was delayed for months. It was a comer lot which is what we wanted and Royce knew that! When things got delayed we switched to ***************** which we thought was a corner lot. Signed the contract and was never told otherwise. We figured it out when we finally got a plat to get approval for fence. We began asking about the lot at that time and no one could give us an honest answer. This drug out till closing when we're sitting with our uhaul full of our belongs. The builder even thought it was a corner lot and said that. We paid a premium price for the corner lot and then found out for sure it was a common area for HOA to maintain We asked Lenner to help get it for us but instead of helping us with this issue they spit in our face and told us to take this up with the HOA. Now we are forced to take legal action. There have been other issues as well. I would NEVER recommend a home to anyone by this company! ... More

Your people jerked us around from the end of November till the end of March said we were going to close the end of March never did! I made one phone call including the phone call, I was closed within 30 days. I came there to look at a house that was 315k. We bought one almost the same exact house on a lake instead. I’ve talked 3 couples out of buying houses from you people & I will continue doing that until somebody calls me. ***.***.**** I’ve been customer service my whole life. This experience was nothing short of pathetic & so unprofessional to say the least. They don’t even know how to go over the numbers properly with the customers when you’re sitting down with them. ... I would not recommend buying a home through Lennar based on my experience. The sales agent was largely absent throughout the process. I had to initiate almost all communication, except when I was told another buyer was interested in the home and needed to increase my offer by an additional $5,000 to secure it. After that, there was very little support. The underwriting process was the most frustrating part. Before I paid my earnest money, I provided all of my financial documents and explained my concerns. Weeks later, I was told that overdraft fees on my bank statements could prevent my approval. Instead of immediately requesting an exception, I was advised to delay closing and incur additional costs. Only after I raised concerns about my earnest money and the delay was an exception submitted—and it was approved. I was then approved shortly afterward, making the delay feel unnecessary. Communication from my processor became increasingly poor, and eventually my calls and messages went unanswered. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end after closing. The craftsmanship of my new home has been poor. I've already found dents in doors, paint peeling off doors, cracks in the walls, and areas where caulking was incomplete or missing. For a brand-new home, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. The only positive part of the experience was the closing team, who were professional and pleasant. I love owning a home, but if I could do it over again, I would bring my own realtor. I felt like I had to advocate for myself throughout the entire process instead of having Lennar advocate for me. As a first-time homebuyer, working with Lennar has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. I expected much better communication throughout the process, but instead I constantly had to reach out myself for updates and to find out what the next steps were. Documents were emailed to me for ***** without any explanation of what they were, why they were important, or even a courtesy call letting me know to watch for them. My original closing date was scheduled for May 29, but it has now been pushed back three separate times. Despite everything being completed and finalized on my side, I have received little to no explanation for these delays. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, especially for a first-time buyer. Instead, this process has been stressful, confusing, and disappointing due to the lack of communication and repeated delays. Rachel was my loan agent, and it was impossible to get a hold of her, she never explained anything just expected signatures on unknown documents. She was horrible! the overall experience with Lennar fell far below my expectations. I would not describe this as a positive home-buying experience or recommend to anyone else! ... More

Shorty craftsmanship, hurried-up quality, constantly finding things as I go through the house the walkthroughs are a joke who gets on their hands and knees and looks underneath the counters looks at the woodwork no one they look at the overall picture. Workers use the toilet and destroyed one of them put a piece of paper over it in the floating water to hide it or try to hide it the other two bathrooms still had pee and poop left in it. Once you put a door stopper in the wood boards and pull it out you've destroyed it and that's what they did upstairs they pulled it out and removed it over further but it's still left the mark and a hole and they did not fix that the stucco is coming off inside and out chipped paint on the outside of the house paint not covered on ceilings just shot a craftsmanship I would never buy another house ever again ... We were offered one package prior to building and was later informed that package was no longer available. We felt ***** to and very little effort was put into correcting these ***** tactics.

It was easy to deal with the lennar team and they were helpful to every aspect. There were some challenges but we were able to resolve it pretty quickly

I understand they have some ways to go in terms of quality, but to me those are minor as long as they respond in a timley manner.

Great experience with Lennar and Eric at Cleveland Hill!!! From deposit to close was maybe 3 weeks. Straightforward process, and incentives offered made the experience even better. My daughter and I are looking forward meeting the neighbors and enjoying the home and community.

Paint job is sloppy. Doors were not appropriately hung(could see outside light underneath and above) cracked kitchen cabinets,

I had a wonderful experience visiting the title place; it felt warm and welcoming, especially being out of state. I do have some concerns and worries about other issues at the location. I believe this place is beautiful and could be even better if these concerns were addressed.

Need to fix any issues that the customer founds before walk through the home, I have to call the contractor and pay more money to fix the home while moving in.

I was assigned to the Home buyer concierge and he never reply to the customer inquiry or request. This is like a block hole once payment submitted the customer never receive any care anymore. I was promised items at construction meet and never delivered

I would never use Lennar again and would not recommend

Mortgage officer was unprofessional and incapable of doing his job. Brand new house looked like it never went through and inspection. Very slow warranty claim turn around times

It’s a worst experience buying house with lennar builder. They don’t work with you but against you. Lennar will never address complaints but will push your issue in loop so that you will give up and don’t raise new complaint . Lennar is a scam. We have all proof
