We started out with so many questions and not thinking we were ready to buy. Our loan officer gave us the reality of where we were in the home buying experience and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Lennar continuously sent us emails of what’s next, the portal was very helpful to keep up with things, very user friendly and straight forward. Even after closing we received check in calls. After living in our home two months now…I can tell you it was nicely build and designed. We get a lot of compliments when we get visitors. Well prices, great layout, great customer service from all of the Lennar team members. I recommend them everytime someone ask about new construction or home ownership. Glad I chose them. The salesperson was accurate, helpful, and honest, but the mortgage person was not sincere and changed terms after they committed us. We informed the salesperson about the situation, but nothing happened. We were led to believe specific terms or conditions were being offered when we decided to purchase the house. However, after committing, it seems those terms have changed, which feels dishonest to us.

From the initial discovery of our house to the day it closed was just under a month. Gail our Sales Consultant was great from showing the house to me the first day I saw the house to follow up and coordination throughout our quick closing. Shawn our sales officer was a phenomenal resource that helped us through the process and was always available to answer our questions. Jason our customer care representative during our homebuyer inspection was very knowledgeable, personable and made us feel at home for the first time. He and his team worked through some construction workmanship issues in a very timely and professional manner. They were very forthcoming with a few issues that happened during the final touch up process. Jason, Jorge, Anthony, Cody and Kelly and the team with Vintage Flooring were a great compliment to the overall team and again helped us get our “The New House” (as our baby calls it) to pristine condition prior to closing. I had worked with Lennar both directly and as an outside Architect and this is the sincerest form of flattery or if you will confidence in a home builder when someone who has worked with/and for a company and chooses to put their personal faith, trust and families’ future memories in a Lennar Home. Extremely pleased, would do it again without a doubt. Great Team!

It has only been two months and we are having problems with cracking in the walls and nail pops. Caulking is also separating from the walls. The house hasn’t been there long enough to “settle” Over all the house is great.

My 1st home buying journey went smoothly and I can say that Lennar did everything as promised. My experience differs from the nightmare reviews that you might find on different social platforms. The build quality was acceptable and the purchase process was painless. Mind you, it's best yo have done your homework prior to purchasing a new build. Keep your expectations realistic. These homes are made quickly and there may be things that aren't perfect, however, during your walkthrough, you're given ample time to find faults and hve them addressed. The warranty is generous and the smart home features are a good quality of life upgrade. I have enjoyed working with Lennar staff and if my experience changes, I'll provide an update. Home buying experience is okay as the homes are more like inventory homes and no options to choose but not satisfied with quality of workmanship and how the issues are handled. Already seeing multiple cracks across the house near the wall joints.

Next time plan and deliver value to buyers, don't deliver the house in Nov.

There were delays in finishing the home, tied to the local government and permits being issued. What was troubling was that Lennar communicated a time frame that was not reliable. What was originally a late September closing turned out to be a late November. My recommendation to Lennar is to provide a time range for closing/completion, not a tentative date.

Little to no response on HOA questions or requests

Lennar is excellent at communicating.

Overall it's okay but I feel as though the home building process was rush and because of this the home is not done properly so like some Tiles uneven, bathroom shower stall have grout that can be done properly, etc.

Don’t go thru Lennar Mortgage. They are terrible and never respond. Never answer phones. Never get back to you. Had to almost pull out of buying the home.

My experience was not the best. There were Docusigs almost weekly. There seemed to be very little communication between the loan officer and the underwriter so I was asked to provide information more than once. There were delays that I still don’t understand. I waited in the attorneys office to close for twelve hours . I was given te wrong keys to my home. There was no information about the community. It was a mess!

We were excited to purchase our townhome and to get in on the first offering. We had a positive experience with our salesman and patiently waited several months as the finish date was delayed over and over again. Lennar’s fiscal year ends end of November. While we were on Thanksgiving weekend with our family, we were told that our CO was approved Thanksgiving day. (Nov28). Lennar’s sales manager forced us to close remotely Saturday the 30th. He threatened to find us in breach of contract if we didn’t. We spent our Thanksgiving holiday on the computer with a remote notary. It spoiled the experience for us. We lost all trust in Lennar. ... My experience was great from the sales team all the way down to loan officer and everyone else that work with us. They made everything about my home understandable where I would have no doubts about buying my home. I really enjoyed every thing about my experience with them would encourage anyone to buy with Lennar great team never a bad moment always there to answer any question or problem you have and I love that.

Overall, bad experience through the process.

Overall I am very happy with my new home. I had a challenge up front. My septic tank was put in the middle of my back yard so no patio Room could be built. After much anguish and threatening to not buy my beautiful home, the 2nd level Manager Jeremy offered to have septic tank moved for addition desired. It WAS moved and he promised to pay for a re-inspection BUT as of today the $150.00 has not been reimbursed to me. I contacted Jeremy again yesterday to request the reimbursement. All flaws i have found have been submitted and are being handled as the warranty team can schedule. I LOVE MY HOME AND WHERE I'M LOCATED IN THE SUBDIVISION. ... More

There were some issues that were found during the final walk through. I agreed to go ahead with the closing under the assumption that they would be fixed in a timely manner. It is now almost two months later and they are still not fixed.

This is my first Lennar home as well as my last. There is no pride in craftsmanship in this home. The walls are not square, the floors were not leveled before laminate floating floor was installed, paint and caulk were sloppy at best.

Closing was rushed, certain appliances and utilities weren't even on/installed by the time of 'final walkthrough.' Not sure why there was a final walkthrough when the home was clearly not ready, not to mention paint everywhere. Worksmanship was mediocre and looked cheap. Multiple door handles loose/falling off, extremely dirty everywhere, some panels on inside falling off, all while being rushed to sign documents for close. They know buyers are stuck in a difficult position so they don't seem to care about quality. Would not buy a Lennar home again nor would recommend them to others. Our homebuyer liason Michelle was also not very knowledgeable nor responsive, would have to follow up multiple times for an answer and she generally seemed annoyed during our in person interactions with her. Just overall not a pleasant experience from start to end at all. Our address wasn't even registered (and still isn't) on google maps so for over a month there was difficulty receiving mail, and we still cannot use certain sites like doordash or delivery services since our address isn't registered (2 months now after close). On a positive note, they are responsive to fix requests so I will give them that. Just seems frustrating that so many aspects are not move-in ready and they say they'll just fix it later through their online portal request. How about have all these things ready before we move-in and start paying you? These are not warranty-related issues that have broke since move-in, these requests are all fix-it requests that existed when we moved in. ... More
