My home is still lacking many things that was promised long after closing. The builder doesn't respond to text for calls. Very frustrating

Stay away if you are looking for quality

Dealing with Lennar for the past couple months has been nothing short of pure misery a complete disappointment. You open a warranty request and they keep you ignoring you. Multiples times I'm been trying to hold the warranty service from my community and not luck.

We still have issues that have t been fixed. We still have tape on places in our house (closing was end of April!).

I am def going to be writing a review. To news channel 8, Facebook , Instagram , Twitter. I am shocked at what my house looks like. There is not one piece of molding in any room that is clean and hole paint streak free. Not one. Two doors in house don’t close. Which they were told at walk through never fixed. Holes in both showers in tile. I am saddened that I spent this much money for a place that the inside is literally embarrassing. I have pics which I will be sending you. I will also be sending to social media as I can already tell I am not going to get this stuff fixed. The blue tape during walk through was ignored. Heck some blue tape is still there and was painted over. Very sad. Many people warned me about Lennar. But we ignored it. Totally full of regrets. They tell you things that are not true. When you move in the grout and seal for your wood baseboards pulling out from the wall and theTile in my shower the grout has holes in it my wood floor had spots on it that were left by whoever put it down my sink was scratched badly both sides and they tried to say I did it. They finally fixed it. My garage door broke after about a couple of weeks and no one would come fix it. I am 72 and.my son couldn't.be home so i called the garage door CV company and a super nice man drove an hour at.no charge to come fix it late at night. All my doors were cut but never sanded properly on the sides, top, and bottom some barely have paint on them, some none. I cut my arm on one because the edges are so rough. I was given the wrong mailbox key so my mail was going to another person and it took two trys to get it changed. I didn't know toll I did y j.g e walk t hff rough that I had to seal all the tile in my home and I had cut myself very badly on th ed front of my shin; five inches across and five down and couldn't seal my tile for weeks. I couldn't use my shower until it was done. I am going to be paying for all this to get fixed out of my own pocket. I was told that no one sees the inside of doors so who cares. Well I do. My one bathroom the door was not shimmed on the bottom so it won't.go if err r the bathroom rug at all. I will never recommend Lennar to anyone ever. I could go.on. ... More

Next Gen Homes are Amazing

Love my townhouse. However I am almost 2 weeks moved in and my sons room and his bathroom have no power. Had to send in a request and it could be weeks before someone comes to fix it.

Everyone was helpful which was great because this is my first home.

Care about customer concerns.

I had a great home buying experience, the process was so smooth and seamless. the Construction Supervisor Brett is an awesome person, always present and ready to help. even after moving in he is always near by monitoring the other home builds and always ready to answer questions and help when asked. I am happy with the quality of work in our home as well, i have not had anything stand out yet. the Tough market was a bit of a negative factor, we had been first on the list for the desired Lot for almost 4 months but when the time came we had to sign a contingent offer, which allowed Lennar to bump us if some one came with out the contingency. So we felt pressured to risk the deposit and remove the contingency. In the end we are very please with the process, the home, and the staff. Thank you Lennar Maple Hills Team ... More

Hello! My expirence doing the financial process with Lennar it wasn't pleasant as I was actuallyexpecting. The person that it was in charge of requesting information seemed she didn't know what she was doing. She made the process stressful. We had a back up Lender and the process was simple and way easier. The day that we received the keys was another stressful day since the garage didn't open and one of the keys open the house once, but didn't work again until Lennar come and fix them 2 weeks later. When finally we come inside the house I almost cried because the house has stains all over and the floor was dirty. The house was not the way it was promised. On the orientation they told us that we will receive a voucher for paint and we haven't receive it. So far I love my house and the community. Also, it is easy to report something when it breaks and Lennar makes sure everything is fine. ... More

Our home was ready early. We were not prepared for this and it has cost of several thousand dollars. The lack of communication from our sales associate was very poor.

i had issues with lennar mortgage... but once lennars real estate agent found out he immediatly started the process to fix the wrongs.. David was extroridnarly effective an helpfull. from that point on i would give Lennar 10 stars if i could.. once the closeing finished we were completly overwhelmed with the quality, professionalism, and compasion Lennar showed l.. i would recommend them 100%.. The lennar mortgage company well i had issues with them, maybe you wont so you can try then them make your opinion...

Seems the ball gets dropped from sales to builder one blames the other when something is missed example pre-construction meeting. I was never notified. The builder blamed sales and sales blamed builder. Didn’t help me much as was all over and done with

The mortgage company was not smooth. Our representative left in the middle of it and no one notified us of this for awhile. It wasn’t made easy to understand what was going one.

I found Lennar to be excellent builder very easy to deal with. I am proud to say they are my Builder, and that I own a Lennar home.

The agent that sold me the home was great. Every one involved was great. The issues I have had with the house are things like no towel racks in bathrooms, no faucet out back, no knobs or pulls on cabinet drawers and doors, no doorbell and the yard is very uneven. I realize the sod is new but I had new sod in my last home but it was flat. I am 78 with walking issues and have has a couple falls just walking outside.

Mortgage processing- mortgage officer and underwriter were not on the same page and didn’t respond in timely manner. I asked to put down 5% but they had my closing paperwork with 10% down payment. Closing was postponed and then i was super rushed. After closing was postponed, I told Lennar that i have to be out house i sold by certain date but they still scheduled my closing on the same date i had to be out of my previous home. I had to literally pack, close, and move on the same day.

Watch home inspection videos online, hire a professional and then go over every detail. New builds seem to have a lot of issues whether small or big.

My biggest problem is with the shifting of closing costs to the buyer. As a real estate attorney in Illinois I am not used to everything being shifted to the buyer and so many "made up" costs like the builders' fee. Isn't the builders fee the price of the house?

My overall experience in dealing with a thenar was OK. The app was not a joy at all. I would rate it or two out of five. Though the people I talk to in the office were prompt, courteous, and professional, which helped me deal with the whole app situation. Again, I wish I was made aware of the fact that in the townhomes you have investors who will be renting out properties. My experience in the past has been that investors are poor landlords, and the property values for surrounding properties are dragged down and the transient people that move in and out don’t care about the property in the property start to look shabby, which affects my home and it’s value. ... The whole team was quite attentive minus the Lennar Sales Concierge, calls or emails were almost ever returned. I was unsure what this role entailed as there was no assistance in that matter. The lender side was extremely responsive and attentive, quick as well.

Alan, Lennar seller / builder help out a lot in this process. Really want to point this out.

This is my second Lennar purchase. The actual home buying experience was Rocki, and there was turnover in the personnel that I worked with that complicated the situation. Ultimately, we were able to resolve all of the hiccups and closed. The folks at Lennar Title were very pleasant and responsive. The Lennar mortgage team was more hit and miss. I did not feel that the homebuyer orientation covered everything that it should have, but I’m happily settling in. And generally pleased with the purchase.
