From start to finish, Lennar lied, exaggerated, and undelivered on everything. I’ve left negative reviews on every single platform and will continue to do so.

We went with Lennar because we got more bang for our buck. However, it came with a price. Read below. The sales guy was our first interaction with Lennar. He was very condescending and not very responsive most times. He always seized the opportunity to say something condescending. Often times when he felt that he was repeating himself he would say "I said" or "like I said" or "I already told." He rubbed me the wrong way the entire time. Once we went under contract I don't think we heard from him. The experience with Lennar and especially that guy was very transactional. Underwriting was a disaster. It was the single most stressful situation I have ever encountered. The lady who was assisting the underwriter was not doing her job. She would wait until the last minute to request documents from me. I would always get them back same day. Needless to say, she caused our closing date to be pushed out. I had all of my paperwork together and ducks in a row before I started the homebuying process, but the way that underwriting went, you would have thought I was an offender who could not be in so many feet of a school or something. My loan officer was remarkable. Her name is Karlene. She gave me a peace of mind during all of the underwriting drama. The quality of the home is still TBD. We have been here three months and have already had plumbing issues in a bathroom that we seldom use. The craftsmanship of the homes is sloppy. During our walkthrough I requested that several issues be addressed. One issue was a noticeable slope in one of the bedrooms upstairs. Their contractor reworked it a couple of times but it is still there. According to the builders, there is a percentage of correction that they must meet. Some issues were masked and not actually corrected. Lennar chalks that up as cosmetic. I assume that means those issues aren't important, despite the price tag on the homes. We also had some wiring issues that required Lennar to send their contractor out. We have a whole in our drywall that I must put a work order in to repair. The wall in which the dryer vent comes from is not finished. I pointed that out multiple times prior to closing. I must put a work order in there as well. I don't think the contractors are managed well. The homes being built in my community (Balm Grove) are left wide open all night. There has been times when we would ride by at night and all of the lights are left on and the garage and fronts doors are left open. Imagine the critters. Hence, the reason that we had a pest issue upon move in. Oh and it is frustrating to watch the progress of your home being built, only to come back the next day to see that another contractor damaged what was newly installed. Luckily for us, we lived nearby and was able to spot these issues daily. Not so fortunate for the people who do not have that opportunity. I want to circle back to the arrogant salesman. I noticed that some buyers were welcomed into the community with signs and balloons at their home. Not us. Not so much as a thank you card, but I am sure that guy received a pretty hefty commission on a nearly half a million dollar home. Lastly, on closing day, the people that we encountered we nice. Maybe the processing department. Please note, I experienced other issues but did not mention every single detail because some of them were addressed during our walk through. My best advice is to go with your gut when deciding whom to work with. Have a realtor! She was my saving grace when dealing with the not so friendly salesman. Also, document everything. Try to have all affairs in order before underwriting because if you get the same pair that I worked with, it will be a headache. I heard that some of my neighbors experienced worse. Also keep in mind that Lennar does sell to investors which means that after what I believe is a 60 day waiting period, your neighborhood will have renters. Nothing against renters but do your research on the Triple Creek drama and join the community FB group (if allowed) prior to purchasing. Best of luck! ... More

Call me if you really want to know. Most certainly the worst buying experience I've ever had. HORRIBLE customer service. & response times.

The start of the process was great, the sales team and mortgage group did an outstanding job (great communication, attentive to questions and concerns and just a pleasure to deal with). The walkthroughs were ok, a bit rushed and even items pointed out prior to the walkthrough weren’t all corrected (some weren’t corrected after the first walkthrough, and were rushed to correct just prior to closing), because of this several items were missed. The warranty group, although they are polite, they did not address the issue we were having and even closed the warranty ticket after an escalation request was made…that is poor customer service. It was clearly communicated with the warranty advisor that we disagreed and wanted to see the data on why it was denied, instead they closed the ticket. If they showed that our request was wrong and explained why, we would have accepted that, instead they closed the ticket. As far as the neighborhood is concerned, so far it is good, my only complaint would be to make the HOA/Clubhouse structure easier on the homeowner (having to access 3 or 4 different websites and payments to each is a nightmare…if you can even get access). It’s a shame because Lennar had the ability to get a great review but they choose not to. I liked the process of checking new properties and the overall level of communication from their departments.

Salesperson great no problem very nice,title company good no problem, building manager not very friendly and there was issues with outside house paint he did not want to take care off it, I had to talk to other people to solve the problem,building manager not very good

The entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in was very good.

The sales team at my subdivision was wonderful. However, the building process and the quality of my home is not worth the price point. I had to spend more money to correct cracked floors, a broken truss and framing that included “organic growth” that the builder said wasn’t mold. I have barely been in my home 60days and it’s clear that there was no attention given to detail. The ceilings are already separating from crown molding, walls separating from baseboards, issues pointed out at the final walk-through have reappeared.and window sills separating. In my mind, some of that is to be expected within six months to a year, but less than three months? For the price point, the craftsmanship is disappointing to say the least. ... More

The process was rushed so couldn’t shop for our own lender or insurance. That caused multiple closing issues. Need minor things fixed and still waiting. Overall wonderful build but process frustrating.

Sales, Title, Escrow, etc, etc. Really a professional, competent, and pleasant group of people to work with. They really accomodated to make things as easy as possible for me! Thank You!

Everyone concerned was always ready to show us homes we were interested in no matter how many times we asked to re-visit! The entire buying experience went very smoothly and quickly. The only downside for us was having to wait until the house was finished and move-in ready. Our initial walk-thru went well; only a few very minor details needed to be taken care of. The 2nd walk-through showed all items we had marked having been taken care of.

Opinion solicited by Lennar and in no way intended to libel or defame anyone. Initially our sales representative Michael verbally floated us pricing that garnered our interest. Somehow they seemed to vanish. I eventually negotiated a price that at least was close to the prices I had heard in the beginning. Then I was informed that he had no authority to sales purchase pricing and would submit my offer but thought it would not be acceptable. He later told me that Lennar wasn’t going to agree to my offer but he thought up a solution that Lennar agreed to accept. His solution was that my purchase price would be acceptable if we’re willing to agree to pay an additional full interest point above my exceptional credit rating I qualified for. Salesman with no authority working on behalf of my best interests was suddenly permitted to think up a way to help me out? Michael orchestrated a deal that would financially benefit Lennar with more of my money. Unfortunately for Lennar I paid off my mortgage prior to the first mortgage payment due date. I purchased my home for a price I was satisfied with and the excessive additional interest point didn’t cost me a penny. Trust solely in yourselves. Its your money. ... More

I had an awesome experience from day 1. I highly recommend Lennar!

Good communication and trustworthy and nice

The only real issue I had was that I didn't want to use their pool vendor because of previous experience I had with then at Babcock National, I kept reminding them of that I was going to use my own pool contractor but they still put 3 large trees in the area for my Lanai and did did landscaping where pool would be built. I now have to move all that landscaping when they could have done the landscaping for a pool installation which they have.

So far everything has gone as expected. Our home is perfect and what wasn’t has been resolved. Thank you Lennar.

Each and every Lennar personnel were knowledgeable and professional. There was no pressures and they provided me with options to meet my needs and wants. Thankfully, there were a few different style homes and the staff were patient in showing me all of them that met my criteria. Actually, the home I purchased was not even on my self chosen list. After making my decision, each member from the mortgage preparation to the closing explained the steps and provided guidance. As with any home purchase, you may need some tweaks addressed. The process to request some assistance in having a service technician come look at my inquiry has also been great. They are extremely timely in their response and the issues have been resolved. everything went well so far

As I’m living here I’m finding a lot of little things that could had been corrected. I do not think Lennar uses a quality assurance person to check their work. Examples: Uneven drywall Vents that shake and make noise Cracks in drywall Weeping holes that protrudes out the house Creaks in stairs weather strips falling off doors Entrance doors that won’t lock Chipping of cement in garage floor

I wouldn’t trust Lennar to build a tiny home for a dog. Let alone another home for me. The saleswoman lied and was terrible, the construction team lied and made excuses for everything, the craftsmanship of this entire home is complete trash. We requested our earnest back when the backyard fell in and were told no- when you all to date have done nothing to fix it. The soil is so terrible back there the trees behind the home can’t even withstand a normal rainy day.

Everyone’s experience is different but ours was positive. Due to hurricanes and personal issues closing needed to be remote and that was simple. Communication with loan officer, Josh and others involved was timely and always supportive. We were fortunate to have had a wonderful realtor , denise and a wonderful project manager, JB. Our unit had some unfinished work but communication was responsive and everything was promptly completed. The timeline for our unit was close to expected; the amenities are unfortunately taking longer. Overall, our experience with the entire team was favorable and we are looking forward to being apart of the community. ... More

make sure you have everything on paper they say or will denied it

Over all everything went as expected from first day to closeout. Some small issues were resolved for HVAC. Not satisfied for appliebces provided by Lennar of low quality and not to the standard for this prise of the house they charged. Post boxes provide by them are horrible and not at proper location.
