Lennar staff are professional, caring and a pleasure to work with, however, the amount of paperwork and signatures are a lot. The buying experience is overwhelming for my age.

It was great to work with Brian. The process was very smooth. Everyone with Lennar title were very helpful during the closing. Highly recommend.

I would not trust anything they say. They promise things in a home and then when it is built those promises were “oopsies” or “I stuck my foot in my mouth”. If you purchase a Lennar home I highly recommend getting a third party inspection. There are gas leaks in a lot of homes in the neighborhood and Lennar refuses to take accountability. My oven still wreaks of gas after a while of being here and having multiple people come and “fix” the problem. Customer service is non existent. Area managers and sales will refuse to speak with you once you bring up an issue. My mistake was signing for this home. ... More

A very frustrating experience as many communication issues and disorganization were present from the beginning until closing. especially for a first-time home buyer.

Everyone has been amazing. Danielle, Char, Scott... it has been a wonderful and easy experience. The home is stunning and filled with light, beauty, and quality craftsmanship!

Buying a new home with Lennar was pretty straightforward. We went in to see a model home, we liked it and continued to sign a purchase agreement. We put an earnest money deposit and in a month we closed the deal. Our salesperson was transparent and helpful along with all Mortgage team. The house looks great, very spacious and bright. We would like to buy more homes with Lennar in the near future.

I’m very happy with my house and where we are in the neighborhood, however, the HOA is non existent and something needs to be done about it.

There are not enough negative adjectives to accurately describe how horrendous our experience with Lennar Mortgage was. We would get sent a message, we’d respond with a question and no one would get back to us for days. Our initial application sat on the underwriters desk for 2 weeks when Lennar pushes closing within a month. We spent over 5 hours on the phone with their 3rd party credit company only to be told we need to send in documents for all the questions they spent the 5 hours going through. I don’t mind getting the documents but it was a complete waste of 5 hours when I could have gotten the documentation in the first place. We would also upload documents into the Lennar portal and they wouldn’t review them and then asked for them again and I would turn around and tell them the day and time it was uploaded. Even on closing day we were told our keys were at closing, get to closing and they say the keys aren’t there and they didn’t have the numbers to call to figure out who had the keys. My husband and I had to find numbers and call around to figure out where our keys actually were. The house itself is fine, typical builder home but the mortgage process was so horrible I’ll never consider buying from Lennar again. ... More

We had a great buying process, from start to finish it was very easy. Jenn sold us from the first meeting, she was fantastic and answered every question we had. The mortgage team was efficient and helped us with any questions that popped up. Overall extremely pleased with our experience.

Lennar reps for construction are horrible to respond to issues. I moved in and the final walk through (the same day as closing), 2 hours before, there is issues in the house that was not fixed that I was promised would be fixed. The paint and touch ups on the wall were not fixed, I have a broken cabinet that I was told someone would be out to “temporarily fix” which was to Caulk it and I’d be placed in the system as a potential cabinet replacement if it’s not up to standard and that we would be in touch.. This was on 3/16 the day I closed. And I have yet to hear back no matter how many times I call or text the managers cell phone. There is flooring that is chipped underneath the rug by the entrance door. I notified the same guy at the same time about the flooring. Same thing, we would have that scheduled for it to be fixed. The front door seal is already falling apart. Overall, I do not think I will buy another house from Lennar. I use to love the houses that were made, but it’s clear that it’s simply cheap and well over priced for the sq footage especially the quality of work done. Not to mention, I’m not allowed to put a fence in the easement but Lennars landscape company is allowed to plant a tree over it. Lennar is great to work with and is priced right! My only complaint is that it is almost impossible to get ceiling fans in these new homes. We live in Texas and it gets very hot here. WE NEED CEILING FANS

Very simple process. The lender even had a down payment incentive. Everything went as scheduled.

They moved the day to close so we had to pay for another night of keeping our stuff on the truck and had to pay another $300 for a hotel. The floors are very uneven and one of our trees in the back is not straight. Phil was great!

We had a very positive experience throughout the home buying process. The team was professional, responsive, and made everything feel smooth from start to finish. They answered our questions quickly and kept us informed every step of the way. The quality of the home itself has also been impressive. The craftsmanship, layout, and finishes really stood out, and you can tell care was put into the construction. There were a few minor issues after move-in, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five, but overall we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend them to others looking for a new home. ... The process of buying our home was relativity quick and easy. The house is overall a good price, but definitely some things that were cheaply done/ built. As well as things that we asked to fix during our final walk through were not fixed fully. You can just tell it was done quickly, but that’s kind of what you expect in a new build. Overall, a positive experience.

Overall process was smooth. I used all of Lennar's in-house services (loan, insurance, and title). Good communication with the team and streamlined the process. Their prices can't be beat, but you do get what you paid for. Lower build quality and materials compared to other builders, but we knew that before getting into it.

They rush you thru paperwork, bury important info in digital signed documents, no option to dispute anything you are signing. Rush you thru walk thru, identify issues, and they NEVER come back to fix anything. We have light coming in under our Front door jam, and light shining in thru the wall between entrance and garage wall at the baseboards. They rush to finish and close, they don't care about the customers. Then when we get closed, they sell your mortgage to some fly by night company. The "digital signing everything" is the worst process! We have custom built a home before, and bought 2 existing homes, No closing or application was this horrible. We have Constant bug and knats crawling in from outside thru the tub surround that was slapped up. Glue all over the vinyl flooring that we have to scrub and scratch off. Paint all over the windows that they never cleaned up. Realtor who worked for Lennar collected his closing check, never to be heard from again. No one cares. Just a cheap cookie cutter house close to our relatives. ... More

Great sales person. Very knowledgeable.

Lennar has been very responsive to all request regarding any issues with our home from screen doors to door adjustments. We are quite pleased with entire process from purchase to homeowner with our new home.

Melissa, our mortgage loan officer, was fantastic and went out of her way to help with the mortgage loan process. However, the Lennar underwriters were terrible. They waited until the last minute before closing, then expected us to jump through hoops, gave no clear instructions on what they needed or how, called while we were in the middle of packing, were unreachable for return calls, and ultimately caused our closing to be delayed which put a wrench in the entire process.

My experience with professional customer care representative Rose was excellent and sincere. She was easy to get in touch with and /or quick to return my calls.

Quality of house is poor. Paint on the wall and cabinets is awful, we need better quality of work. Also process of Lennar mortgage was horrible. Hard to reach out people when we have question . No one call back or reply to even emails . Also house construction was not that good either . Carpet installation on stairs are bad. Fooled are uneven .
