The overall home quality is poor. The workmanship is horrible with lots of items unfinished and poorly done. It seems to be no quality control of the workers work. Appliances are cheap and dangerous. The home is not the same as the model we were shown. Different floor plan. Basically the house is a double wide trailer on a cement slab. Regret the purchase and wouldn't recommend Lennar as a builder.

Great price and mortgage rate

This was second home-buying experience with Lennar and they are a well-run and professional home-builder. Their properties are well-built with quality materials. Their staff are very responsive and well-trained. I would purchase from Lennar again in the future

Great location for resale but I was really attracted to the amenities. The walking trail and park provide areas for enjoyment. I love the continuous sidewalks as well. The convenience of shopping and proximity to Raleigh is also attractive.

It was really awesome there is an entire team that walks you thru the process. You start in sales then you get a concierge and your salesperson and concierge work together to handle any questions or concerns you have. They reach out to the construction manager. It was the best experience ever.

Overall had been below average, ok experience on an experience, high priced home, but, could have been a lot better.

Was happy to move in until we needed heating. We had no heat. It took 3 repairman to figure out the problems. 1. Heating was set up for heat pump and we should have been set up for gas. 2. Had a shut off valve that kept overheating. 3. The reason the valve was overheating because the blower for the exhaust was blowing into the condensation drain. Causing a loud noise in the laundry room and not venting the gases away. This makes me believe other problems will arise due to lack of follow through by quality ensurance.

Purchasing with Lennar was a breeze. It was a very easy process, and the house was rightly priced. I used the mortgage and the title that Lennar had and everything was taken care for me

The actual purchase experience went smoothly. The workmanship & quality of the house is poor for the price paid. The appliances are very basic. You would expect more for the price paid. The quality of the engineered floors & tiles are awful. The tile work is unprofessional. The grout & caulk work is very messy. The woodwork around the doors and on the window sills were not cut evenly and was rough in many areas. The paint job is also messy with many paint spots that are on the wood floors. The walls have many areas where the paint didn’t cover & bumps on the walls from the paint. It was very disappointing to deal with the many problems that was not expected in a new home. The workers that came to fix some of the problems did not do a professional job. We had a tile replaced in the bathroom & smoothing out some of the grout. There is an area where the new grout is a lot darker than the rest of the grout on the shower floor. We did get quick responses when we reported a problem but the repair people did not do a great job. Some workers didn’t speak English & it was difficult communicating with them. ... More

I have never seen such a poor constructed home in my life. I spent a lot of money and didn’t even have towel racks. What house doesn’t come with basics. I have walls not to code. My backyard is full of boulders and nails and all kinds of stuff. The workers just threw whatever was dropped or wasted and covered it up with dirt. I have kids and though I have raked and raked trying to get all this mess up so any of us don’t step on nails but it’s a struggle. They are all great thru the buying process and then you realize what a mess .

Customer care is excellent

Great buying experience- Denise and Frank were stellar. They were the one’s who made the whole experience, which can be very stressful, worth the effort to remain engaged with Lennar.

It’s a new house a lot of little things need repair we’ll see how they respond to them

I purchased my home online from another state and Marnina is the very reason I ended up buying with Lennar. She listened to my needs and did video tours in the TX heat to show me different homes. This house is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to do all steps of the process with Lennar resources.

I was constantly lied to by the construction manager that things would be fixed before closing and it wasn’t. Now every week I’m dealing with the warranty department which that person said this house should never have been closed on in the shape that it was in. I’m trying to get a petition on Lennar from other homeowners that have problems. Fire your construction manager.

The construction and quality of build was exactly as expected. The financing promised was misleading and in the last 30 days before closing I was forced to find a new lender. The recommended “sister” company handed things off to a new associate who constantly asked for items he already had access to. Additionally they blatantly lied to me regarding their efforts to verify employment which delayed underwriting who then changed the loan terms right before closing costing me around $10,000 over the life of the loan. My advice is to find your own financing and avoid the headache.

Second time home builder, first with Lennar. We knew we were going to be limited with the ‘upgrades’ with our new Lennar home, so we presumed it would help simplify and enhance the quality of the build all that goes with it. Unfortunately that was not the case, Inspection processes and procedures were not good. I mentioned we’ve build a home before, however with our build with Lennar, I was repeatedly told that issues identified on the “punch-lists” were being addressed… only to find out they were not! I was simply lied to by the construction manager I was working with. As of the time of this writing, we are still working through those same ‘punch-list’ items…now having to go through the Lennar Warranty processes and procedures which makes our days very disruptive and inconvenient as a new homeowner. Communication was sub par when it came to closing in on our closing date. We essentially were left confused as to when and how the closing was going to happen. It was a ‘scramble’ at our closing. Proactive communication (even if its a call explaining when and how things will take place should be a priority. The only savior in this was our salesman. He went above and beyond to help us during our challenges. Overall, I would come to expect more from a company/brand such as Lennar. I will defiantly be telling our ‘tales’ of this experience to others. ... More

We had a virtual closing which went fine and final walk through had to be done by a friend that lives in Florida as we closed between the two hurricanes and couldn’t get there. I was very disappointed with the amount of paint splattered on floors and caulking smeared on bathroom floors. It wasn’t as clean as the Lennar house I purchased in 2016. The garage floor should have been poured past the outside of garage door, instead the interlocking was brought into the garage where the ants are nesting in the sand and also left large gapping holes on either side of garage door. My family and I moved from another state up north. We totally love it here. The community is very quiet and our new neighbors are great! Heidi, our sales rep, is wonderful! She is such an asset to Sunfish Cove! She has helped my family and I tremendously.

From our first interaction with sales rep though some minor questions after moving in, the entire Lennar team has been wonderful.

Lennar's timely communication about the process and reminders about crucial dates and deadlines helped me through the homebuying process.

I had issues with the entire buying process except titling and the final walkthrough with Scott and Saul. My sales rep CC was my least favorite person with this deal luckily I had my own realtors on my side to oversee her. The best part of this ordeal is Scott from the construction team always available for a call or to help in the house even after the sale. This guy is a true asset to the Lennar team. The title team another great asset to Lennar. However your sales and sales support throughout the process to include your finance people were absolutely horrible. Luckily my financial people caught a huge mistake in the financing of this home and we switch gears and made it happen. But again it was me and my team that realized the issue and Tammy had no clue what she was doing. ... More

There have been quite a few workmanship issues but with the speed at which they are putting up houses, it's not surprising. Thank God for the 1 year warranty. Going to get as much fixed as I find

We had a good experience from the beginning until we got to the loan portion of the process. We used Lennar Mortgage company which I would not do again. The loan processor was slow with information if we got it at all and didn't tell us critical things we needed to know, we finally had to get his boss involved before things turned around. We are happy with the house and the final walk through was great, as Mike was very accommodating in getting the things done that were found.
