Our experience with buying a home from Lennar was a great one. Our Loan Officer, Michelle, and Sales Representative, Michael, was fantastic. They were on it every step of the way and we had some ups and downs but they hung in there with us until we closed. A few minor things discovered after we moved in but all in all we are very happy with the home we purchased from Lennar.

My home buying experience was traumatic and stressful. I’m told by other home buyers that that’s just the way it is. I don’t see why. I’m blessed to have my home since it happened because of Hurricane Beryl but the endless questions (many I answered more than once), the paperwork asked for at unreasonable times of day and night caused me anxiety. In the end, my happiness in buying my first home was overshadowed by exhaustion and relief. Fun fact; I learned that TX homes don’t automatically come with shutters (I just paid for that, it affects your foundation in the long run but it’s on the homeowner). They also saw no need to give towel racks and I’m missing a closet shelf on purpose (I have to install my own if I want one.) Did I mention I’m tired? ... More

My overall experience with lennar was great and I am very happy and satisfied with the house. Victoria on the other hand made me feel stupid and as if I was wasting her time and was very rude toward me and my real estate agent. Countless times she would make comments making me feel less intelligent and she almost made the deal fall through several times throughout the experience. She also made several comments that were extremely unprofessional towards my real estate agent. Victoria would be a serious issue in my opinion for future sales and without her in the process this would have been one of the best experiences. ... More

I would not recommend anyone to Lennar. Quality issues and an electric water heater that sounds like a compressor. Electricity bill 4xs the amount of my neighbors. Ridiculous experience.

i want to thank everyone for working hard at the closing crunch time to get me home...the people i met were cool and did care about the situation. everyone did their best to get that closing day. thank you

Kathy, the realtor is very nice. Denise in customer support is great. Very helpful. Ryan, Joe and Justin very nice. On walkthrough before closing, we placed blue tape in areas that needed to be fixed. When I went in a week later to get some measurements, a lot of the blue tape was lying on the floor. Some areas had been fixed and others not. I picked it up and put it back on the places that needed to be taken care of. On the final walk-through found several more things that were basically just shoddy workmanship. There was one place that was really bad on the island and I was told there was nothing they would do about it. Was not happy about it but did not let it stop me from buying the house since I wanted one in this area. I was really shocked to find out that none of the windows come with any screens, and none of the cabinets (kitchen or bath) come with any handles or knobs. There is no lighting over the island or where the dining room table would sit., only around one side of the dining and living rooms. None of these things are options you can get. You have to have them done/added at your own expense. There is no caulking between the quarter round and the floors in the bathrooms leaving a gap and this area open for water to get underneath when you get in and out of the tub. As I said, not the best workmanship for sure. Downspout runs into flowerbed at edge of sidewalk where it washes the mulch out onto the sidewalk causing a walk hazard and leaves a hole where the mulch washes out. Sidewalk has to be swept and cleaned each time it rains. ... More

Attention to details as discussed in person. Several items we discussed were left incomplete from the original report. I did advise that my home back in GA was closing and I needed things listed completed. Less than month into my new home and we have a leak in the guest bathroom that I found while storing some things away. When I walked through final inspection, home was still being worked on. Told it would be cleaned and ready to go, but it was not. Nonetheless, I had to move and get ready to go back to work asap. At this point I’ll do my best to cleanup and repair / replace items left off. Carlo Torres was a great to work with. Answered all my questions and kept me on other available property’s within the community. When I lost the first property to another buyer, he quickly worked with me to locate another model within a few days. ... More

I am so grateful that I was recommended Lennar builders because they gave me a chance to be a homeowner again after selling my last home with really bad broken Foundation. Being on disability Lennar builders gave me a chance and also I have brand new affordable living. How can you beat that ? Thank God for Lennar builders and all of their hard working team.

Everything was done well, from the models (self guided tours) and buying process with Melissa. Always quick responses and very knowledgeable. New construction, so far is excellent.

Customer service is not good. The master bedroom shower is useless with no tap at the bottom and sliding glass door is hard to clean. The master bedroom wic is literally in the corner you have to walk through the bathroom to get there and there is no power outlet in it. I told my desire what type of home I am looking for but the Lennar team was very cold. They didn't help me to find my first home to be my dream home. I wish it could be my dream home. The team you have is not supporting at all. We moved from New Jersey for this home. The team was not cooperating with us to find the perfect home

From start to finish in our new townhome we felt like Lennar was artificially rushing the closing process, while completely missing deadlines on their end. We were in no hurry to close, but the Lennar agent was adamant it happened ASAP. They set an overly optimistic close date, and we agreed (thinking they could still have the home ready). During the first walkthrough, several issues were identified and added to their blue tape list. We had also been told appliances would be dropped off morning of first inspection, they were not. After a week, final inspection date comes and not only have the issues been left unresolved, appliances still aren’t installed. Not to mention the cleaning crew was apparently scheduled at the same time as the walk, so we had to work around them. They still expected us to close the next day, without personally verifying any of said issues had been addressed. I am not impressed with Lennar. If they weren’t adamant on closing under two weeks from signing nearly all of these issues would have been avoided! ... More

It looks like nobody cares about customer satisfaction. I trusted phone conversations or massages about the final walking review of my home and in less than first month in the house I had very bad experience with one of the appliances.All I can say is good luck to whom is in the process of baying a Lennar home.

First time buying Lennar home so not aware of negotiation. Me and my neighbors bought same model house around same time but they got 50k less than , what I paid. It is more than 10% discount they got. Even other side neighbor negotiated 70k on listed price. Now I am feeling like fool to buy this house.

The entire Lennar process was great, not only was it quick to get me in my new home but so many added bonuses in the process. I would totally suggest anyone looking at new homes to check out Lennar they take the time to answer your questions and the process is friendly and quick, it was just what I needed to get into my new home, and I love it!!!

Lennar concierge and customer care were very helpful, responsive, prompt in addressing, meeting my needs and concerns about the new home purchase.

My house was very well built. House is well laid out for function and use. This is my 4th new house. The only negative is they don't put the little touches in house. There is not towel rack in bathrooms or medicine cabinet. Lennar built my first house 26 years ago and they had everything in it. I would rate my house a 9 out of 10 because they did not do the little things that would have made the house 100% complete. I am happy with the house and workmanship. I would recommend a Lennar home. Overall, the communication is horrible. Maybe there's a rule that "do not answer the phone" by Lennar. My sales agent has never answered the phone, and the response time for texts is at least a few days later, and no response at all sometimes. Lennar is well-known with quality builders, and people expect quality employees from Lennar. However, the level of service they are provided is very disappointing.

Buying a lennar home has been good for me and my family because of the home you get for the price. Some things seemed rushed during the building process you can tell. But any issue that arises it has been replaced or fixed immediately.

I had a very annoying intermittent sound in the house that was difficult to identify. The customer service reps paid immediate attention and got the right people out to investigate and fix the problem. Very professional. I could not have asked for better service.

Had a severe hot water pipe leak a day after moving in. Lennard’s customer rep assured us we’re not responsible for repairs, including a $790 third-party plumbing job on Sunday. Despite numerous email requests, Lennar ignored us.

Love my new home and the neighborhood.
