While we entered this process preferring a custom build on our own land, when we saw what Lennar was offering in what has now become our new home and community, we decided to go forward with them. And we couldn't be happier now that we did. Throughout the process they were, in addition to other important qualities, honest above all with everything - their construction of our home and what they could and could not do, the schedule for every step (which was met throughout), their answers to each of our questions, their collaboration with the other entities involved (our agent, mortgage lender, title agency, etc.), and every other aspect of the process. And the final result has been even more than we had hoped and expected. Don’t don’t don’t don’t dont

It’s been a horrible experience from beginning to end. I had to fight for a month and a half with Lennar to finally close on my house for they consistently had issues on their end and were not communicative about anything. I am a single woman and they dragged my process along without communicating with me at all. I finally got a MALE ADULT to go to the Lennar building and he got my house keys in two minutes. They have been dismissive, ignoring messages and calls, and no care for the time i have to take off to deal with things i found out should’ve been dealt with by Lennar. It’s been almost 3 months and i still cannot live in my house due to issues Lennar gave me, and then there’s a massive leak in the ceiling that started before i even closed. Lennar took a long time fix the leak and i still have a massive hole in the ceiling. They set up appointments that the companies don’t show up for or they show up at completely different times and days that were scheduled. The workers of the drywall company they hire to fix the hole in the ceiling is the only decent experience i’ve had so far where they were actually honest and informative and not taking advantage of me. I'm very happy & satisfied with our new house we purchased from Lennar. Great quality for the best prices. Our house plan is amazing, good finishing, love the paint colors Lennar uses & our after purchase experience is great! Can't ask for a better builder & sales experience. I would highly recommend Lennar!

The water heater is placed in the living room and there were two leaks and flooded my living room. This is a very bad design by Lennar. Not to mention the water heater makes loud noise and can be heard up stairs. Some of my neighbors have the same issues with the water heater.

From the time you choose a home until the time you move in Lennar is best in the business. The things after closing need a little help - like things that were pointed out during the walkthrough but missed in the repair - hard to get someone to care.

Randal if you buy a Lennar home you best look at it carefully and make them fix everything before you move in. I had sprinklers 8’ off the fence line and one in the neighbors yard, flat paint thought out the house, I had no heat or air conditioning for 5 days I have front and back doors with day light coming through them and my back yard floods every time it rains not to mention my interior doors don’t shut oh almost forgot pair on tile work.

If I had issues they were addressed.

MCcrea is refusing to fix vents in bathrooms that don't blow enough air, I went to the two model house and the vent in the bathrooms all of them blow strong air.

The process could have been better… Looks like shortcuts were taken with some issues… A week of being in the home we had no heat, the garage door needed to be repainted, and brick was coming off the house. Nonetheless, all issues were handled immediately. Our cable was cut twice by the trades building behind the house. The closing was streamlined and efficient.

Lennar purposly chose to install non outdoor rated posts for the fence, and immediately said that the fence isn't warrantable. Sounds very crooked.

Lennar is significantly better than most of the publicly held national builders. Very responsive, good quality home and they think of just about everything that you need in your home as part of the Everything Included program. Very good builder.

My experience with Cindy was great. Answered all of my questions and also gave me some pointers. Great company.

Very friendly experience, and good community. Would like see some benches around the walking edges of the pond.

The buying process was very good. The communication via email and texts became a little confusing and overwhelming. Easy to miss things. Pre-close walkthru went well. Most items were addressed prior to close date but some still needed attention. Getting multiple emails and texts and phone calls for warranty repairs became very confusing and tough to schedule or remember. It would help to have interactions regarding these repairs via one mode only (email, text, phone, etc.). And via one representative. (Streamlining this process would be helpful). We are pleased with our new Lennar home although for the price point of the home, we would love to have seen a little more attention to details. ... More

I had a great experience from start to closing. One negative comment, after closing when repairs was needed a response.

Don’t sit on completed homes.

The sales experience and closing was a very positive. I received construction progress updates on a regular bases. We closed a week earlier than originally planned. Lennar has been very responsive with repair requests. The only concern I have is the quality of the closet doors. There have been multiple issues with them which have been addressed but my concern is long term durability of the closet doors.

The home-buying experience was a pleasurable one with Lennar. This is my 5th home I have purchased so I have seen the good and bad. This was one of the good ones! The only thing I will say that disappointed us was the new home welcome walkthrough we were told we would have. We set the date for it and arrived and it was a standard home inspection and not the celebration-style walkthrough we were told it would be. We even brought our family along to celebrate with us. Outside of that one event ,everything else was above standard.

Loved every aspect of the homebuying exp
