My overall experience was 4 stars. If we were provided everything that was initially offered when the sales person walked us through the house, we would have rated it a 5 star. But as we got into the conversation with our agent and Lennar, things started falling apart; no appliances were to be provided (yet other spec homes were having appliances delivered to other homes in the same state as the one we were looking at), resolution to the promised appliances wasn't the same level of compensation, the house was "cleaned" before our walkthrough with Nichole (construction manager) and there were many areas that needed to be recleaned. The standards for a homebuyer is much greater than the builder and at the end of the day, I would have liked to see the builder's team to think as if it was their house and would they be okay with the outcome. Lennar mortgage, Christy, was great to deal with throughout the process. She was quick to respond and explain things thoroughly. The warranty department has been quick to tackle some minor issues post moving in and I've been happy with this experience. In the end, the sales team started the home purchasing off on the wrong foot. If Lennar could get the sales team to not lie or mislead, the homebuying experience would have been great. It was a good experience.

Mediocre workmanship, fast finish to meet their deadline, which meant even more corners were cut. Painting over light switches, bad wood stain on the railings. Overall pretty cheap looking. Plus the closing experience with Lennar Mortgage was a disaster. I would not buy another Lennar home.

On time. On budget. From point of sale through closing and beyond, Lennar has proven to be an exceptional company to work with. Thank you!

The process was smooth and Olie ,as well as all the people in the process, explained each step well.

There are serval persons I would like to acknowledge that made this experience a great one. Thank you Derrich (construction team). He sent me videos and kept me posted. His team made sure my home was ready an error free as possible. Cody: he was so very thorough in the walk thru. He went out of his way to work with Derrich before I got there to decrease any warranty defects before they would happen. And lastly, Gregg. I wouldn't have begun the process without him. He answered all my concerns up front and was excellent to work with. Thank you Lennar Team.

Lennar appeared to give a credit & made it seemed it was giving you a discount. The money i put back in this home including a deck & fence equals the same amount. Materials are cheap that's why it's warranted. Paint is horrible appliances broke & replaced less than 30 days. I've been here since October 30th & wish I could turn back the hands of time & brought with someone else. Please be careful when purchasing a home.Its affordable because it's built fast,cheap,& awkward.

Home buying experience was amazing everyone was very helpful. After we bought house and moved in we noticed a lot of issues with things missing and appliances damaged. We would put in work orders and then they would respond with “ contact manufacturer for warranty,” even when it was builders fault for issues. The builders left a lot of things unfinished we had to get them to come back and fix. Phillip the project manager to a different community has been the most helpful. If it wasn’t for him we would not be very happy with our experience with Lennar.

post service is really bad

I just bought a house in Georgetown TX from lennar. They promised internet that I have yet to receive. The floors are cheap and you can clean it enough, glue comes out on the floors. Inside cheap materials on countertops, cabinets. Not happy with lennar

Great neighborhood looking forward to the amenities. We are enjoying our house and where it’s located.

Low quality material and handwork

Do not appreciate HOA slow response and government like attitude. Had I known about the level of control, I would not have purchased a home from Lennar.

Terrible process. Rushed us into closing and had to postpone the closing 4 times because the house was not ready each time! Matter of fact.. even after postponing twice, we had our inspection done by an independent inspector and had over 140 items to be fixed/repaired or to be completed at that point! There were even trash and stuff everywhere in the house for the inspection! The layout of the house and the community plan attracted us there, but the construction experience was the worst we had in 40 years during which we built 3 other houses. They subcontract everything at cheap rate and have these guys doing so many houses in a row that it is done fast and it shows! Painters not covering dark cabinets to paint touch up with spray gun (white paint) and leave cabinets full of paint… just no pride in delivering a quality product! I mean.. we did pay over $960k for that house and knew it was a national builder… but we were expecting a little but more professionalism to be honest. Will not hire Lennar again to built a future house. ... More

The sales person I bought the home from retired and left me with no one to ask questions. When I tried to find answers., I would be routed several times before someone knew the answers. The person that helped me the most was the loan person. The loan person was very helpful and patient and I give him 5 stars. If it weren't for him, I probably would've walked away.

Just ok customer service from the entire staff, terrible service from their Lennar Mortgage though. I used to trust Lennar a lot, this was my 5th prop with them and never had these issues of poor customer service and hidden fees in mortgage and delays but this time it was not worth it. I only give less stars because of customer service, their people interactions and Lennar mortgage. Value for money and quality of house is good and there are no hidden surprises in cost and delivery.

I am licensed real estate agent, and this purchase is the worst experience I experienced in over 30 plus years in the business. I worked with Lennar previously and things did go smooth, but not this time. Things that went wrong : 1) I had a contingency to be respected. But it was ignored in the contract 2) house completion date that I was told was moved forward by 3 months which was not convenient at the time 3) steering toward “ Preffered lender”, which at first failed to communicate properly. Then, the “ best deal “ on mortgage rate was unacceptable, but the management did come thru here as they allowed outside lender at the last moment to step in 4) HOA document took a very long time to provide , and only got provided months after contract signing 5) walk through was done with no running water. This was communicated too late to cancel it. 6) items at walk through that were inoperable were put on the repair list, but not repaired prior to closing 7) repairing these items through Lennar warranty is proving to be difficult. ... Lennar required me to use their mortgage company even though I had negotiated in the contract to use my own mortgage company. If I used my mortgage company, Lennar would not honor the contract by rescinding the negotiated $17k in Seller Concessions, or would cancel the contract and keep my $30k in Earnest Money. One month late, Lennar Mortgage finally got loan approval. But they wanted $10k extra in loan costs. I settled on an 8 1/4% interest rate, not paying the extra $10k, and closed 2 days before the end of the month. Lennar wanted to close before the end of the month, so they could make their quota, but that ended up costing me one extra months mortgage payment. If we had closed 3 days later, I would have saved paying an extra payment. This was the worse experience buying properties from a builder in my 35+ years experience in real estate. The location is great. Our home is sub par in quality for a high price. If you’re looking for a home with absolutely no input or change options, this is your builder. The floors on the main level vibrate when you walk on them. The wall studs are 24” or more off center. The electrical work was poorly done. The covered ceiling fan outlets were placed in a horrible position. The fan in the great room was only 8” away from the TV and a foot off Center when installed. We had to have a new outlet placed 2ft back and a ft to the left. The fan outlet in owners bedroom same problem (2ft off center) There’s no quality control. How hard would it be to center the fans in the room. We had a home inspection done prior to closing, this identified a roofing issue that allowed water in the ceiling of the Owners bedroom. We asked for 2 months to get a copy of the wiring plan. Received it 2 weeks before closing. Too late to make sure things were done right. Make sure you take the time to ensure that things are placed correctly during the build process. The quick build process does not equal common sense quality. The kitchen cabinets are very basic with limited drawers. The bathroom cabinets are huge base cabinets with 4 doors. (No separation) There are only 3 drawers for dual sinks. No drawers in the desk. Least expensive layout possible The heat pump system seems to be too small for the house. It’s always running trying to get the temp up to 72 degrees. We haven’t experienced summer cooling yet. This is the 6th home build we’ve done. Very disappointed in the things we’ve had to fix at our expense,that should have been done right in he first place ... More

It was not a good experience from the start. We were told by the sales woman that Lennar did not offer VA loans. We found that to be incorrect. We have had many issues with the workmanship and have only been in the hone for less than 2 months.

Such a pleasant buy for a beautiful home in a lovely community. I appreciate the blinds, ring door bell, locks, appliances, nice showers etc. will enjoy my home

Houses are relatively inexpensive but with that comes shoddy workmanship. Quality control needs to be better
