Recently moved to hudson-2 home, surprised observing day to day problems. - poor quality of construction. - water leakage when i turn on heater. - fire sprinkler leaking water. - wooden floor tile is not properly installed. - paint is peeling if we just touch wall.

All team was so supportive from the first day to end. House is gorgeous. Loved it.

Let me start by saying, the home isnt all bad.. But after building two times before with different builders, I can tell the quality of lennar and the products they use are definitely not quality. The paint is flat and already flaking off after living in my home for 2 months. The baseboards are so small, they're almost non exsistent.

Second home purchased from Lennar, so you know we enjoy their homes! I feel this house was “rushed” compared to first home. Some of workmanship in this home not up to par— hoping with 60 day review items will be taken care of! Love our home and would buy another from Lennar- BUT WE ARE NEVER MOVING!!! :-)

Customer service after closing and buying has been helpful. However I’d wish the closing to have been much smoother than it was.

ON GENERAL THE PROCESS FOR BUY, THE VISITS BEFORE AND AFTER THE FINISH ALL GOOD. LENNAR IS EXCELLENT

It was not one banner up, nothing. After seeing the next 3 houses decorated with the same welcome celebration, I asked Noah what happen ? Why I did not get that? It was purely laughed off :(

The contractors are not working with quality in the constructions cheap ,materials, but it's ok

Received an overall beautiful home by Lennar. We were able to see the home as it was being built and check in on it periodically. At one point we noticed a giant in the concrete subfloor behind the fridge and asked our homebuyer concierge Cary Krepelin how this could be fixed. She said she relayed this information to the build team. Unfortunately we were unable to check on the status of this hole until we moved in and the flooring had already been laid on top. The foreman Robert told us this hole was covered with flashing..... which was a complete lie because we removed the flooring and the hole was still there, no one had made any attempts to fix it. I would rather not have been told a straight lie and just been told that the hole didn't need fixing. Cary K was a below average homebuyer concierge. She told us she would be the liaison for anything we needed during the homebuying process. This was just not true. She was hard to get in contact with, never had up to date information and would just talk in circles without addressing any of our legitimate questions. We always had to defer to Bridget (whom we had a great experience with and I highly recommend!) ... More

building and construction is good but their mortgage lender side could use a lot of improvement.

From the time I saw my home until the time we moved in, the process was smooth, easy and everyone was friendly and understanding. The home had a few "dings", but Lennar's team took care of all concerns quickly. I would recommend that the Lennar sales team make it clear that outside garage lighting, inside kitchen cabinet hardware and backsplash finish is not provided. That was my only surprise. As it turns out, we got to choose our own., but it should be mentioned at the start. I would recommend possibly considering another appliance provider. My husband played the golf course and loved it. He also enjoyed meeting many friendly people, and he had a great time at dinner. ... More

Lennar Bridgewater is a great community and I'm so glad and thankful for God's blessings. The home buying process was great overall but the underwriter MJ needs serious customer service training. She was rude, zero personality, and made it less desirable. Thankfully the Loan Officer was amazing by being God-fearing and a listening ear.

We fell in love with the model home we toured - it was beautiful, we loved the neighborhood, and it felt like the right move for our family. Everyone in sales was helpful and responsive, and we got the ball rolling fairly quickly. Then our "concierge" Kimberly became our first contact and she was extremely difficult to work with. I'd get confusing information, would ask a clarifying question, and would get only short, rude responses. She rarely answered my questions directly. Our closing date was moved by Lennar, which is fine, but came off the tails of me asking for a different time of day - her response to that request was that Lennar couldn't possibly figure out how to change the time of day, but she did remind me half a dozen times that if I changed the date, it'd incur a $300 fee. I don't recall getting $300 when they changed the date on us (ha) but when I asked if our pre-close walkthrough day was also changing, she responded in all caps something about charging us $300. It's crazy - I got the sense she thought we were being unreasonable but I was only looking to confirm dates before I upended my work schedule again. Our home inspector was frustrated working with Kimberly as well, he said she made it next to impossible for him to do his job. Likewise our mortgage contact kept changing to someone who was also rude and didn't answer our questions (Desiree) but our original contact, Julie, was responsive and fortunately would jump in to answer our questions. We purchased our home insurance through Lennar, they neglected to tell us it was through a 3rd party so I was concerned when I started getting emails from another insurer. They also sold our mortgage to a 3rd party right after close. Those kinds of things feel shady to me. It felt like every moment from sales to close was confusing, frustrating, and we were just tossed from one random person to the next and could only get scraps of information from any given person. Luckily, our main contact post-close has been wonderful. Dan is pleasant, helpful, responsive, and seems to actually care about us. We have found a few small issues around the house, which he addressed quickly. One larger issue outside has to wait until the spring, but we feel confident that Dan will help us resolve it. We love the home, the neighborhood, and would probably do it all over again given the chance. It's just a shame that a few customer service reps would be so terrible at customer service that the whole process felt shadowed by it. ... More

To many people asking for the same information

We closed on 10/30/2024 and couldn't wait to get into our new home. Unfortunately from the moment we moved in it's been issue after issue. Missing grout in the tile, broken tile, doors hitting each other, scratched sinks, trim not flushed to the wall, sloppy painting, misaligned doors, interior doors not finished on the bottom, holes in garage trim, chunks missing from concrete, cabinets shiny or rough.One thing after another and every time they come out, something else gets worse. What kind of builder leaves a house like this?!?! They finally repaired the concrete holes but damaged the pavers from wiping the wet concrete onto them. It took weeks to get the pavers replaced and once they replaced the pavers guess what? New chunks in the concrete!!! The only thing that has been fixed in two months is the sink . Stay away from Lennar!!! Very disappointed. ... More

100% satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased a new Lennar home and used Lennar finance/closing company. During the process I was required to register 3 seperate portals; building, finance and closing. During the process I recieved over 200 emails from Lennar employees. I have purchased several homes in the past and have never experienced this lack of communication/confusion that I did between Lennar employees. There is no reason company of this size can not streamline their process and make it more simplistic for the customer. I would never use Lennar finance/closing company again.

Great experience friendly staff and excellent value

From the start it was difficult bought a lot put our deposit down and a few weeks later we were told that we lost out lot to a cash buyer ! When we decided on another lot we had sold our house and had cash available ! The lending experience was a night mare ! We had a great realtor and helped us but it was right up to the end that they wanted several documents that had been given before ! The communication was not good and the follow up was very slow ? It was very aggravating and nerve racking the entire way !!

No sod or fence for several weeks so needed to deal with massive mud and inconvenience since having pets needing to go outside. The house was stated to have been cleaned but it was not. The flooring has paint splatters and black marks throughout the home, inside all cabinets were filthy so unpacking had to wait until I had to clean them. Most of the Lennar workers do not speak English. The outside pavement, doors, windows remain filthy so installing screens has been delayed. Kitchen cabinets had off-set issue which was fixed by replacing with unfinished cabinets so now new ones need to be ordered and replace. Attic door in the garage was not installed flush so a new ladder door has been sitting in my garage waiting for Lennar to replace. Strange electrical issues and the list goes on. Lennar care staff has been responsive and helpful but they should not have to manage so much via warranty service requests. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. Cheap is as cheap does. I had to pay to install ceiling fans as well. I love the area and did downsize from a beautiful home so it is what it is. ... More

every phase was first class from Dee in the sales office, the building on time, the walk through, Rusty in finance, the closing of course we love the home. One thing would be to let the buyer know that Lennar does offer insurance which is very reasonable. Apparently, there was some confusion about the availability in the state of California and so it should be made clear that at least in my area Lennar did provide insurance.
