Marcus, our sales rep, was great! We were a walk in and he showed us a floorplan which we really loved. He was attentive and knew exactly what we were working with and on the same page as far as pricing, lending, etc. With our approvals in place, we went into escrow. We did a home inspection, which we were basically rushed into because we were notified the Lennar Mortgage wanted to close a couple of weeks early (I'm guessing to meet end of month/quarter goals). We agreed because we just wanted to be on the same page as everyone and do what we needed to close the deal. We were promised that some of the items that weren't taken care of by closing would be taken care of such as missing cabinet shelf, concrete splatter on the walkway and driveway, an unfinished attic door, among other things. Once we received the keys, its as if they didn't care anymore. Our builder rep no longer returned any phone calls or text. I touched base with Marcus again and he was disappointed they left us hanging like that and just recommended I contact the warranty department and try to go that route. I've already done so and it has been a week since I've heard anything. My confidence level is low that they'll even get back to me. If you are thinking of buying with Lennar, I recommend holding the construction manager and building representatives accountable. Get their names and phone numbers and be proactive because they are likely too busy to contact you themselves. ... More

When evaluating purchase for Coach Home in Dec of 23 we were told completion would be in Q1 of 25. Contract stated that completion would be in Dec of 24. Actual completion was moved to Oct putting us under a financial strain to sell exit house in poor sales market of the summer and early fall months. We asked for help from Matt to move us to a later build in the schedule and that was met with cold indifference. HIs response was "you have to sell the house for loose your deposit." Financing options with Lennar were quite suspect. Offer of reduced closing costs were tied to using Lennar mortgage which were then offset by trumped up costs and higher than standard prices for closing. ... More

Don't work with Jennifer in sales and Whitney in the concierge dept unless you want a headache! Stay away from Lennar mortgage. Whitney is an untrustworthy person, they are not worth the headache.

Company has been absolutely horrible since moving into the house. I’ve been here for less than a month and a half. I’ve had a roof leak due to my vents not being installed properly. I’ve had breakers go out. I’ve had things not sealed and also I’ve had a hole open up in my lanai. Trades people have been scheduled to come out they no-show customer service reps also ghost you when you try to get a response out of them. I paid 421K for my house and Jesus Christ. I can’t believe paying that much money gets you such bad customer service Lennar is a horrible company. Do not buy go elsewhere.

The whole buying and closing process is simple and quick, with good pricing for a new Lennar home. The sales rep Carlos was very good!

Builder grade, entry level finishes and materials. Garage is left unfinished. The unfinished basement is a plus.

Our recent purchase of a home from Lennar, unfortunately, was far from smooth experience. While the house itself is okay, though we had to point a few things to repair in 2 external inspections and 2 walks we did before closing; the whole process of buying was frustrating. Lennar offered no flexibility on anything — from minor adjustments to deadlines, there was little room for negotiation or understanding. To make matters worse, management was practically impossible to reach. It was difficult to get answers to even the most basic questions. I expected a more customer-focused approach, especially for such a significant purchase. Not the smooth experience I had hoped for. Even our real estate agents expressed that in their decades of working in industry, they never had any of their clients or for themselves see a bad customer service at the level Lennar showed. ... My personal experience is very Good. construction is a good quality very good finishing and quality product and 1700 ft.² it’s a good deal

We bought house in Aloravita South community in Peoria, AZ. We never get to choose options like flooring, cabinets, exterior color, elevation etc. Its like Take it or leave it....not customer friendly.

We had an easy and efficient experience from home selection through closing. Our salesperson Adrianna and loan officer Jerrod were amazing, and guided us seamlessly the entire way. We had a warranty issue 6 weeks after move in and our customer care rep Jamie took care of it right away. Things happen with new builds and it’s reassuring to know Lennar will take care of any issues so quickly. We are very happy with Lennar and our new home.

We purchsed this home using a realtor as our eyes as we live 1500 miles away. Overall the house itself is built well with exception of the rooms being out of square! The shower for example is approximately 1 inch out of square, which is quite noticeable when using 2 inch square floor tile. The appliances are strictly builder grade and we will update these ASAP. The excessive paperwork trying to purchase this home was just that "Excessive and repetative" seems the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, many different people sending you the same information and when you have a question nobody seems to know who's in charge. I have several differant emails contradicting who to contact for the same issue, seems everone wants to pass the buck! One would think you should contact your management compaany with issues and they in turn would in turn decide if the issue should be turned over to the Master HOA, that is not the case here...you contact the management company and they tell you "That's not my job, you need to contact the Lennar!" in my mind that's why we are paying a management company, at least that's how it worked when I was the president of a HOA in Arizona, the members never had to contact the master association, everything was handled through the managent company. ... We had many set backs and issues that led to many disappointing circumstances when purchasing our home from walking through the model and loving it only to find our almost EVERYTHING was an upgrade or not even available to our floor tile being back ordered which pushed our closing back 3 weeks to being treated very poorly for not using lennar as our financing source to very lastly and most recent not knowing anything about solar and being under the assumption the solar installed on our home would be suffice to power our home, only to find out we need more than double the panels to power our home. I feel like they could have met in the middle on the appliances and included a washer and dryer and the blinds are absolutely ridiculous that they don’t include the biggest window In the home or the doors in the bedrooms just adjust the price accordingly and I am sure most people would agree a lesser quality appliances could have been purchased to offset the blind pricing and lack of washer and dryer. They were incredibly convincing until we passed the time with our earnest money. They stated that Lennar cared, and even though they generally don’t install radon mitigation systems, they would take care of their customers. They didn’t. The level on our home was the equivalent of smoking 80 cigarettes per day And we have two children, and children are 10 to 12 times more likely to develop cancer due to radon exposure. Materials are cheap, if you wipe the wall with a napkin, white paint comes off of the wall and that’s not even with a chemical on the napkin. The caulking in the bathroom separated from the tub within the first week of moving in. You can feel tack strips throughout the carpet of the home, even though we asked multiple times for it to be fixed. It even cut my daughters toe. One of the walls was crooked, they fixed the wall, but never came back to paint it, so it’s just left the color of the putty or whatever they use which is not the color of the home even though we have requested it to be fixed. Honestly, it’s been horrible for a brand new home. Not the best experience by far, especially for how expensive these houses are. It’s more expensive to live in Utah than it is in California. ... Still new at the property. Discovered some minor issues. Tried to use the online portal to report them but, it doesn’t really work. The electrical issues reported to the contractor but still not fixed. It took them about 3 weeks to fix the broken fence.

A faulty installation of the dishwasher flooded our kitchen on 9/26. A contractor had to come in to rip off, dry and clean the floor boards plus remove the damaged cabinets. We were forced to stay away for 11 days. After over 2 months, the floor and cabinet replacement still has not started because the materials have not been delivered. Really? How was the logistics planned to have such a long lead time?! Our next door neighbor also had a faulty installation of the wash machine and their laundry room and living room were flooded, too. Talking about the quality of work, I really can offer any positive feedback. Furthermore, Lennar is supposed to reimburse my hotel and meal expenses during the 11-day period. It has been 2 months and I have not received anything. This is not the behavior of a responsible organization. Lennar is still aruguing about reimbursing me for the additional utility expenses we incurred during the 11 day cleaning period. This is the extra expense to correct Lennar's mistake so why is the company trying to pass the buck? ... More

The entire experience was great. Everyone was friendly. I am very happy with the overall quality of the build. The overall cost of homes are too high. The only negative thing I can say is that Lennar used the lowest quality interior paint (flat) that rubs off if you attempt to clean it. For the cost of the home, there should be no low quality materials used. I repainted the interior during the first month. I love my home.

During our celebratory walk thru, a week prior to our closing, we pointed out several issues that needed to be addressed. To our surprise, at the final walk thru, NOTHING had been repaired. We suggested we delay the closing to allow additional time for the repairs to be completed. We were assured these repairs would be taken care of... well, over a month later we are still waiting. I trust NO ONE at Lennar. If false promises were a trade that would be their best quality. I've spoken to several other owners, one a family member, who have all experienced similar issues. The homes are not ready for closure. They are hurrying the process along just to keep moving from home to home. ... More

The whole process from looking at the home till the closing was great afterwards the technician that handles the issues has been unresponsive and unprofessional. He puts a bad light on the whole experience

For the price of this home, the attention to detail should have been greater. The amount of paint splattered and uneven texture and cracks in the caulking is sloppy. I found beer cans in my closet during one of my walk throughs. I have permanent suction cup markers on my counter tops and stains on my UPGRADED wood floors from careless installation. I love the design of my home but the crappy workmanship is very noticeable and disappointing.

I am a repeat Lennar homebuyer. My experience has been good.

This whole experience was truly terrible. We feel like we got the run around for everything. When we met Hailey she was great and super helpful. She was the best person to deal with throughout this whole process. Everyone else was extremely unprofessional, rude, and difficult to contact. Our closing process was extremely stressful as they clearly put off the actual closing of our house to where we had to escalate to supervisors, still got the run around from the associates, and had to stay on top of everyone every step of the way. There is clearly no communication between colleagues at this company. We were also told during our walk through, that some things would just “not get fixed” due to not having structural issues. It’s a brand new house, it should look perfect. Once we moved in we had some issues with structural integrity and workmanship. We were told not to lean on the toilet paper holder (obviously) when it fell out of the wall when we were just simply trying to change the roll… seems like a lot of the house was cheaply made and rushed through. Don’t get me wrong, we love our house and are happy to finally be out of an apartment. But for being first time home buyers and buying a brand new build, our expectations were definitely not met. Don’t tell us you won’t fix stuff when it’s clearly a lack of craftsmanship. Our neighbors agree that they’ve had the same issues. We have chipped bricks, cracks in our driveway, split wood planks in our backyard, Rockwall breaking off, and more that they just simply won’t fix. We were also told we were getting a move in gift (which we didn’t expect, but why say it if you don’t follow through with it?) just a lot of poor follow through. We expected a lot more with this process. Very disappointing that this will be our one and only first time to buy a house and it was terrible. ... More
