I liked the process of checking new properties and the overall level of communication from their departments.

Salesperson great no problem very nice,title company good no problem, building manager not very friendly and there was issues with outside house paint he did not want to take care off it, I had to talk to other people to solve the problem,building manager not very good

The entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in was very good.

The sales team at my subdivision was wonderful. However, the building process and the quality of my home is not worth the price point. I had to spend more money to correct cracked floors, a broken truss and framing that included “organic growth” that the builder said wasn’t mold. I have barely been in my home 60days and it’s clear that there was no attention given to detail. The ceilings are already separating from crown molding, walls separating from baseboards, issues pointed out at the final walk-through have reappeared.and window sills separating. In my mind, some of that is to be expected within six months to a year, but less than three months? For the price point, the craftsmanship is disappointing to say the least. ... More

The process was rushed so couldn’t shop for our own lender or insurance. That caused multiple closing issues. Need minor things fixed and still waiting. Overall wonderful build but process frustrating.

Everyone concerned was always ready to show us homes we were interested in no matter how many times we asked to re-visit! The entire buying experience went very smoothly and quickly. The only downside for us was having to wait until the house was finished and move-in ready. Our initial walk-thru went well; only a few very minor details needed to be taken care of. The 2nd walk-through showed all items we had marked having been taken care of.

Opinion solicited by Lennar and in no way intended to libel or defame anyone. Initially our sales representative Michael verbally floated us pricing that garnered our interest. Somehow they seemed to vanish. I eventually negotiated a price that at least was close to the prices I had heard in the beginning. Then I was informed that he had no authority to sales purchase pricing and would submit my offer but thought it would not be acceptable. He later told me that Lennar wasn’t going to agree to my offer but he thought up a solution that Lennar agreed to accept. His solution was that my purchase price would be acceptable if we’re willing to agree to pay an additional full interest point above my exceptional credit rating I qualified for. Salesman with no authority working on behalf of my best interests was suddenly permitted to think up a way to help me out? Michael orchestrated a deal that would financially benefit Lennar with more of my money. Unfortunately for Lennar I paid off my mortgage prior to the first mortgage payment due date. I purchased my home for a price I was satisfied with and the excessive additional interest point didn’t cost me a penny. Trust solely in yourselves. Its your money. ... More

I had an awesome experience from day 1. I highly recommend Lennar!

Good communication and trustworthy and nice

The only real issue I had was that I didn't want to use their pool vendor because of previous experience I had with then at Babcock National, I kept reminding them of that I was going to use my own pool contractor but they still put 3 large trees in the area for my Lanai and did did landscaping where pool would be built. I now have to move all that landscaping when they could have done the landscaping for a pool installation which they have.

So far everything has gone as expected. Our home is perfect and what wasn’t has been resolved. Thank you Lennar.

Each and every Lennar personnel were knowledgeable and professional. There was no pressures and they provided me with options to meet my needs and wants. Thankfully, there were a few different style homes and the staff were patient in showing me all of them that met my criteria. Actually, the home I purchased was not even on my self chosen list. After making my decision, each member from the mortgage preparation to the closing explained the steps and provided guidance. As with any home purchase, you may need some tweaks addressed. The process to request some assistance in having a service technician come look at my inquiry has also been great. They are extremely timely in their response and the issues have been resolved. everything went well so far

As I’m living here I’m finding a lot of little things that could had been corrected. I do not think Lennar uses a quality assurance person to check their work. Examples: Uneven drywall Vents that shake and make noise Cracks in drywall Weeping holes that protrudes out the house Creaks in stairs weather strips falling off doors Entrance doors that won’t lock Chipping of cement in garage floor

I wouldn’t trust Lennar to build a tiny home for a dog. Let alone another home for me. The saleswoman lied and was terrible, the construction team lied and made excuses for everything, the craftsmanship of this entire home is complete trash. We requested our earnest back when the backyard fell in and were told no- when you all to date have done nothing to fix it. The soil is so terrible back there the trees behind the home can’t even withstand a normal rainy day.

Everyone’s experience is different but ours was positive. Due to hurricanes and personal issues closing needed to be remote and that was simple. Communication with loan officer, Josh and others involved was timely and always supportive. We were fortunate to have had a wonderful realtor , denise and a wonderful project manager, JB. Our unit had some unfinished work but communication was responsive and everything was promptly completed. The timeline for our unit was close to expected; the amenities are unfortunately taking longer. make sure you have everything on paper they say or will denied it

Over all everything went as expected from first day to closeout. Some small issues were resolved for HVAC. Not satisfied for appliebces provided by Lennar of low quality and not to the standard for this prise of the house they charged. Post boxes provide by them are horrible and not at proper location.

Sales agent listened to our goals and needs and shapedthe whole experience to well-fit our special and unique needs. Construction manager is consistently available with the answers and response. People from Lennar affiliated companies offered and delivered a smoothly integrated comprehensive support.

It was really awesome buying new home experience with Lennar Builder. They do notify the customer at the every stage of construction and keep them up-to-date. They will guide us end to end. They do have from warranty/customer support team (Sara) who has been helping us for any service requests. I would strongly recommend the Lennar Builders for buying a new home.

We bought our first starter home from Lennar some years ago and had a positive experience about it, so we thought “why not” when we received a call from the new home consultant about the availability of a lakefront property at Northlake, a community four miles from the Sacramento Metro airport. We couldn’t be more wrong! Sales – I am one of those buyers who was willing to pay more for upgrades. It is apparent that Lennar cared more about how they got the job done quickly than customer satisfaction. There were either no or very limited upgrade options to choose from - cabinets, countertops, backsplash, you name in. Imagine you just spent $800k on a house and were told by the builder that “too bad, we couldn’t offer this or that” even when you were willing to spend more. More accurately, “we do offer this or that in our El Dorado Hills development [where the million houses are built]”. Awkward! To be fair, those New Home Consultants were pretty responsive during the pre-sales phase. However, there was no “warm” handoff from Sales to the Mortgage/Loan division. The unspoken words to us were, “sales completed, next one in line.” Mortgage/Loan – Imagine you were approached by the builder’s loan department who gave you 48 hours to submit electronic a long list of documents but your questions to them went unanswered for a week. Of the list of requirements, one of them was concerning your reasons to buy the new house and your plan for the old house. We were scratching our heads thinking, “we have just submitted other required documents showing that we have enough money in the bank to buy the house outright and we have enough cashflow to afford the mortgage and that’s not enough? We have to write an essay to stroke your ego too?” We seriously thought about walking away at this point until some higher up personnel stepped in to smooth away the outrageous ask. The House – While inflation is real and your money may not go as far as it used to, having just spent $800k on a house it would not be unreasonable for us to expect the community plan to be well thought out, the amenities inside the house to be well positioned, the craftsmanship to be meticulous, correct? Wrong! In a community where my 2,700 sqft house would be considered small, it is hard to imagine I do not even have enough street parking space for even ONE single car in front of my house. Never mind family and friends, we will go to your house for holiday celebrations from now on. Driveway is 20 feet in width, a few feet narrower than driveways found in many older houses. Imagine trying to park two SUVs or pickup trucks on your driveway. Landscaping comprises of low-end mulch which covers 90% of the front yard, with a whopping 8x10 grassy area to help builder check off the box. Prior to our first walkthrough, we had already informed the New Home Consultants of the observations made, including a dented garage door, chipped concrete front porch entry, a couple of damaged eaves, sloppy stucco walkthrough and low. By reporting these concerns early, we thought the builder would perform some fixes to make our fist walk-through a more pleasant experience for everyone involved. Needless to say, they did not. In fact, some of the concerns were not even addressed until a week after the final walkthrough. Interior walls and ceiling were painted with white paints throughout the house as no option was available. We ended up spending over $6k to repaint the house into the preferred colors. Electrical appliances consist of mostly soon to be outdated GE models, which speaks volume to the builder’s priority to save by buying things in bulk as opposed to putting customers first. The range hood that came with our house looked good on the surface but a simple Google search informed me the unit had a low CFM. We ended up replacing it on the 3rd day after we moved in. We found our structured media enclosure “conveniently” mounted on a wall behind the laundry room on the 2nd floor, which makes receiving good WiFi signal difficult throughout the house. Our house has three bedrooms. Each bedroom, even the one in the master suite, has only ONE single robe hook in it. AC unit in the master suite is super loud; it wakes us up in the middle of the night over and over again. Final Thoughts – We do want to give credit to the home care (warranty) team as they have been very responsive to the requests submitted. The construction supervisors we interacted with seemed honest and transparent, admitting to us thoughtfulness and customer satisfaction oftentimes took a backseat when profitability was the company's only mantra. Maybe we should all develop a Lennar-like mindset. Why use towel racks/bars when we can get by with a single robe hook? Hairline crack on ceiling and drywall on Day 1? No big deal, we can revisit that a year from now! Scratches on brand new bathtubs and cabinets? Breathe and know that they are still functional! Chipped bathroom and kitchen tiles? Congrats, you have 20-20 vision! Broken outlet covers? Don’t focus on those minor things, silly! Lakefront homes but no direct access to the lake? That’s what makes Lennar a unique home builder! Onto the million-dollar question: Would I recommend this builder to others? Yes, to the priests as they are more forgiving than most. Or to HGTV, as they like to tear things down and build back better anyways. ... More
