The loan process was a complete nightmare! We literally showed up to closing and were told that our loan had not had its final approval and had to wait an additional 3 hours for them to get it figured out. Mind you, this was after we were told the previous night at 8:30 that we were good to go. No one called us to let us know of the rescheduling either which is completely unprofessional. We also had to continuously provide the same proof of funds over and over and over again. We were told that we recieved our final approval approximately 1 week prior to closing but were still asked to provide documentation the night before. Purchasing a new home should be an exciting adventure and this was not the case in any way shape or form and we are not the only ones that have had this experience. We also had a terrible experience with our final walk through. We were told by their rep that our entire house would be re-grouted and many other minor fixes with paint and broken closet doors that were to be replaced prior to closing which was three days later. Upon final walkthrough, absolutely none of it was complete and we almost walked on the deal at this point. They finally got the grout complete but did not clean the floors afterwards so we are still deing with trying to get the residue off. We were also told that we could just reach out to the project manager by the project manager himself at any time and he would have a someone there quickly to have the issue resolved as the crews would still be in the area and easy to have them come over to fix issues. Upon reaching out to the project manager several days after closing we were told to file warranty claims online. I will say the warranty department people have been nice and have provided solutions in a timely manner but certainly not as easy as texting the PM to have issues complete. One positive for the experience was that our closing date was moved forward by request to avoid issues with our current lease. We have purchased several homes, with the last two forever homes being custom builds. We know exactly what we want and how we want it. We never expected to walk into this Lennar Home and find that it was about 99% exactly what we wanted from design down to flooring and color scheme. We couldn't be more happy with the overall construction quality, warranty follow up and most importantly, the folks that helped us get into the house, Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Insurance. It was such a blessing to have them all working together as it made the closing process fast and easy without any unnecessary stress. ... More

I could write pages about how awful my experience has been, but to summarize things….I wish I would have never brought a house with this builder or in this neighborhood.

Lennar did not fix items before our closing as promised. Much of the blue tape was removed even though the issues had not been resolved. Items are slowly being addressed via warranty tickets weeks later.

1) Initially we booked lot but they changed it to another plot saying layout issue. they didnt give us option. literally forced us to take a the home which we didnt want. 2) no modification request was accepted

All Lennar Staff were professional and attentive during and after my home purchase. Highly recommended.

Overall Lennar homes are good and cost effective. Only thing - they forgot to deactivate home door code and the burners on the gas stove got stolen

Victor was the sales associate and the entire experience was awful. There was a mold situation that came up due to the builder not locking up the home when Hurricane Beryl came through. After us spending almost $1,000 on a mold inspection since the builder would not, the builder after 3 weeks got their own inspection because they didn't trust ours. Once they got their own, again, they dragged their feet getting the remediation started which resulted in us finding a place to live for over a week with a toddler, dogs, and my wife being pregnant. Victor did not help with our issues and would down play our concerns. During our final walk through, there was still paint all over the floors and the house was filthy. We were told the house would be cleaned and paint from the floors would be removed. When we went in the next day to move in after closing, the paint was still on the floors, the floors were dusty and countertops were covered in dirt. Not to mention, we were given dead grass for move in and are still getting letters from the HOA because the grass won't grow back fast enough. If we would've had another option than to buy this house, we would've. But we had already sold our house and had nowhere else to go. We will never buy another Lennar house again and have made it clear to those closest to us to not buy a Lennar home. The customer service is absolutely terrible. ... More

Home is a good value for the price.

Almost all the finishes are good quality. Best new homes on the market.

The townhome is a quick build, no frills, very basic shower heads and the plastic toilets lids, single paint on walls, carpet has no pad very cheap carpet, with tack strip that was not nailed down properly and walking in the house with socks my feet get picked, sloppy trim work and texture finish

I’m very happy and excited to my new home at Lennar/Dalton. Buying a new house is not easy, especially first time, this is my first experience to buy a house, I almost quit. My home consultant and loan officer helped me a lot during the process. They explained all the requirements needed and for me to understand. The best part I was approved, I got my new home excited and happy Bernadeth from California

I was going through difficult times and Eric and Lindsey were very helpful, understanding and was there for me throughout the purchase. I am very thankful for them.

Rushed through walk thru. Was lied to about numbers were placed on house. It was never done. Took 2 months after closing to have house numbers put on house.

We identified some workmanship issues and also noticed that some of the front yart plants were dead during the walk-through session. We were disappointed that the dead plants were not replaced as it was promised and some workmanship defects were not fixed.

Great price on a quality home..Lennar mortgage caused some anxiety along with closing surprises and a little heavy handed on the closing..Lennar real estate agents were not very helpful..The house is built with quality materials.. overall I am satisfied

Enjoying our new home and neighborhood..

We picked the house because the lot was wooded in the back. Salesperson commented this was her favorite lot because of the trees. One week after closing, we were the last house to close in this section, they came and cut down about 75% of the trees. We no longer have a shaded patio and private back yard. . Apparently the plan all along was to cut down the trees once the homes closed. Nobody told us that was the plan. We now have a golf course view. If we had known the plan was to remove the trees we may have considered a different lot or subdivision. We love the house and floor plan but it has taken some time to get used to the trees being gone. Any issues we have had with the house have been taken care in a very timely way. ... More

Overall home is OK. Nothing that makes them stand out above other area builders. We liked the floor plan over other builders options. Utilizing Lennar mortgage was a nightmare.

My only issue is the quality of the workmanship in certain trades. Most of what is discovered after move in, can be easily caught. Light fixtures off center, chipped tiles, etc. Lennar does stand behind their product. It becomes time consuming after completion.

Quinton took care of the issues what we had ! He’s very helpful and kind in placing an order for one of our kitchen cabinet which was damaged during the installation , now we are waiting for the installer to do the installation . We have some six month issues will submit them soon. Hopefully he will take care of those issues as well . We are very happy and satisfied with Lennar Builders . Thank you !

Lennar has absolutely no control, whatsoever, over their subs who eat food and leave food scraps on the floor, ketchup on the new woodwork, and the paint sub dragged their muddy boots all over the brand new carpet at the most critical time just days before closing. Lennar, however, would not do a complete carpet replacement, even though those same boots made God only knows how many trips across the street to the disgusting disease-ridden port-a-let. The finish workmanship was the worst I have ever seen in 40 years of purchasing new homes. The finish workers (literally) nailed trim boards all over the house with chunks of dirt and mud on them, which no doubt got painted over by the paint sub. Unbelievably disappointing!!! My very first beginner home with Arbor all those years ago was better built and at least had subs who respected my new home. The region construction manager, Adam, was the only positive or bright spot, and he was very good to work with and did his best to try to make things right, otherwise my scores would be a “1” across the board (some “0” if that was a possible score). In the end, profit and dollars prevailed for Lennar and Adam was handcuffed with what he could offer to remedy the situation. ... More
