As a first-time homebuyer, working with Lennar has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. I expected much better communication throughout the process, but instead I constantly had to reach out myself for updates and to find out what the next steps were. Documents were emailed to me for ***** without any explanation of what they were, why they were important, or even a courtesy call letting me know to watch for them. My original closing date was scheduled for May 29, but it has now been pushed back three separate times. Despite everything being completed and finalized on my side, I have received little to no explanation for these delays. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, especially for a first-time buyer. Instead, this process has been stressful, confusing, and disappointing due to the lack of communication and repeated delays. Rachel was my loan agent, and it was impossible to get a hold of her, she never explained anything just expected signatures on unknown documents. She was horrible! the overall experience with Lennar fell far below my expectations. I would not describe this as a positive home-buying experience or recommend to anyone else! ... More

Horrible experience

House was not professionally cleaned as promised. Master bedroom closet rod not properly installed. The weight of the clothes causing the rod to bend. So it will eventually break. Big gap at the bottom of the fence. Why is the fence so far from the ground that you can see the cement that the post are anchored in. There's no way to keep a dog in the fence because the gaps are too big. The put the grass on top of the weeds. They don't take the time to remove the weeds. The gave me a dead tree and didn't anchor it down. You could see the tree was being traumatized more when the wind was blowing. The tree had not had time to grow roots and the wind was making it come from the ground. The tree looks dead now. All Lennar does is rush you through the closing and tell you to file a warranty claim. Send me the warranty claim link nobody told me how that works. ... More

I understand they have some ways to go in terms of quality, but to me those are minor as long as they respond in a timley manner.

It was easy to deal with the lennar team and they were helpful to every aspect. There were some challenges but we were able to resolve it pretty quickly

Great experience with Lennar and Eric at Cleveland Hill!!! From deposit to close was maybe 3 weeks. Straightforward process, and incentives offered made the experience even better. My daughter and I are looking forward meeting the neighbors and enjoying the home and community.

Paint job is sloppy. Doors were not appropriately hung(could see outside light underneath and above) cracked kitchen cabinets,

I had a wonderful experience visiting the title place; it felt warm and welcoming, especially being out of state. I do have some concerns and worries about other issues at the location. I believe this place is beautiful and could be even better if these concerns were addressed.

Need to fix any issues that the customer founds before walk through the home, I have to call the contractor and pay more money to fix the home while moving in.

I was assigned to the Home buyer concierge and he never reply to the customer inquiry or request. This is like a block hole once payment submitted the customer never receive any care anymore. I was promised items at construction meet and never delivered

I would never use Lennar again and would not recommend

Mortgage officer was unprofessional and incapable of doing his job. Brand new house looked like it never went through and inspection. Very slow warranty claim turn around times

It’s a worst experience buying house with lennar builder. They don’t work with you but against you. Lennar will never address complaints but will push your issue in loop so that you will give up and don’t raise new complaint . Lennar is a scam. We have all proof

We have had a few issues and it took a long time for anyone to respond. We all have air conditioning issues. We have an open ticket. The air does not blow in the master bedroom. I called the claims dept. Carla came out. She just said, I will have to send a technician. Over a week later, I have not heard anything from anyone. It is July in Texas, we would like the comfort that we pay for. We also have no water faucet/spicket in the backyard. We were told that is normal. I have never heard of such a thing . I had issued with my dishwasher and was told there is no warranty for appliances. We have a sprinkler head that does not work. Carla told us that the sprinkler head is underground and it is suppose to be. We mentioned issues we were having with our neighbors, they all said, good luck with that! No one ever comes out or fixes things. Not good. ... More

Matthew was great to work with during the purchase. And has nothing to do with this review. We are disappointed in finding issues since moving in. Our house has now become a punch line…. We had a hole in our driveway appear (caused by the gas company). This was addressed promptly. Our smoke detector goes off if we cook anything over 350. The hvac unit stopped working for 2 weeks and it was WIRED INCORRECTLY!!! Now our washing machine is BROKE with a bad sensor and a 2 WEEK turnaround We are now wondering if we made a mistake trusting Lennar with a new build. I mean what is going to go wrong next?? ... More
