I am a first time homebuyer and this purchase has been nothing but problems. House was very clearly rushed. There is no point of contact to escalate issues. All attempts to contact my customer care rep have been extremely poor. Prior to closing, rep did not follow through on issues found in the first walkthrough. He did not attend the final walkthrough 1 day before closing, no notice or apology. After closing, issues are very slow to be addressed, taking several weeks to resolve simple things. The rep does not seem to proactively work on my tickets and instead requires me to reach out and push him to get the problems fixed. Multiple homes in my community flooded the first time it rained due to improper drainage. ... More

Overall experience was smooth. I recommended it as my first time home buying experience was great. Seemed like each part of the overall process from builders etc was the highest quality.

If I had it to do all over again- I would have went with another builder hands down. Customer service is BAD!! I was promised things would get fixed when I closed on my home and still those issues have not been dealt with- so I fixed most of them on my own. Please do your research when purchasing a home from Lennar - make sure you have numbers and people who you can contact to make sure your issues get resolved- it must be bad because all they could blame is someone that left Lennar- well I wonder why? There is much to say about the home buyer process that I have learned and thanks to Lennar, that was possible, but not in the way you may think. Firstly, Lennar prices and financing sell their houses, not their warranty, not the customer services, not their knowledge, nor the company itself really. Since Lennar Mortgage, Builders, and Title are all "separate" companies, this allows them to give you the run around and waste time on inquiries and questions you may have. Or if something is wrong in a document, they will say its the other company when truly it's one company masquerading as 3 separate ones. They do this so that they can charge you whatever they want. In my case, the Lennar sales rep, his name was Trent M, told me my house is $3,000 less than the displayed price and told me I would get a fridge as well. Well surprise surprise, I didn't get a fridge and they would add that amount to my incentives at closing. Well the "other company", the builders add whatever building and other fees and what not to make up for that. So my building fee was over $3,000 and that is NOT suppose to be that high(after speaking to many people about this). So I didn't get a fridge for free nor did I save $3,000 on my house. These are lies and tactics given by Lennar Sales reps to get you to buy the house. Also, when scheduling my orientation for the house, I let the coordinator know 3 times to schedule my orientation in the afternoon since I work and it's easier to get off work in the afternoon, but even after telling Patrick M that twice, he still made it at 9 am. So clearly Lennar employees either don't listen, or they are so incompetent that they can't schedule something in the leisure time of the buyer. Not only this, but I inquired where my mailbox was since the keys did NOT have a mailbox tag and no one could tell me. My mortgage for the first month was almost late because Lennar employees and the people that sold that house, nor the builders have any idea which mailbox is yours. It was a stressful fiasco dealing with the 4 people I did to find out where is was. Only person I can say helped me the most was Alan A, who is the concercerge for Lennar. He was very helpful, actually knew information, and made attempts to help me. The house itself, so far, is great. Nothing has went wrong and the materials are solid. I am happy with that aspect of my purchase, just not how I got here. Overall, NOT happy with the buying process of Lennar, but realistically, all these building companies are money hungry blood suckers so I expect them all to have the same tactics, Lennar just had a slightly better price. Lack of Attention To Detail and Cheap Materials

The microwave was not installed for our inspector to check it. They installed it last minute and left 2 screws out and unaligned. They didn’t let us blue tape the house and A LOT of the issues we asked to be fixed just weren’t. The construction manager worked by himself to fix those and we had to come back the same day to approve it. Overall, the quality of the home is not good. The construction manager is extremely passive aggressive. During the choosing the exterior colors, the sales representative said the white siding was not available anymore and we had to go with the lien color. The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. At the top of the shower area there is about a 3 inch crack that had a thin layer of caulking over top that blended in and without being up close and personal, I could not see. Obviously, when it was installed, the contractor pushed too hard and cracked the wall, covered it and just carried on like nothing happened. I did call Lennar‘s warranty and they offered to repair it. However, I stated it needed to be replaced as I didn’t buy a new house to have something like that just covered up down the line there could be water damage possibly from The crack. They did replace it, but it was still a major inconvenience for me as I had to take the time first for a virtual appointment, then take a day off to wait for a plumber to come change it, and then have to wait for drywall people to come and fix the drywall. so now I do have a new shower wall, but I had to deal with the thin dust that was left behind from the drywall repair spend hours cleaning that. It now clearly looks like the shower lining has been cut out and re-drywall as it will never be a seamless line like it should be if it had just been done properly the first time. There have also been several other things such as the flooring is separating in several places which could just be from the foundation settling, or again from crappy contractors. Every door handle on every door has had to be re-tightened. I have also found trash underneath the sod and several other places as the contractors clearly were unable to find trash cans to throw their trash away . ... More

We was lennar mortgage and it was the worst experience we had buying a home. Our saleswoman was great. Our foreman was awesome House was built great

My home is lovely and so far I am happy that I moved here. It has been very difficult getting settled, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was disappointed because we had and misunderstanding about the elevation of the house. it was probably more my fault but I still wish it looked differently. The only problem we’ve encountered so far is getting small things fixed that are troublesome. I’m still happy that I moved to Gettysburg . And I would do it again.

Pay particular attention to small details - point them out every time you get a chance and if given the chance put them in writing

getting help after you close is a problem landscaping all died weeks and still no action

It was a nice experience The Angie sold us the home was exceptional and the project manager was good. You'll find little things thats wrong but nothing major so far and overall I'm happy with my purchase the neighborhood is nice.

We have bought and sold multiple homes and this has been the best experience. From the sales office to titling and documentation, to closing and after sales service. The minor issues we had after move in were fixed very quickly with excellent communication. We love our new home.

We chose Lennar over other builders in the area for a few reasons. We loved the upgrades and features that came with the home, the larger lot size, and community. Since moving in we have had numerous warranty issues that have had zero follow up on. Our back yard is completely flooded from poor landscaping. All of the sod we paid for is ruined. In addition our houses is the only house without trim painted. We have been told that is “the way we planned it” but the house looks incomplete. We like the location and community but I wish a little more time and attention went into the house. ... More

Great house. And excellent space

I will not call this experience a pleasant one. Working level team is not at all sympathetic towards buyer. They don’t have problem solving / reducing mindset. From day one things didn’t go in a professional ways. They collected all information from my agent and later on denied to pay any commission. This list is very long . However the above point was completely unprofessional. Construction quality is also having question mark . I have submitted few complaints but one of them is most important. Hoping a good resolution.

We have been looking to buy for quite a while and I real estate agent Travis had gone with us to see quite a few developments. Once we settled on the townhome we wanted with Lennar the process of buying a home is always nerve-racking but the people at Lennar will be there with you every step of the way. We had to help of Jackie,Teresa, And Jennifer. The team was on top of everything Any paperwork or documents we needed to present they would make sure we understood exactly what they needed and why they needed it. I've heard horror stories about closing on a home our closing was so laid-back because a lot of the things you'll fill out forms before you go to the actual closing so you're not there for hours. Overall I’m very satisfied with my Lennar Home at Junipers. Staff customer service is excellent. Staff response to any punch list items, loan documentation, or any information needed is excellent. I was very pleased with the service. However I’m disappointed that more than 60 homes have been sold and so far the street lights are still not functioning. In addition out of the 2 major entrances to the community only one is accessible with temporary improvements. These improvements should have been completed before the first family move in. We are still waiting for these improvements to be completed. ... More

From the mortgage process all the way to completion...a huge joke. Won't respond to messages. Won't acknowledge things not on original walk through that was a rush job. Made a repair that is now messed up again....

Words cannot express how grateful we are to have met John. His professional, kind attitude and understanding of what we were looking for was a big blessing to us. He helped us find our forever home.

Have serious drainage issues both sides of home and backyard. Sod has been in for months and hasn’t grown like it should, have had reps come out and virtual calls twice and no results. Have reported this to construction managers on multiple occasions have been ignored. I am not happy with Lennar at this point. For the price we paid for these homes these issues should be resolved. We have only been here for 7 weeks.
