While the build quality of the home is excellent, the customer service was disappointing. Communication was poor throughout the process, with a noticeable lack of updates or follow-up. Furthermore, HOA fees spiked by 20% without notice just one month after closing.

My representative, Kyle was wonderful. If I didn't have him to help, support and guide me I don't think I would have stayed and bought a house from Lennar.

We were originally told that our closing date was mid March 2026. Sales Mgr moved it up to end of Feb. My husband was recovering from a neck fusion surgery and was not going to be able to be cleared for travel until first week of march. Lennar pushed us anyway stating that they would keep our deposit and could cancel. While we understand the contract terms, this left a very bad taste with us. At final walk through there was paint and caulking debris throughout the house on the floor. We were told at that time that the floor would be acid washed before we closed. It was not. They eventually sent the painter in and cleaners weeks later but we had furniture in by that time so not a complete fix. The pool heater was causing the breaker to trip and we were told at final walk through that it had been corrected. After move in we discovered it was still tripping. It is almost the 1st of May and we are still trying to get that breaker replaced with Lennar service. Sloppiness of workmanship on things like paint and caulking were very obvious. This is a production builder but we have touched up several things ourselves as it looked very sloppy. ... More

The commutation was great! They answered and explained every question I had. Everyone was so helpful and the homes are beautiful!

Overall our home was good- many areas seemed rushed and involved little to no quality assurance. We had to drive very critical mistakes in our home which was a safety concern. Other issues were denied and later found were not installed correctly. Really would have been a great buy or experience, but when issues found denial was the only response or no communication. Just identify the issue and make the fix - but still working with QA and resolution team - was very dissapointed.

After contract signing, communication with Lennar was non responsive. It would take numerous call, voicemails, and texts to get a response back. Plus we were promised regular updates from the Lennar throughout construction, which we never received. Lastly, you cannot believe what you are told during contract signing. We were told our house would not be starting construction for 8 months and it would not be ready for another 18 months. After signing, the house began construction less the 2 months later and was done a year early. Best part, the only way we found out construction started was we saw a promo video for the community and not Lennar. ... More

Our Salesperson (Katie) was our advocate from the start and worked with us through every step. We felt fully supported throughout the whole process.

I ended up closing 2 days early, so I'm thinking that is the reason for not cleaning the house I bought. my furniture and household goods were in the garage for 5 weeks after that waiting for their contractors to go clean the floors where they tract the adhesive from the vinyl flooring. it was a mess all Lennar did was send a heavy set guy to take pictures of the floor, 2 weeks in a row. I finally hired a 73 year old gentleman from my church . On his hands and knees with wet rags and dawn dish soap he cleaned up most of it. I saw he was tired so gratefully I paid him $290.00 My other issue was that the landscapers never went and rolled out the sod. I also made several phone calls and submitted pictures nothing was done to resolve the issue. the sales person Alyssa was my best experience, She was very professional and curious. In a world where everyone is trying to sell you something, James and Christian stand out. They didn't just show me a home, they walked me through the entire journey with honesty, respect, and patience. You can feel they actually care. If you're on the fence, just talk to them once. You won't go wrong with them.

Our buying experience with Lennar went very well. We had visited the area but we were still living out-of-state. Our purchase in Sequim was handled all on-line. The communications were excellent especially with Lennar Title. The sale of our home in AZ closed the same day as the purchase of our new home in Sequim. The process went very smoothly. Our new home orientation had to be conducted on-line since we had not relocated yet. The new home coordinator on site in Sequim did an excellent job and she was, and continues to be, available if we have additional questions or need more information. Not the most transparent process, advertise competitive rate, yet with acceptable credit score plus incentive dollars, rate advertised was NOT secured.

Awesome overall, but we were not happy with the closing experience. The couple before us had all the ladies at the door waiting, cheering them on with excitement. When it was our turn, she simply said, “You’ll get your copies by email,” and walked out. We were left wondering if we were done, so we just walked out expecting the same celebration, but got nothing. It did not make our day feel special. Other than that, we had a great experience and we love our home.

I bought my third Lennar home and while I am overall pleased with how this homebuilder approaches building (ie. love the all inclusive simple pricing), quality of homeowner support and buying process has definitely gone down. There is not much personal relationship or customer service and more like a mass factory with a lot of their workers overextended. I miss the one individual that you can call & the mariad of home warrenties, manuals and personal support that used to be the purchasing experience. I get that we have apps and can download instructions, etc. but this is one of the largest purchases. There should be more individual support. ... More

Overall good and smooth experience. Only bummer is that we have not yet been able to get the mailbox keys from the post office, it’s been almost two months now. This information was not disclosed to us when we were purchasing the house that we have to get the mailbox keys on our own and that the builder is not responsible for that.

We bought a Next Gen and it’s beautiful. Guy over our property is quick to respond and handled all of our move in blue tape missed items/ additional findings with ease. Loved how easy and friendly the loan process and staff were. My hiccup is we were explicitly told the next gen comes with 2 fridges, washer and dryer dishwasher etc. come closing, he refuted that and blamed our walkthrough guy. Dude, you told us that which is why I wasn’t mad about selling our last house with the brand new W&D we bought etc and now I misheard? No, I wrote it down as I was listing the pros and cons and why there wasn’t any buyer remorse before then. Anyway, Les sucked there, and supposedly his managers weren’t willing to budge either. The house is +500K and you want a bad review over it, done. Aside from that, other people’s driveways are small and so there’s a ton of cars in the street and in front of my house but neighborhood is quiet, home is home, and we can figure the nuances out. ... My experience was good, I didn't get into my home on the date agreed on... But, since being in my home.... the only problem I have is with the flooring,(the flooring technician did a crappy job) and I had to purchase my own venetian blinds. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my new HOUSE....

She was terrible poor customer service

LENNAR is the MOST SORRY business that I have ever dealt with . After TWO months I do not have a correct title to the home. The Tittle company is sending mail for me to the address of the home purchased . I do not live there. The Title company ignores me. LENNAR is a SORRY company. I am contacting the Al. Attorney General

Our experience buying our Coach Home was very streamlined and relatively painless. All of Lennar's people that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and friendly. We are very happy with our new place. Thanks Lennar!

The most purchasing experience was good. Keep the insurance side of of Lennar in check. They provided me with a great quote, then changed the price right before closing. Made me rethink the whole process. The communications between the builder, the mortgage company, the insurance company and the closing company leaves something to be desired. I would have thought since it’s all under one name they would have the communications under control but that is not the case. The home itself is great. I would have hoped that in 2025 they would be wiring homes with Ethernet in every room. That isn’t the case for the home I purchased.
