Lennar was very difficult to work with... Many of the documents were incorrect. We did not use Lennar Mortgage or Lennar Title because of the issues. We are still receiving an alert to sign an incorrect document in the portal even though we closed August 23rd. Thankfully, our renter is just moving in this weekend. The final issues were just resolved and our walk-thru was August 5th. We still have a leaky toilet which will be repaired tomorrow.

A lot of promises to get us in the house. No one knows what the right hand is doing through the whole process. Lack of communication with sells people to loan officer to contractors! Signing day shows up and no one from Lennar was there, called them and they said it’s normal for us not to be there for signing day that the title company will walk you through everything you need to know! Promise us some of our closing cost back and said, oh in the middle of your contract the state changed your closing cost and we can’t give you back your money! Should have had an attorney with us!

Amazing experience with Lennar . I like the freebies provided with new Movein homes . Like washer dryer , fridge . I would appreciate if they provide blinds too . These are must essentials

Multiple issues when I moved in but after communicating with lennar they scheduled people to come fix the issues. Paint left on floors, lights, door frames, screen door was broke also kitchen cabinet was broke.

My experience buying my first house with Lennar was great the whole team help us with everything that we needed they answered all our questions since the beginning. me and my wife we are happy with everything.

I had over 90 emails and texts before I closed on my home. Most of the correspondence was deputed. Mary helped as much as she could but her hands were tied on a lot of the problems. David was my go to guy and he had to check when problems came up.

Buying the house with Lennar was great but after buying the home you don't have much support from the team and you have a lot of companies calling you to let you know they are from Lennar and offering you services to pay.

I had a couple small home issues. There warranty dept. responded quickly. Very impressed.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of construction in my brand-new home from Lennar. The HVAC system is not working properly and fails to provide adequate air circulation to the second floor, making it uncomfortably warm and nearly uninhabitable. This is a basic issue that should have been addressed before the home was handed over. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, the builder has not provided a satisfactory solution. I expected much better quality and service for a new home and am very frustrated with this experience. I do not recommend this builder to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable home. ... More

My overall experience buying a home with Lennar was great. The house and the community are beautiful, and the process was mostly smooth. However, the only negative aspect of the experience was dealing with Lennar Mortgage. In the final two weeks before closing, the mortgage process caused a lot of anxiety due to delays, ober the top strict underwriting, and miscommunications, ultimately leading me to switch to another lender. Despite this hiccup, I’m very happy with my new home.

The finish work on Lennar homes is sloppy and the materials used are cheap. I have had to replace 4 lights in the 4 weeks I have lived in the brand new home because the lights are of poor quality. The front door is already coming apart and the dishwasher has a work order in to be repaired. The upstairs floors pop when walking across them. The materials used in Lennar homes are inexpensive and will not last the life of the home. I will have to spend my own money to replace all of the recessed lights because they are bad quality. These are things that should not be breaking in a brand new home.

Would absolutely not recommend. Cut corners at every possible turn. The material used was as cheap as possible and absolutely 0 attention to detail, to the point they messed up the install of several appliances and little things like the electrical outlets aren't even flush with the wall. The buying process was no better and should have served as my first warning. Once I paid my deposit, my realtor and myself recieved absolutely no communication from the representative. I also went with them for the loan due to promotional interest rate and there were numerous issues even in this process. Not communicating issues or items that needed to be resolved, repeatedly asking for information already sent, and I had to most documents several times due to repeated mistakes which delayed the process further. The only good thing about Lennar, is that the customer care rep to get issues fixed is great. She is working with me to address as many reasonably fixable issues as she can. Overall, if you're looking to buy a house don't buy new as it seems a lot of companies are taking huge advantage of the current housing situation. Attention to detail is extremely low. Didn't clean, paint on carpet, walls not smooth and in some areas not even painted. Outlets and outlet covers not secured. (But the electrical was inspected right? lol) They put the hose bibs in the dumbest locations. The one on the driveway side is at the back of the house... Some design engineer isn't too bright there. Flooring is not flat in all areas and the floor squeaks in spots like it's 30 years old. Zero customization is stupid. Expecting people to spend half a million and have no say in how the home is finished is embarrassing. Very true that once the purchase order is signed the customer service drops. Lennar is very much a money hungry company who hires average vendors to do a very average or less than average job. Cheap materials are definitely used. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone as a forever home. ... More

Spec sheet for the home stated finished stone veneer. When we moved up to the new home it was completed with siding. No adjustments have been made by the builder except to say "it was my fault". Have asked HOA to further investigate. Was hoping for either adjustment at closing or replacement of the siding-nothing has been done-felt like a bait and switch.

Overall the GC doesn’t seem like he had any idea about some things in the house. We walked the house dirty and they left trash all over my yard and in the backyard and we lived with it for a month or so before they finally sent someone to clean it. Save your time and money and get a 3rd party inspector

It went well however the process was long.

Honest experience as a first time home buyer. Lennar is only great front facing surface level. They sell you well and are responsive only in the selling phase. The second I paid my deposit and they secured my payment, they basically were unresponsive. We had to proof various documents - a lot of the info was wrong. Even after asking for a revision, they’ll get the same info wrong on a different document. They couldn’t get my HOA price right - I had to correct them on their own rates four times. I brought in my own inspector during the final walk through, and I received approval from concierge to bring them in. Day of inspection I’m told I cannot bring a third party in without waivers/paperwork signed. Nobody in concierge wanted to be held accountable for the $400 I paid for an inspector who could not inspect the house and did not respond to any of my emails. Day of keys they throw everything in a bag full of documents and send you off your way with no explanation. When you ask for things such as “where is my HOA account information” they say it’s all in the bag - which it was not and I had to wait for a physical mail to come in to get that info. Also my house has so many issues. My bedroom lights flicker, the closet window was cracked, and the walls to window are not symmetrical. Insane for a house that costs the amount it does. The decibel is also not to legal regulations. You can hear everything externally. The shower has a high pitched ringing sound. My kitchen sink has a stain that came on it. Water quality is awful / pipes are rusty caused all my laundry to turn yellow. Hot water isn’t instant. Our heater was broken to begin with and we had to call emergency services because our house temperature was dropping dramatically and our pets were showing distress. These are all things we could’ve caught during walk through with our inspector if concierge took the necessary steps needed to bring out inspector to site to begin with rather than tell us day of they can’t come because they didn’t give us waivers. Homeless people walk around and look through your trash bins and try to open your doors - HOA won’t do anything nor showed ounce of empathy. Incredibly sloppy and I’m absolutely disappointed in the service, quality and basic human respect. I would not recommend Lennar nor will I purchase with Lennar again. The team of staff that made sure the COE is met on time on its deadline did an excellent job that helped me move in. The staff that provided the keys, instructions, etc were great. The stressful disappointment start from Lennar customer care completing issues requested. The resolutions were not acceptable. Please just refer to my requested completion of issues. Second to this is not being provided recycle and trash bins by Republic services going on 6 weeks now. I have been living for so many years in CA and never did I experience this sloppy delivery of service.

I am a first time homebuyer. I was able to be upfront about my credit challenges and we were able to establish a timeline for me too clean up my credit and pay off debt. I absolutely love the neighborhood and the homes because of the nature and it’s just a really nice community and area. I Do not believe I could’ve gotten the same home for this price in Houston. I think it would’ve been more.

This is our THIRD Lennar home. One in CA and two in WA. You are working with people that treat you like family. They care about customer service, quality of their product, and every person we have interacted with have been the best of the best! The two homes in WA, were homes we purchased from living in another state. Everyone from Lennar was very patient with us and we are a low tech couple which we had our own challenges. This was the only reason why we did not give a 5 star rating. It was nothing that the folks at Lennar created. The finishes on our home are beautiful and they are part of the EI policy. The value is amazing for what you pay for a brand new home with the latest in technology and energy efficiency. We love our new home and our neighborhood. It’s beautiful. ... More
