The whole Lennar experienced was a disgrace. Lennar did not communicate well with other Lennar employees which made my experience a bad one. From purchasing, workmanship, and responsiveness have greatly made me put this business at the bottom of my list, due to the fact they don't care about their customers, nor timelines to get things done. Highly do not recommend anyone ever buying from this company cause they are really just out to get your momey.

Generally a good experience. We feel that it would have been better to include some simple add ons for top tier homes. For example, crown molding, nicer faucets and shower heads, a real medicine cabinet in the primary bathroom would be ideal adjustments. The kitchen cabinets should have higher quality options.

Easy online closing and good instructions to use appliances.

Quality is so bad that toilet needs a change, sink needs a change and irrigation needs a change.

Do not purchase a Lennar Home.

I love my Lennar home and lot. Eric guided me through the planning process. Neil met with me weekly at the home site to review construction progress. Jon addressed any issues that came up during the inspection and walk throughs. All Lennar associates I have come in contact with have been friendly, professional, and valued me as a home buyer.

My experience was questionable. The walk through was great. Connor was fantastic and answered all the questions we asked him.

Our experience with getting approved for a Lennar mortgage was very painful and stressful. Some people were very helpful; others were very difficult to deal with, especially with the documents we had to provide. The Lennar descriptions and sources for these were very misleading and unhelpful. Too much time pressure was put on us.

We bought because of the area and pricing , realtor was 5 stars all around and still is, even after we bought he has helped in so many ways. I definitely recommend Aaron 100%. As for the Loan officer , was a terrible experience after the 1st interaction. She would never answer texts, emails or phone calls till she needed something from you. Was very negative that you would be approved although my income was double what was needed. I suggested if you do get assigned to NINA to run the other way. lol. Or ask for someone else. But the home is great , used some cheap materials and we had to do a few upgrades and adjustments to make it better. Wish the WiFi was able to hardwired in better places than kitchen and living room. Cu my offices can’t be hardwired since they are downstairs. Electrical is the bare minimum. So eventually you will have to upgrade. Master bathroom we had to upgrade because floor was very slippery and 3 different neighbors agreed. They said double pane windows but they are not. We have made about 5 warranty calls. The HOA is not good at returning emails or calls either till they are ready to talk to you. The response time is a snails pace. Otherwise great neighbors. The gym is terrin as well. ... More

I was impressed with the kindness shown, knowledge regarding the homes, and the professionalism in helping me buy my home. Lennar cares about the individual home buyers and delivering a product meant to meet the buyers needs. I am completely delighted with my new home!

There were a few major issues in this house after it was closed on 7/26/24. I received keys after closing on 7/26/24, there were no blinds and no cleaning at all (lots of construction remains everywhere). Reported Leaking water from the 2nd floor and garage on 8/6/24. The construction was done on 8/21/24, including drying the wall paint.The water was leaking from the attic. The AC company visited twice. The last visit was on 8/16/24, but the water dripping issue is exactly the same (please see attached photo – Destiny told me that I can submit another ticket to recheck the roof or other leaking area) Here's how my family had an inconvenience from 7/26/24 to 8/22/24. I had to take pain medications due to body aches and headaches from sleeping in a button bed or being unable to sleep since 7/26/24 until 8/21/24 because of the 2nd floor and garage under construction. The loud fan sounds – made it impossible for anyone to sleep in those situations.There were 2 fans running 24 hours a day from 8/13/24 to 8/19/24 –Who's going to pay the electric bill?Never used AC till now, just tested by AC Tech while fixing it even in very hot weather in Chula Vista. (I am still unable to turn it on due to the water dripping issue.)I canceled all furniture's delivery – will pay the penalty.I couldn't use anything upstairs (all rooms, laundry, showers) from 7/26/24 to 8/21/24All family members were unable to stay home or sleep in this house instead of somewhere else due to construction until 8/21/24.Canceled on 8/17-8/18/24 housewarming and moving plans.Six relatives had canceled flight tickets due canceled to a house warming.All families were suffering. The quality of life has been very bad since the closing date of 7/26/24. During our home buying process we were met with nothing but difficulties in communication. My wife was due to deliver our first child and we needed the closing date moved to a later date. Every request was denied. Only after reminding the sales team of federal protections around medical conditions did they move the date….. one week back. During the walk-through, we found many issues with Sheetrock finish work, and even one wall was 4 inches out of plumb. The work quality on the construction displays the lack of care from the builders. After one full month of being in the home we have found more than a dozen nail pops that we have been told they will not repair. We’ve had a plumbing failure that took a week to repair. We a number of floor squeaks that have been assessed but no one has come to make repairs. Customer service comes second to making a profit. Poor, poor, poor customer service. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. The only reason we did not back out of the purchase was because we were old have lost our deposit. ... More

I could not be happier with this home and our experience with Lennar.

Many individuals that you work with following the purchase if there are issues seem to be quick to respond, communicate well. Just understand you get what you pay for then you will not have any issues. The overall workmanship, especially on the finishing leaves a lot to be desired, everything from uneven tile work, caulking & grout work, finishing cuts on trim, etc.

While writing contract & Signing it, I clearly mentioned i am buying on my LLC and all parties agreed and signed. Just 5 days before closing, they said, we can not give you on LLC as per Lennar Policy, i need to authorize and title can be on LLC. Since only 5 Days left, i un willingly accepted. But then Just one hour before closing, they said i can't have title on LLC, What ....!!! this is how you guys deal with. Construction Quality: Pros: Good Quality Construction, i appreciate that. Cons: While closing walk through, we did identified minor things, they agreed to fix, but they did not fix. when i asked, since its closed, they had lot of procedure to follow up and the guy who agreed to fix not honoring his words. Everything went exactly as planned with our closing and move. Our new home is exactly what it was suppose to be. No major issues. any small issues was dealt with quickly and to our full satisfaction.

Everything has been great. Only complaint is that there are NO closets anywhere (aside from the bedrooms). There are no linen closets, coat closets, storage closets, etc. There is plenty of space for them, so either that or a little larger spare bedrooms would have been nice to fill the additional dead space. Aside from that, everything is well built.

Seems like sales was not interested in our needs; just getting homes off the books. If we were told that they were having a sales event in July, we would have waited. We wanted the Waverly & got the largest home we could afford, the Osprey. We didn't know some of the larger homes may have a bonus room upstairs; didn't know that the there were more homes available other than the models. Would have liked to have brought our pool table, but sold because no room in Osprey. Sales person said when we do a Reverse to Purchase, would only have to put down half as much...LIE...ended up having to put down more. Wasn't told that A/C unit would be in back & outside our bedroom; the models show on the side. Back-flo is right next to it. With the small yards this takes away from our outdoor space. I want to say I appreciate my realtor Elizbeth , she was determine to make me a home owner and she did. She made sure that, I had to do and to get everything i need for me to get the home.

Called 3 weeks ago this past Tuesday to the project manager to let him know if things that need to be corrected … he came to see the issues with the house and said he would take care of it .. since then I have not had one person show up or call me back to take care of these issues .. I know they are busy but this is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF IT TAKES THIS LONG TO GET BACK WITH A HOME OWNER …PLEASE send someone back to my house to resolve these issues

I have not been in my home long enough to know how great the warranty service will be, but if they are as responsive as the items we found during the walk thru, then they will be Johnny-on-the-spot. From meeting the on-site realtor to closing, all of my questions were answered and concerns eased. Thank you Lennar Team which includes the personable and knowledgeable Lennar Mortgage loan officer.

The sales agent, Jamie, was very good. We had a good experience with her. Unfortunately, the construction manager, Chad, was not. He stopped communicating with us after closing. Very little of what we asked to be corrected actually got corrected. When defects were pointed out prior to closing, it was suggested that we submit warranty claims after closing. The construction manager's explanation was that the contractors who do the warranty work were better than the construction contractors Lennar uses to build homes. That is likely true - it would be very difficult for them to be worse! What they viewed as acceptable work was shocking to me. I won't go into detail here, but suffice it to say that in my opinion the overall quality of the construction was poor. Two pieces of advice if you are considering purchasing a Lennar home: (1) Absolutely get a home inspector; (2) Do not agree close until all items you have asked to be addressed have been corrected. ... Great process from start to finish! Everyone was so professional helpful and always went out of their way to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Lennar will always be part of our family

We never were allowed to talk directly to the construction manager or supervisor only thru our agent who was good by the way. I asked for superintendent several times to call me. We did not get one phone call. Many issues could have been resolved before our walk thru before closing. This process should be changed. We had grading and drainage issues from the house next door and the common area which is on the other side our house. I was assured they would be fixed after closing and as of today they are still not fixed. I should have never closed before they were fixed.
