Just over promised, under delivered.

The community is a good-looking community BUT since we got here, there are TOO MANY issues with the CDC not properly following up with things to do despite there is a major budget. So where does this budget money go? Also, they cancel meetings most of the time and the homeowner have little to say because they do not want to listen during the meetings. Also, gates are not working, sometimes the water fountain stop working, palms are all over the entrance, flowers have not been replaced nor the mulch and the grass looks pretty bad in many houses. After buying the house, there are so many problems, and it takes a while for the construction team to get it repair. It seems that similar issues are happening in many other communities built by Lennar. We hope that when Lennar leaves the community, FIX all the problems OR leave the money for the new HOA so we can have a beautiful community with HAPPY residents. Also, we hope that Lennar provides to the new HOA a way to acquire the clubhouse since there are rumors that the club might be sold to a third party. If that is the case, I will be selling my house and I know that it will be the same decision of other homeowners. NOT good for Lennar. ... More

Amazing experience, great team, amazing quality. Super happy

We were originally offered a chance to get a lower interest rate and then right before closing were told that there was no way to even consider lowering the interest rate, but it was kinda too late at that point for us. Our closing date was miscommunicated to us and after planning move out dates at our other place and setting up installation appointments at the new place, this delay in closing caused us to have to rush back and forth to get everything moved in half the time we expected to have. After moving in, we found multiple issues.....paint on the carpet, paint on the vinyl plank flooring, paint on the power outlets, drywall texture sprayed all over the windows and shower doors. Our garage door button wasn't connected all the way and shorted out. Our dryer circuit breaker wasn't connected at all. The circuit breaker for our microwave kept tripping b/c the wires were installed wrong. For a brand new house, we are having to spend A LOT of time fixing everything. If we wanted a fixer-upper, we would have chosen something much cheaper. Awful experience. Will never do business with Lennar again. ... More

The overall quality of home is good, the community is not, the landscaping in front of the house is lacking adequate plant material and the community slopes are a disaster. By not making your community improvements a priority (rec centers, slopes, front yard landscaping, street lights, sidewalks) you have and continue to impact your reputation and I would have to assume your sales. Also, the entrance gates do not appear to be designed to control foot traffic, Not sure if this is by design or not. I will need to review your EIR and conditions of approval.

Our initial sales agent Corina was perfect. Attentive and responsive Since then we have had nothing but problems. Plumbing leaks, painting issues, cabinet issues,, irrigation, counters and in trying to fix your problems your people have damaged our personal possessions. Oh and by the way one bathroom sink fell from the counter this morning. That is not all the issues we have put in for repair just what I can remember at the moment. Lennar has taken what was supposed to be a great experience and ruined it and taken 800k as well. Not something I will be recommending. Quite the opposite

my experiance with lennar was a nightmare i was minipulated and when i brought it to the attention to management at lennar morgage they simple said sorry.

Standard Quick construction homes at a decent price, depending upon the location and home plans etc. Construction quality is not great. Customer Warranty service is very poor. I have a HVAC issue going on now over a month, and they closed the ticket by saying fixed and completed. I had to reach out to management, and as usual they were unaware! Overall not so great experience as compared to other builders I deal with.

Trouble getting mailbox and keys

If you buy a house from Lennar, make sure you ask questions all informations that you're confused on because they dont explain things to you to level that you'll understand it and they expect that your comprehension about home buying informations are same as theirs. Another thing, make sure you review all paperworks before you sign the closing or as the notary agent explain stuff to you because again, the lender doesnt put out information to where your "credits" goes to and ours almost didnt get all credited because of lack of communication from lender. For inspections, their representative doesnt have honor on their words, if you see a discrepancy, make sure that they take care of it before you accept the house and its in writing, we got promised that some discrepancy will be corrected on our final walkthrough but since its not on the writing, we didn't get them to fix it because they dont deal with pest control even though its been promised on the final walk through. Dont trust any of their representative and double check all parts of your house as much as you can. If there's other property thats for sale close to our preferred location, we probably cancel purchasing this property and buy the other. There is one issue i am still waiting for the superintendent Daniel to resolve. That is the dead grass, at the orientation we asked about the dead grass and he informed us the grass was installed when it was cold then it turned hot so the grass was not doing good and then said they were going to fertilize and airate it. the following week when we closed the grass still looked dead so we asked him about it and he said he would continue watering it and would send an email (never got ) regarding the grass. When we moved in grass was still dead but there was a-lot of weeds so it looked green. i spoke to Daniel twice about the grass since we moved in and the first time he said he was going to get the landscaper over, i never heard from him so when i called back he said he had to talk to his boss. still waiting for a call back to tell me what his boss said. Very disappointing to come from the desert expecting nice green grass to only have weeds. i also was not happy i did not know about the big drain grate in my back yard. Thats what you get buying a house 1800 miles away and not seeing it till the orientation. Please contact me! trustworthiness and responsiveness are 4’s due to the dead grass. ... More

These 2 ladies were who helped us the most. Both went above and beyond to make our buying process simple timely. They were very informative and kind at the same time. Hard to find these days. Once the purchase was finished, Eddie has been most helpful in resolving any issues with repairs.

Drywall and paint were absolutely horrible throughout the home. If builder rep would have walked the home prior to 1st walk with homeowner and address these issues then maybe this would have been a better home buying experience. Closing was moved up to morning with 2nd walk scheduled in afternoon after close. Many issues from 1st walk not fixed. After 2nd walk issues were turned over to Warranty division where I worked with Jude to get my list of items fixed. I got tired of being told some of the paint items were “homeowner maintenance” issues. Same items not fixed from 1st walk, HAHA…..homeowner maintenance issues. A warrning to future Lennar buyers, delay your closing u til every single item on your inspection and all items from both walks are repaired. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD that these will be addressed. Delay the closing and upper level Lennar folks will put pressure to get things repaired. Right now, there is ZERO accountability at the neighborhood level. NONE ... More

The whole process was fast, all the staff were very friendly and attentive, when was the closing day everything in the house was perfect, beautiful appliances great spacious bedrooms, bathrooms etc. we loved it. Just we can’t wait for the pool be ready and the amenities. Thanks

The experience during the building phase right up to closing was excellent. The staff was responsive and proactive. But the open issues at the time of closing are unresolved (mostly cabinetry) - two months have gone by without anyone bothering to rectify them.

The Sales Department was my favorite part of my experience. David was there for me every step of the way! If I had a question he always had a answer or would cheerfully get the answer. Maintenance department is so good and they prep the home so very nice for delivery. Thank you Richard and team. Every part of the house buying was good except for the Lennar Mortgage. Nothing but problems!!! I would suggest getting the loan elsewhere.

I've very happy with my new home in Brunswick Plantations. Lennar's team have helped me all along the buying and moving in experience. They have been responsive to making fixes since moving in, and hopefully they'll continue to work out all of the kinks as promised.

What we were expecting in our new home is exactly what we got from Lennar Homes. It has been a great experience from the purchase process to moving into our new home.

Our home buying experience was stressful as we live out of state but the Lennar sales representative Ali made it more enjoyable Construction manager Robbie is certainly a valued employee of Lennar Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful

House is nice, good finisher and the exterior architecture look beautiful

THEY DELIVERED THE HOUSE TO ME WITH PROBLEMS, AND IT TOOK 2 MONTHS TO SOLVE THEM AFTER A LOT OF CHARGING.

This was our first time buying new construction. We thought Lennar was best of the best and instead we encountered problem after problem during the entire process. Sales reps lie. model home, website, and documentation all advertise “everything included” then when you sign off on paperwork and close you find out not everything they said was included is included. They change it up and then tell you sorry you’re out of lucky. Nothing we can do. Lennar mortgage couldn’t get anything straight. Always asking for the same paperwork. Then sending us wrong numbers. Lennar insurance is another screw up. Quoted us one number then sent us a ridiculous quote for 5x more and then turned out they sent us someone else’s quote with their personal information. Then sent us correct quote but still 5x higher. Ended up going with Mercury for the best price. Customer Care rep Will, is unreachable. Never responds to my texts. Even when I immediately text him back after he asks me a question regarding the service requests I open. He never responds. And when he reaches out about a service request it’s usually weeks later. Horrible horrible customer service. I could go on and on. Do your research. Don’t let them take advantage of you. Don’t believe everything they say and don’t believe the documentation and website either because the like to change things up last minute. Good luck! I won’t be buying Lennar ever again. Other than no response to that, we have had a great experience. Don't tell us that will be handled in w weeks and we are still waiting 2 months later.

They built what they said they were going to build. We had a pre-dry wall inspection completed and Lennar got high marks on that. The have a pre-close inspection and while there were several (minor) and mostly cosmetic items to fix, they were very responsive in getting these items fixed before we closed, a week or so later. I give them a B+ / A- overall.
