Quality issues especially with the electrical components of the home. Fuses blow every other day and at the moment, our electric car cannot be charged because the 220V plug does not bring juice to the electric car charger. Its an every day task to go out to the garage and reset a fuse that tripped in various rooms of the house. The final delivery of the home keys was ridiculous. It was at that point, we as a homebuyer were nothing more then a commission check for the Lennar sales agent. CarMax makes you feel pretty special when you purchase on of their cars and they are 1% of what a new home sells for. Car dealers also assign you a technology advisor to get all of your electronics setup. Lennar hands you a stack of manuals and says "figure it out and good luck". Tim was pretty responsive at first to things now working but now as moved on to other "hair on fire" urgent problems with the new releases of homes. Home Lottery - not at all trustworthy! Everyone from Lennar played that game, much like when the car salesman "Would go in the back to speak with the sales manager", not a good customer feeling. Sales people under-staffed, knew very little of home details because they were often rotated to other Lennar properties. Instead they pointed us at the website, which was full of inaccurate home information. I looked at the plot map one day and saw there were homes for sale. The Lennar sales agent said "Oh you cant trust whats on the website". So if the website was wrong and the sales staff had no idea whether they were selling in the 92129 or the 92108 zip code, where does a consumer go when making one of the most biggest decisions in their life? ... After purchasing, I've made several calls to Lennar folks requesting information, guidance or touch up paint. All calls have remained unanswered. I'm extremely disappointed with this company.

Buying experience with Lennar is just painful from Loan process to closure. Lack of information and so much of confusion created by the Loan officer, Insurance and everything enroute including closure with so much confusion on when is closing until the day before. So many issues even after closure that I couldn't rent out for a month just to fix the umpteen number of issues that took repeated tickets to be created for AC etc. The only one that I should recognize for being better is Mike on the maintenance side that raised prompt tickets for resolution despite so many repeated occurrences. I am surprised how Lennar became so big construction company with so many incompetent people working as if in a Government organization not caring about customers. I hope not to work with them ever. It's a waste to write this review to spend time on Lennar. But I am still writing to ensure they change and give better user experience for future buyers. ... More

Our sales representative Chris was absolutely awesome! Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Our buying process was very quick with no hiccups.

Home has a lot of small imperfections that are being taken care of but the one issue I have is a dead palm tree. This issue was mentioned at all 3 walk thrus with the construction manager. When Lennar was questioned about replacement, they said there was nothing about the tree and that the construction manager did not recall any of our conversations regarding the fact that the tree was dead.

Brought an issue in the master bath to their attention. We are in the middle of the repair process, but feel confident this will be completed quickly to our satisfaction.

Great homes,and good prices

We were rushed into buying a home and selling ours at a lower price then we wanted. We were told if we weren't under contract within 2 weeks that our interest rate would jump from 5% to 7.2%. A week after we got a contract, lennar was advertising 4.5%. The upstairs is hot because dampners went set correctly and my furnace/AC leaks in the basement

For me, I felt like the loab approval process was a bit much. I was asked questions that I didn't really feel was appropriate. They also asked for the same documents that I'd already sent in to a previous employee. I felt like they weren't communicating to each other. I think that a better quality paint should have been used. The paint is not able to be wiped down without the paint coming off the walls.Other than that, I love my new house.

Tom in the office was great. Sharmin in customer care was excellent. John and Travis, both construction managers, could use some training on repairs and communication with homeowners.

We bought this home as a second home to beat the heat of Florida Summers. Lenard’s people are caring and want to resolve issues. We have experienced some things we have not seen before in other 7 home we have owned. Our plumbing in half the house backed up after 3 weeks, floors have major dips in them and light is showing under front door threshold. Things I believe will get straightened out. Just kind of a pain. The house looks nice and will ultimately do, for why we bought it.

My experience with Lennar was easy and uncomplicated. Working with Darci at Lennar mortgage was super easy. After moving in I’ve had to report a couple of minor issues and they have responded quickly with professionals to resolve the issue. Most of all I’m so happy with my new neighborhood! Chaotic purchase. Their in house mortgage/underwriting has poor communication overall but the customer-facing people were great. The house itself is beautiful, but really frustrated with the patio especially. When I walked through the first time it looked as if the patio floods during heavy rains and I asked the builder about it and he assured me it was all construction dirt….. turns out that the patio definitely floods when it rains. Small construction/finishing errors throughout the house that aren’t huge but definitely do your walkthroughs in person and be as picky as possible. Ally did a great job showing us the exact location we were looking for. Small issue that have come up were taken care of right away. Really enjoy the amenities and the friendly people who we live around. Closing was not a positive experience because they closed on so many homes on the day assigned to us.

The AC contractor does not even check if the system is working correctly or not. He installed it and left the AC to run continuously and not responding to the temperature we set it for. The FPL invoice ran into hundreds even with no people inside the home for over 45 days. Next is the water heater was not even running the hot water and the construction manager does even look into these either during walking or closing. Next is the cabinets not even provided and once again the construction manager promises that they would be completed by closing but 5 days after they were not completed. Next is the audit of the loan that is being done by Lennar which is their internal Process, the lennar agent keeps asking for various documents even after closing. They don’t spend time searching for the records which I submitted before closing. The whole process of buying a home with lennar is not a pleasant thing. To add up finally the Construction manager and St loan processor were not up to the mark in performing the duties and the Quality control by whoever at Lennar needs to check for appliances to work the right way when installed, these are big ticket items to repair when they go wrong. ... Sharmin with customer care is awesome!

Overall, we are very happy with our townhome. Other than the garage, the workmanship was great, but we wish there were window casings, Crown molding, and towel bars. They offered a nice incentive package to be applied towards closing, but didn’t tell us until after the fact that a portion of that would go to buying down the interest rate with Lennar Mortgage.

From start to finish, we are very pleased with our purchase experience. The initial contact was professional; our rep listened to our wants and needs and worked with us to find the home we wanted. We wanted our choice of elevation and location above all else so we opted to skip using our own realtor. I can absolutely say the Lennar sales rep helped us into the right deal where we have truly feel we got a good deal. The design center was a breeze to work with. Our requirements were simply to get the flooring and cabinets we liked. That could not have been easier. We used Lennar to finance the purchase and again, they came through with more competitive rates than anywhere else. We shopped a few lenders and Lennar beat them all. Kudos to the Lennar Mortgage team in Las Vegas. And finally the construction management team for our community. The site managers are simply top notch. They kept us informed and helped answer all of our questions and concerns. This is our fifth home and quite likely our last. We love the Desert's Edge community. Lennar over promises and does not deliver. They rushed me through the process and promised things would be fixed BEFORE the closing. That did not happen.

Lennar has responded quickly, but after nearly 2 months many issues are still not resolved. The workmanship is poor, and we have been dealing with a very hot upstairs due to A/C issues. The price and location was good, but we have been underwhelmed thus far.

From start to finish my experience was outstanding, my sales representative went up and beyond the call to keep me updated on the progress of my home, my building manager was so on point during my walk through he identified a few things that I over looked, everything was taken care of the express closing was spot on, it made closing day enjoyable for me. Thank you Lennar I love my home you all did an outstanding job making my path to homeownership possible and giving me a great experience AWESOME
