the overall purchase was nice and there were no issues I am currently going through the process for some cabinet issues and so far that process has been great, but it is still in process. We moved from out of state and unfortunately the company could not wait an extra 6 days to do the landscaping and all of our grass is probably not going to make it and looks dead At this point this is the main issue we have.

There are things that don’t work to your needs, like cabinets in the kitchen, poor design, especially because supposedly are for older people, they should be easier to set up things…. the shower door is out of balance, so goes back to you and hits you when you are trying to get dry; the extractor by the stove is not attached to any tube that goes outside the roof, so you get all that noise for nothing, because the hot air and smoke goes back into your space …… The quality of the open and close blinders are extremely cheap and they probably will brake soon and it’ll be no way to fix it; that ...

Overall, the buying process was smooth and satisfactory. Unfortunately, the quality of some materials leaves much to be desired. The cupboards feel subpar, and the drywall is quite thin and fragile, with paint chipping from even minor scratches. The value for the price is just okay, given the quality of materials used. Responsiveness to issues has been lacking. There has been minimal follow-up on concerns raised, and no clear proof has been provided regarding the resolution of third-party inspection findings. The builder and team seem trustworthy and professional in their dealings.

We purchased the home when it was almost complete. While the home is wonderful and we are very happy, I would recommend upgrading the paint and carpet padding. These small things make a HUGE difference. Semi gloss in more areas would have been a much better option. The paint we have is extremely flat almost like a primer only quality. The carpet is okay but better quality padding would have been much better. I want to reiterate we bought our home when it was close to completion and we are very happy so far!

The sales people were great, quite knowledgable and very responsive. The closing team was amazing. It was the smoothest closing that we've ever been through. Our home could be close to amazing. The structure itself is very high quality and the designs are beautiful. On the other hand, the finishes are something else altogether. It is the absolute WORST drywall job of any house we have ever lived in. (This makes 29 homes) there are walls that curve as much as an inch from floor to ceiling! The finish on the drywall looks like a 5th grader did it. (There is a reason they use only flat ...

The home buying experience was great. Everyone that help me made me feel very comfortable during the buying process. I have a lot of details in my home that was not fixed, for example- painting issues, water leak by a window.

Overall I’m happy with the house. Before purchasing I inquired about the dead sod and was told fit needed heat to grow and the “good” areas of the yard was a different kind of sod. Well it’s not growing and was told they would deal with the neighborhood as a whole. That was 6 weeks ago and still no answer. After a month of watering the shrubs on the hill they just died and not just mine all 4 other houses have died too.

Nice house - dealing with post issues response is poor

In general, the house is well-constructed. Ant issues initially, but I believe I've taken care of the problem. The house has no gutters - so that's an add-on charge and ditto for a yard fence. There was a construction issue where someone cut through the condenser line in the outside wall. Created mold and am waiting for a repair. Have a nice little extra light from the outside, however. Warranty guy was quick to show up to review, slow to fix and going on a couple weeks now.

Have a issue with dust or residue from dried rain when the house was being built. I told the building supervisor and there was no response. Purchased to bags of sweeping compound from Lowes to get it up.

Quality and workmanship is questionable. To be fair, not just Lennar. Other top Builders have the same issues. Social medial is full of unsatisfied buyers. It is the way of the times. Keep costs low by hiring unskilled labor.

Lennar offers affordable homes and make buying a smooth and secure process. They have been responsive on repairs and make the process of reporting problems easy with quick turnaround. The only real complaint I have is the cost of utilities in New Braunfels. As I transferred utilities under my name as reqyi by Lennar after closing & not occupying the home until one month later I received a water bill of $422.20 and a gas bill of $215. Lennar put sod & 2 trees on the property and ignored the drought watering rules of watering on Thursdays only and set the timer for 7 days a week, twice ...

Recent Homebuying Experience with Lennar

My recent purchase of a Thompson collection worked out great in terms of purchasing process, documentation and financing. The moving in process was quick and efficient with about 2 months of delivery time after my signature. However, I feel like I was a bit rushed with the homeowners orientation and closing. There were some of the interior details that needs fixes and touch ups that I quickly ignored because I didn't want to take too much time to prolong the process. However, I'm only noticing the team is very slow to the responsiveness of the issues and trying hard not to perform any fixes ...

Overall a very good experience. The one fly in the ointment was closing day. The general building manager did our walk through and made promises he could not keep. None of them were a big deal. If he hadn't made promises we would have been fine. But he did, and then did not follow through. He should have the maturity not to promise if he cannot deliver.

The home buyer process is great. The workmanship is not up to par. We just had to SAND and repaint the entire interior of the house. Scraping glue and tile mastic off the bath floors. I put in a request last week about the lawn, nothing but weeds, standing water problems in between the houses, erosion at the corner of the slab and no AC flow in the MBR closet. And, I haven’t had anyone contact me about those issues.

We love our home. We feel like we were mislead and are extremely disappointed to find out after the fact when we wanted to have a fence installed that 24% of our property is an easement. Shaun never disclosed this to us and we are not surveyors and the plot plan was not given us at closing or explained to my wife and I or our realtor. It is crazy to think you need a 30 ft drainage easement in Indiana. I lose 15ft of my 16 ft lot on one side and 15ft in the back yard. Our neighbor also loses 15ft on the side of their house. I have spoken to a couple other couples moving in their homes and they ...

The parts you don’t see are spectacular ( furnace, AC, water heater, insulation, electrical, plummeting). What needs attention is the construction team your house gets during the inside construction phase. Way too many visible dents and seems and dented squeaky doors. While Lennar will come back to address these issues, the house deserves better inspection prior to a walk thru. Also, while I understand “ the bottom line” especially during these current economic times, some standard items on the single family homes have been removed For example, soft close hinges on the cabinets. They ...

Pretty good experience overall, a few construction quality issues, that if not pointed out and corrected by buyer could have been a problem post settlement. Response to concerns were handle before settlement and I’m overall very happy with the final product and purchase. Response to post settlement issues has been satisfactory and a good process. Now I just would like to see community improvements continue to be done, (ie grass, trees and overall visual improvements continue to be a priority to make this the community Lennar promised it would be no prior to purchase.

This is my 3rd new construction home and my experience with Lennar has opportunities for improvement related to craftsmanship and responsiveness . We had carpet tacks all over beyond any experience we had before and the response we received is that is normal which is not. The sliding door in the kitchen was missing the lock. The lock was not there at alll and two months in the air conditioner is not working when is hot and the feedback is that an appointment is set for two weeks later to have someone to just check. This is not the experience I was looking to have specially when this is my ...

Steve was amazing through out this home buying experience. Great all around person! The responsiveness was always prompt. The home has been great and the neighborhood peaceful. Some of the areas around the home have been disheartening. I have glue on the floors in several threshold that won’t come up and scratches on the floor tiles unrelated to moving as no furniture was moved into the bathrooms. Paint imperfections exist throughout the house. I expected better appliances/fixtures for the money paid for the home.
