The sales process was easy. Lennar mortgage needs improvement. So many repetitive disclosures and multiple times submitting documents when they are clearly on the site. Then, we didn't have the scheduled walk-though at stud stage and another later before the two week before closing walk-through. It was noted that Lennar doesn't like to close a house at this stage of the build but they pushed ahead anyway. The anxiety of not being able to close since there were no appliances until the day before closing was enormous. I don't know why you bother putting appliances in that are low grade and not let the buyer choose. There are several items that were not finished before I took possession that are on "the list". Our slab is so uneven that you can feel yourself walking up and down as you walk through. The trim work is terrible. Paint all over everything.

Overall, I am pleased with our new home, but as the months have passed everything cannot be blamed on a house settling. More attention or better materials need to be used on the steps. We have to repair the materials used to seal the sides of the steps. It almost looks like cracked caulking all the way up from level to level. I am not happy about that and it is an eye soar!

The buying process was smooth. The after we bought it oart has been a joke. No shows for fixes. Things not being completed when they were supposed. Horrible communication.

I bought a Pulte home last year, but it was too small and decided to go with Lennar on a bigger home. The overall workmanship was poor and the quality of materials for cabinets, paint, baseboards, size of patio only 6x4, irrigation missing spots and not covering evenly., handles on toilets breakdown after 4 months. I understand this is not a custom home, but even with higher building costs and labor I think a better product can be offered. There are many things I would change that would not affect the bottom line to much and provide the consumer a home they will be happy with immediately. P.S. why do you not put in a screen door for the back of the house slider in Florida. Had to pay $200+ from the vender. ... More

Stay on top of your build. Make sure you are getting what you paid for. Customer care is the easiest way to get issues resolved. All in all I am happy with my new home.

Roseanne was awesome so was Ken. Issues are with the two guys who field calls when their are issues Bert and the other guy can’t remember his name really don’t want to.

Lennar was up front about everything and staff was friendly as well as helpful. Made our buying experience easy.

There are many warranty issues that are hard to get fixed due to so many issues with other homes.

Excellent home buying experience with lennar

Sales person (Jeremiah) was awesome and attentive. Once closed, not happy with the CCR (not worth mentioning name) Customer Care Rep did not address my issues then was no longer assigned to my area. Next rep (Hannah) was GREAT! She picked up where someone else failed, sadly, she was transferred. Now I haven't even met the new CCR. I wish I would have a rep who care to listen to my concerns. Frustrating to not have issues addressed. HOA is crazy fast to report. With all this rain, lawn service companies are backed up and sure enough I get a "warning" seriously upset that there is no consideration....but that is a HOA for you, beware! ... More

my out side garage lites have not worked since i moved in six months ago when are they going to come and solve the problem.

Great buying experience. However the building association is terrible at responding to your needs.

Great house. Painting is not the best. So far customer service has been awesome!

Customer service bad after closing

Overall process was great for the exception of the loan process in which we experienced poor communication with our loan officer

My bathtub and shower floors are both stained and even after trying to clean them they remain stained. There were paint splatters all over my floors. Oven had a warped fan and the refrigerator doors are not aligned. I’ve had service people out for various repairs and none of them have been done properly.

The home is beautiful we love it. Great value for the price. Good customer service. I don’t regret my decision to buy this home. I did experience some concerning issues that could’ve been tragic - tankless water heater gas line nuts were hand tightened and cleared inspection. Gas was leaking in garage when I first walked in, at first it was a faint, vague smell, but on day two I called the gas company. They immediately identified the issue and fixed. Good thing I’m not a smoker or none of my movers smoked or we’d be gone. GFI in garage kept tripping, turning off water heater daily. Electrician was called and discovered the breaker wire in the panel was loose, he tightened it and replaced GFI switch just in case. Carpet edges had nails sticking up in various places. I was stuck by one in the foot that thankfully didn’t pierce. I then inspected the rest of the house and found several others, I fixed those myself with a hammer. Other items we’re minute compared to those two. Called customer care for other items. The vinyl fence was blown off by the winds on day two. Lennar came and reassembled it but still waiting on a missing fence post cap. It seems the fence is assembled like legos, and does not have permanent installation materials like screws or glue. Being this region is known for high winds, I would think construction would have figured out to use stronger materials to withstand. The final observation was the drywall material inside the home is very cheap. It has crumbled very easily when I install curtain rods and shelves. For being our first time, we are very satisfied with our decision. Lennar has very nice house designs and customer service support is top notch. However, there are some details that can improve, like quality of the materials- some are cheap -, finishing touches, like sockets bad positioned, corners from our garage in cement were not finished, carpeting nails could be a little less prominent, etc. my recommendation is to check these small details at your house orientation.

Make sure when you take your final walk thru that all work was performed to standards. The quality of my home was not to the standards that a Lennar home is known for and I feel that it is because they are rushing to build the homes to get more built quickly.

I don't like this kind of surveys because at the end for a few bad apples the whole team is rated.
