Very pleased with the process. All our issues were addressed in a timely fashion. Love the area, very centrally located to stores.

The purchasing process was not difficult. I would like the company to do more research into the modern market of materials and technologies and apply it. 2024 is just outside the window and some decisions look old.

We are beyond disappointed after spending half a million dollars on a home where the walls aren’t square, nail pops all over the house, the pendant lights are not center over the bar, and we have nothing but dead grass outside. Awful experience. Wouldn’t do it again, and I wish we backed out of the deal.

The lottery system for initial purchase was intimidating and caused us to hesitate to make an offer to purchase for the first couple of phase releases in the Lilac community at the Junipers. Fortunately for us, the model we were interested in fell out of escrow and was offered for public sale and we were able to make an offer without going though the lottery. Overall we were happy with the closing process and Lennar Title/ Escrow and Lennar’s responsiveness to final inspection issues. The post sale concierge has been responsive to issues raised and promptly arraigned for correction of identified issues. We are overall pleased with our purchase as we got a great neighborhood and a good house. We also knew what we were getting moving in. If you go in understanding that there's plenty of poor quality items, you'll be much happier. The paint is atrocious. I think they must skip primer and only use one coat, that's for inside and outside. And the drywall is horrible. It's so soft if you push your nail into it, it'll leave a mark. We plan on repainting in the next year and expect that will help They mostly make the process easy and it was pretty fast. The employees are all very nice. We live in a construction area but we're impressed with how clean the construction areas are kept, way better than the other builders nearby. We couldn't afford the more upscale builders but we feel we got a good value. There's just plenty that we'll have to take care of. Oh, and the included appliances are super low quality. We're saving up to replace them when they break in two years. Honestly, we love the layout and the neighborhood. We'd recommend the builder to anyone wanting a new home that comes in with eyes open and knows they aren't a high end builder. They are a mass builder and better than a lot of the other mass builders. ... More

The sales team at Lennar was very helpful. Once I made my choice of home, they were available to walk the property with me and answer any questions I may have had. Since moving in, there have been several warranty issues that needed to be addressed. I give the warranty team and A+ in their communication, the courtesy of the workmen, and their speed and workmanship. Overall, I am very pleased with my Lennar home and would readily recommend them to friends and family.I

Salesman was great but workmanship of homes are a mess, no quality control . Worst builder i have dealt with. I have purchased Lennar and other builders but this process was horrible

We had a leak in the downstairs bathroom where a nail was put through a cold water line. Mold was found in the walls from the leak and required holes to be placed in the walls and flooring in the downstairs bathroom, hall closet and entry area near the garage. We had a sewage blockage that was noticed in our walk-through. There was carpet installed on the stairs over broken floorboards. There was vinyl flooring placed over a hole in the sub-flooring in the master bathroom. I had to spend a few hours scrubbing white overspray from our flooring because the Lennar representative wanted to come use Acetone to try and clean it, which is very clearly recommend against, and I didn’t want further damage to my floors. Overall the experience has not been ideal and the quality of the build I would not rate highly. ... More

Overall, we were happy with the new home. We have had a few warranty items come up, but they were resolved quickly. Alexis has been great to work with on all those issues. A common theme we have experienced and heard other neighbors complaining about is how hot these houses are in the summer. Even though the air conditioning system is working as it’s supposed to, and the insulation is to spec, we found several air gaps in the attic (under the insulation). They were causing us to lose a lot of the conditioned air and gain a lot of heat. Making it hard for the system to keep up. Lennar can’t seem to fix this issue so we had to come out of pocket to find relief. Otherwise we love the community and our new home. ... More

We had high hopes for building with Lennar but they failed in many areas. Communication was extremely lacking, workmanship was subpar, and the Title company was less than professional. I had previously heard differently from others, but based upon my experience, I cannot imagine referring friends to Lennar.

Home is cheaply built, as you walk the floor non stop creaking. Things that should have been completed as promised before us moving in still was not. Opening in the attic, the house dirty with insects, slide door can't open n sooo much more. I have certainly learned my lesson about Lennar and their construction managers.

Process was easy was you go through the initial start up. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been very caring and respectful.

Our move from the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County was somewhat traumatic because we were leaving a home we had lived in since mid 1977, or almost 47 years. Obviously we had accumulated and saved decades of personal belongings. That alone contributed to much of our discomfort. The Lennar team responded to our move experience and tribulations with care and understanding, but sometimes coping with requirements for passwords and access to many security-related document requirements created further complications and frustrations. We are in our mid 80’s and unaccustomed to much of the current security-related requirements that require numerous methods for identification and security. Nonetheless, Lennar leads the pack for using modern updated online documentation, These new methods and their use by the Lennar mortgage and sales teams created much friction. Now all of that is over and in the past so we can now concentrate on adjusting to our great new residence and accomplish a pleasant settlement into our new home residence in Santa Clarita, CA. ... Was not the best experience with the mortgage, multiple issues and this isn't my first home. It's my 7th. WAY to many people to deal with and communication was a challenge at best. Quality is ok, but the crew that does the finish work not so great. Have found multiple finishes that are mediocre. They seem to be more concerned about getting them to completion rather than Quality.

The Lennar representative lied to us about the amenities being included in the HOA price in SQ. After trying to use the pool, we found out that it was not included and required membership to the country club. This would have been nice to know at the beginning of the home buying process, as the amenities were one reason for buying in the SQ community. Repairs were still being done one hour before closing because they weren't completed when they were supposed to be. The home walkthrough was done one week prior. After closing, we picked up our keys and went to the house. The keys didn't work. They somehow got messed up, and the keys didn't work on the locks on the house. This completely ruined the day. I spent the rest of the day contacting the builder and waiting for the locks smith to come redo the house. The dishwasher was one of the last-minute items that needed to be completed prior to closing. We moved in, used the dishwasher for the first time, and returned to the kitchen covered in water. After researching, I found that the drain plug was still in, and the drain hose was disconnected. It should be the responsibility of the homebuyer to take out the drain plug if the builder is installing the dishwasher. There were multiple other issues that needed service requests within the first week of moving in, including emergency plumbing because dirt got into the sewer drain and caused the toilet and sinks to be backed up in the house. Jeff our contact e-mailed us that the door company says they can fix with glue and spackle. The crack is getting larger by the day This door is defective. We want a new door for the new house we bought

I first started this journey about two years ago with a sales agent Consultant Diana she was real nice at first, but after I didn’t get, I didn’t receive my earnest money back until I got in contact with a sales consultant named Stephanie it took nine months before I finally got my money back thanks to Stephanie’s efforts. Later, I decided again to purchase a home from Lennar sales consultant by the name of Ray he went above and beyond answered all my questions even gave me information that I didn’t even ask for I’m a real estate agent and I felt most comfortable with him. we finally this year closed and I’m happy to be in my new home. it is just another builder who doesn't care about customer, you ask for something after giving them money and they make you slave. They don't have any good communication process or steps, there is a big time disconnect between sales, construction manager, underwriter, loan officers, they don't talk to each other at all, so frustrating process.

Company reps had no concern about customers, only keeping on schedule and selling a house. Build quality was not very good. Final cleaning was non existent. Company did not respond to issues we brought up on our final walkthru, only their own. Would never recommend them to anyone else

Their selling price is very competitive. Construction and warranty managers are responsible and willing to help resolving issues. Their communities usually provide a lot of amenities.

In general, the house is well-constructed. Ant issues initially, but I believe I've taken care of the problem. The house has no gutters - so that's an add-on charge and ditto for a yard fence. There was a construction issue where someone cut through the condenser line in the outside wall. Created mold and am waiting for a repair. Have a nice little extra light from the outside, however. Warranty guy was quick to show up to review, slow to fix and going on a couple weeks now.

Overall, we had a good experience with our purchase. The warranty group has been responsive and professional. Our sales agent, Matt, was excellent.

Not professional , not informed correctly , bad communication . I’ve dealt with builders in the past and did not experience what I have experienced with Lennar . Their finance team is no good
