Overall very happy with our new home purchase. There are some minor issues that we have to take care of since the house was a former model home and purchased “as is”. Quality of tile craftsmanship was only average and paint splatters have been found all around the home on the hardwood floors. It does clean off but the cleaning crew that prepared the home for us was subpar. The baseboards and window sills were dusty and corners had cobwebs. Items that made the walk through punch list were handled and fixed quickly. We love this home and are comfortable that we will be here for many years! The people in the community are friendly and welcoming. Continuing construction is a little noisy and yet expected. It should clear up soon! ... More

Our new townhome was a great value in a wonderful neighborhood.

The staff at Lennar are wonderful and the buying process was made as simple as possible. The real issue that Lennar needs to work on, is the finishing work and hire contractors that deliver a much higher quality of craftsmanship than they do today. We had a terrible walk through and closing experience due to the bevy of unresolved items that our project manager didn’t handle. If Lennar had a quality coordinator to review and follow through on work prior to presenting a home to a new owner it would greatly improve the process in our opinion. People shouldn’t spend this kind of money on a home , and then have to chase down and work with the Contractors to finish things that should have been done prior to closing. Good luck. ... More

Lots of problem with new builds

This is the second Lennar home I’ve bought within four years. From my experience, Lennar has greatly improved their services. I do like the educational videos, and their process for warranty requests have greatly been improved. I do like my home, but workmanship still has a lot to be desired. For example, my pavers at one spot keep collapsing, and I have noticed that there isn’t as much as a speck of the white polymer sand applied on the surface to fill in the spaces. As a result, the spaces are enlarging. I have had a couple tickets called in for repairs in certain spots, which were done, but the issue keeps resurfacing. I am confident that Lennar will have a permanent solution for the pavers. After all, curb appeal is an introduction to one’s home. The sales lady was great. The man in charge of the build was great. Both super friendly and made the process tolerable. It was much better experience than we had with Ryan Homes. Decent value with the fence, blinds, sod, and watering g system included. Quality is a concern - back door leaked, water bib not put on correctly so it blew the control valve out. Other small things that are frustrating on an expensive house. The garage is barely long enough for our cars so it is really tight and for as much money as we paid, that is unacceptable. Some fixtures are cheap. Again, some nice features but others belong in a house that is half the cost. I think we overpaid so the value is just not there and to be disappointed with the garage, with cut corners, and other things just does not lead to a good value in my opinion. ... More

We love our new home and the buying experience was a breeze. Starting with Merry. She’s always available to answer questions. The only downfall have been the touch ups and repairs we need. 90% of which were pointed out on our initial walk through. It’s been almost 2 months since we moved in and only 2 repairs have been done. Some repairs have done more damage. The heat didn’t work and there was no thermostat prior to moving in. We were told they would be fixed. Wall are thermostat is so dirty from installation. Heat didn’t work after moving in. When they finally fixed it, the attic access is so dirty. Everything went very well but they are taking long time to come fix when infector put green and blue taps in the house to fix it. Its been 2 months and we are still waiting for it

Purchasing the home we had an excellent experience. Once closing was completed and the punch list needed to be addressed our texts and phone calls are not being returned. The repairs are not being addressed and it’s been almost 60 days.

The house was realy well done, but theres some things that are not fixed and the house is now in use. Like garbage boxes, front door, painting etc.

The purchasing process including using Lennar mortgage was wonderful. My issues began when I closed before a few things were repaired and almost 2 months later I still have issues that haven’t been addressed. My contact was moved before the issues were resolved and customer service has stepped in to try to help. I am super frustrated at the communication post sale. I was not shown how anything worked in my walkthrough nor was I given any information. My precious new construction purchase was much better post sale. I am at this time confused as to who to go to for what and am frustrated that I still have a couple things that should’ve already been taken care of. The quality of workmanship is not there. It feels as if they were rushed or just simply didn’t care and the construction manager was not very nice to work with.

Our experience with our sales rep, Cheryl, was outstanding. She is super responsive and kind, and went out of her way to answer all of our questions. It's clear that she has a great relationship with the community. Scott was very good throughout the mortgage process. As for the builder, even though we had hired a private inspector before drywall and at final walk through, there are still flaws in the door frames (chinks), baseboards (big chinks), and floor planks (defective) that need to be addressed. The flaws that the inspector did catch and that were ultimately addressed were glaring and should never have even been present in the first place from a quality standpoint. Lack of attention to detail was evident here and there. Our refrigerator water wasn't hooked up on installation (since repaired but with a lot of effort and confusion). One of the drawers in the kitchen wouldn't close (it's now on order). One of our biggest issues was with the plantings (completely dead plants that we've since replaced at our own expense) in the front and the sod still has dead spots and those areas need to be replaced. Before we moved in we pointed out a problem with the kitchen cabinets and a drawer in the bathroom. Parts had to be ordered, then an appointment made in early July was made to fix them. Nobody showed up for the appointment. We discovered we have no key for the back door in the master bedroom or to the door leading to the garage from the house. Waiting for keys. Weren’t told about bug spraying company that comes out monthly? Something about putting our front door on Wi-Fi? No thank you.

Actually purchasing the home was a great experience. Felt like we were always involved and updated. Home was built very quickly and generally we love the home. Our issues started immediately though and there have been many problems we have found over the first month. Some of the issues have been resolved and some we are still waiting for a response from Lennar on when these issues will be fixed. Being a brand new home and for the amount we spent on the home would expect a much higher quality of work and quality control process from the builders before they ever let us move into the home. Lennar has dealt with most of the issues its just a waiting game on when they will show up and get things resolved. Happy with home but people constantly at the house to fix issues is not a great look. ... More

My builder was always courteous and prompt whenever I had questions. Many things went wrong that were out of his control. One thing Lennar needs to change is offering a way to get prompt service for appliance issues since they are providing the appliance package with the home. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for a repairman to come look at my ice maker and I had to call him myself through GE.

Great experience with Terrance keeping me up to date on the completion date. Construction Manager useless everything he said he would fix before closing was not even touched (walk through was 5 days before closing). Place was not clean construction post and permit box left on front lawn, 5 gallon bucket of joint compound left in garage pieces of concrete left all over the place. It was not a great first look when pulling up to a new home. The reason I only gave trust worthiness a 1 is Actions or lack of action by your construction manager.

We were buying site unseen and Cody and Rick were absolutely wonderful! The whole process went very smooth. We would give them both a 10!!!! The thing that did disappoint us is some of the workmanship in our new home and also with the cleanliness of the home. I do understand some of it was because we moved in during the winter but still very disappointed.

Some parts of the house were built with exquisite quality and worksmanship. Other parts were just...not The sales department agents were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. At no time did we ever felt lack of honesty or transparency. More importantly Lennar's agents response to remedy the issues have been above and beyond, It changed our perspective of the whole experience.

There were a few open issues when we were closing the house. However the construction manager Edward was very lousy and didn't take care of all these open issues once the closing was completed.

My Lennar realtors Gina and Cathy where amazing to work with. They really help me through the whole process and contacted me in a timely manner any time I had questions or concerns. Tara my Lennar lender was also great and very helpful. the over all home is wonderful and I am very happy, my biggest disappointment is the paint quality I was told it was going to be Satin but its egg shell an nothing wipes off the walls. its very frustrating building a new home and already need to paint so it will hold up longer over the years and be easier to maintain. I have had to have several other small things fixed and the contractor and team where great to work with. ... More

Mortgage/ home buying process was great. Did have some issues upon moving in that I am having issues getting resolved.

We chose Lennar because of their reputation. I never owned a Lennar home before. My last few home have been new builds with DR Horton, Ryan and now Lennar. Overall the home is nice, I believe the craftsmanship could be better, drafts around winds and doors, drywall dust everywhere, paint splashes all over the tile and flooring. When you pay $400,000 for a home you expect better, especially a brand new home. The customer service could be better also, when you are in the home buying process everyone is your friend and wants to help, but once you get the keys after closing it's hard to get responses and help. I never received my HOA docs until a week after closing and I thought by law you are suppose to receive them a week before closing to review. So things like that, I didn't like. Lennar has been in the business for many years so amateur mistakes like that should never happen. If you are going to buy a Lennar home, keep notes and stay on them to get answers and results, especially HOA related issues and documents. I think they are getting to big for their britches and the customer service has paid the price! ... More

Our overall experience with Lennar has been good. We are very disappointed in their choice of materials for the faux stone on the exterior which didn’t allow application of the stone per architectural drawings. They left a 5” gap at the bottom leaving exposed foundation. We are also disappointed that the vanities they chose in the bathrooms have no drawers. Extremely inconvenient. We closed in October and still have 5 incomplete items from our punch list. Make sure everything is completed before you close.

There’s no quality control a lot of defect needed to repair after moving in, materials that were use are not consistent with other homes within the community, no feedback from construction manager when questions were ask about the house.
