Things pointed out on walkthrough were not fixed. Payment is 25 % more than quoted at closing, fencing had to be redone by myself and 3 neighbors.

Not worth the high price tag. Lennar claims to offer quality homes but skimps on materials used in the home. The cheapest grade of apartment paint is used throughout. Poor workmanship skills in the construction teams, scratches on the walls and floors, unfinished corners, peeling paint on doors, missed sealant on exterior walls. Lennar will boast about their customer care team, but in reality they ignore every request and close any ticket as soon as you close on the home. Request a thorough walk-through. Came to colonial Heritage, probably higher expectations than I should have. Lennar was portrayed during the sales portion as a quality builder unfortunately, those expectations haven’t been met. I would have expected better than below average workmanship, which is unfortunately what we got.

it has ben avery ice experience, my new house is cozy and very wel distributed, my family an i love it.

I’m thrilled so far and I am very happy with my house and the upgrades that it came with. The warranty department has been very responsive to any issues and everything I missed during the walk through has been or will be corrected. Love the community and the close proximity to Sunset Beach and the Calabash waterfront area.

It was not clear who address your issues to because I was constantly told that’s not my department. I didn’t have a pleasant experience with financial group with Lennar. It’s an unwanted experience for me and I am glad it’s behind me.

-Fence falling from no concrete -Windows leak -Front door leak -Poor exterior prep and painting -Worst of all AC is inadequate for home and gets warm inside home. -second worst of all is lennar warranty is terrible they try everything under the sun to avoid fixing anything. Piece of crap people. DONT BUY anything from lennar -other people in the neighborhood have issues even worse than mine.

Lennar made our move easy

So far they have been very good to work with and workmanship is very good, this is the third house we have built and it is better than the first two by a long shot so far. Only time will tell and maybe a review at 1 year can really solidify workmanship and responsiveness to issues, So far in the first 4 weeks they have been really good. they do take care of everything from Loan, to build, to insurance and made it somewhat easy.

Honestly this was my 3 home purchase but if was the worst of the three. More stressful, communication wasn’t good at all, timeline kept changing, walkthrough and final walkthrough did not repair a lot of things that were broken or damage. Plan to purchase again but it will not be with Lennar.

The houses go up quick. The folks working on the houses are most likely not skilled carpenters, brick layers, etc. the numerous issues after construction have been addressed. The customer service manager is ver responsive. Wish lennar would allow you to pay for upgrades. They put a package together and aren’t flexible to needs. Finishes are nice. I would like to see them come to with a better way to keep the other new construction from being so intrusive. I get we bought new construction. Don’t remind us of it by having every worker block your drive way or blast music at 7am while they hand drywall. ... More

Most of my experiences were great. The painters were a joke and couldn’t even use the correct paint to do patches. Carpet Installers are inexperienced and need to be trained better so that way you can’t feel all the strips through the carpet.

The Lennar team was great to work with from the beginning of the sale to closing.

All aspects of Lennar home purchase was excellent, except for Lennar Mortgage poor customer service. After 3 and a half months, my loan application was not approved, and I cancelled 3 days before closing date.

Over all process was smooth. Especially Sales& Mortgage. Special kudos and appreciation to the Lennar credit score advisor. Lennar won’t dis appointment me and anyone for sure. Happy to recommend Lennar to my family and friends for sure. Regarding service team, I haven’t reached out them yet but Hoping to have the better customer support for the next 330 days.

Make sure your home is FULLY completed because once you move in they drag their feet on getting your repairs or even things that need to be completed, completed. The communication is extremely poor between their people and from the construction manager to contractors, etc.. been in my home for almost 2 months and still waiting on items to get fixed/completed. They are more concerned with selling more houses so they will try to complete those before really caring to attend to your needs although you have already moved into your home.

If I could go back I would have never bought a Lennar home. To start they act like they throw all these extras in when in reality all the homes come with them. When I walked through the home the first time there was a beer can on the kitchen counter (screams quality). You could fill up multiple pages with the amount of repairs they had to make initially. Of course now that I’ve closed I find things pretty often that were poorly done and now it’s too late for them to repair it. The carpet is coming up in a lot of the corners, especially the stairs. As well as every seam of the doors and stairs you can feel the ends of the nails. Every cabinet is uneven, they didn’t paint to the edge of the cabinets. There’s paint on the light fixtures. I went days without AC and a fridge because my power surged from whoever laid the power lines. They had to dig a giant hole in my yard to fix the problem so now I have a giant dirt patch but of course I’m already closed so they won’t replace the grass. I had 3 breakers trip that needed to be replaced. The parking is very limited, they obviously didn’t put much thought into how many people will be living there. They stained the staircase banister with two different colors so I had to redo it all. There’s paint on a few of the door knobs. I could go on and on. It’s disappointing, I paid full price for a house that is not even close to worth it. They’re mass produced, I thought I was getting a good deal but I was gullible. Some of the staff were friendly while others were just trying to make a sale. One of the sales reps irresponsibly posted a picture of my drivers license on another listing and it was online for weeks before I finally got it taken down. He said that he wasn’t good with technology and asked me to do it. Don’t trust their prices a week before closing they were selling the exact same townhouse for more than 30K less. ... More

Since I don’t have an any good words about the loan officer(s) that were assigned to me. I will say the managers and underwriting team ans well ans the crew who did walk the through and inspection ,especially the onsite rep who was phenomenal. They made this experience so much better than after the shamockery with loan officers and this played a part in the score and success of a close.

Lennar kept me well informed and even accommodated a misguided shipment of refrigerated medication. James gladly put the package in the fridge for me. Above and beyond my expectations. Everyone has been quick to answer all questions.

The whole experience was stressful and not up to regular standards. I do not recommend anyone to deal with Lennar, Lennar Mortgage or Lennar Warranty nowadays
